Nov 27,2022First off id like to say a big big thank you to chris Eeley my instructor and chris macarthy who is new to the instructor team they both made this experience for me fantastic and guided me through each thing i needed to work on and showed me if i still wasnt sure which helped me troumendously they really went ubove and beyond and also gave me great incouragement it is thanks to them and some my self i passed my c+e first time im truely greatfull to them both for the words of wisdom and showing me i can do it i felt just as welcome as any of the lads and enjoyed every day of the 4 day i had with the saint albans team all great guys thank you all sooo much truely greatful.

Nov 26,2022I would like to thank the staff at Jcoats St Albans. The driving instructors are a great bunch of lads who are very helpful. I would like to thank Brendan who was my instructor for all the help he has given me in passing my class1 first time round. He showed me how it is to become a HGV Driver, it is not as easy as one thinks it is until you try it. I wish him all the very best in the future.

Nov 24,2022JCoates has the finest of training instructors. From head office personal to to the instructors on the ground you will be dealing with the best there is. But this review is about Lewis at the St Albans branch. Hgv runs through the veins of this finest of teachers. He has the most amazing diagnostic skills and the ability to rectify where you are failing. His style and encouragment and the fact that he teachers the finer points of hgv driving is a attribute I really appreciate. In preparation and guidance for the Hgv test, Lewis is simply one of the best there is.

Absolute top guy really is a calming figure to have next to you when learning and knows what he's on about when it comes to passing this test, also has Great knowledge of the garretts green area where I did my test. Passed my class 1 today car to class 1 in leicester 1st attempt with a massive help from the instructors steve martin and rob pearson! Great guys very helpful taught me well from the word go! Instructors are approachable and professional when required but also good guys to have a chat with. Nov 18,2022My trainer Joseph Jeffery made my three days training and test calming but informative. I was put at ease from the start with his friendly and positive advice and attitude. He gave me the confidence to go on and pass with one minor as he would go over any little things that I was concerned about or he thought could make the difference from a pass or fail. I would highly recommend for anyone considering to upgrade their license. Thanks again Steven Collins

Nov 18,2022Firstly thanks to everyone involved from Darren Pell for recommending I do 8days to then my assessment drive which confirmed I needed 8days, secondly a huge thanks to a Extremely lovely & caring gentleman, he has your best interest in mind at all times, I couldn’t recommend him more honestly I couldn’t have just passed my C+E without him he’s very down to earth & would go to the end of earth to make sure your ok & understanding of everything being taught I only wish I could give 10stars instead of 5 he is very harsh when needed but I recommend this company with no hesitation, a massive thanks again lads!

Nov 17,2022If you want to pass your C1 driver training book with J Coates. Just passed mine on the 1st go with only 2 minors all thanks to Lewis. He was a great instructor, very knowledgeable, patient and easy to get along with. I was crazy nervous but Lewis made the hole thing easy. From the manoeuvres test to the actual driving exam Lewis had confidence in me which helped massively. And all the guys at J Coates are chatty and friendly making it an overall great experience. Would recommend to anyone 😁

Nov 17,2022Over the last 3 days I have been taught how to drive to the C1 standard, and passed my C1 test today. Massive thank you to Lewis who taught me all his knowledge and experience on this class of vehicle. Lewis was very straight to the point when it came to safety but was also very fun and enjoyable to talk with whilst driving and learning. I would 100% recommend Jcoates driving (St Albans) to anyone who is looking to upgrade their driving licence to a higher class.
