Oct 05,2022Just come off my hgv practical test and passed first time. Would just like to thank j Coates and (Tristan) for the training they have give me the past couple of days. Would definatly recommend yousing this company for any one looking to take their HGV test

Oct 03,2022Did my 7.5tonne with j coates st albans in april, passed my test first time, just did my class 1 C+E with them last week & passed with them again first time, great advice throughout learning procedures and ask what you think/feel as you go through the process, great company with a great team of teachers, might come back for a coach licence too😂

Oct 02,2022J Coates (Chris Eeley) did a great job getting me through my NRI tests. Chris was great throughout, sharing he own experiences and knowledge to help me better understand what was required. The other Instructor's all appeared friendly too. Very welcoming and professional with good kit to aid learning.

Oct 02,2022I’d just had a 4 day c+e course with my test on the fifth day and it was a really great experience! Steve my instructor was fantastic really! A great teacher and really knows his stuff! I highly recommend jcoates and instructor Steve! He’s not bad company when your stuck in traffic for 4 hours either haha!!

Sep 30,2022I can't rate these guys high enough,... I've just completed a straight 4 day HGV CLASS 1 forward drive training course into the TEST on the 5th day and i passed the test first time !!! I also had the HGV CLASS 1 trailer training and TEST also with these guys before this !!! Passed !! 👍🏻👍🏻 New chapter in my life, well and truly started !! Much thanks and regards to my trainer Steve Martin and J Coates HGV services 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks mate 🥳🥳

Sep 24,2022In BOLD RED writing it read bring DRIVING LICENCE, it said nothing about 3a pass certificate.. Test was then cancelled. Next test appointment on 22nd Aug the examiner said the lorry wasn't road worthy. Ps. The bold red writing has now been corrected on the back of my sircumstances.

Sep 23,2022I completed my entire course at St Albans and their staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very good at putting you at ease. straight awaynyou ate accepted as one of the team and the banter really helps your calm your nerves before tests. My instructors were very good and gave me good insight and instruction. I would (and already have) recommended J Coates to friends.

I could see that he cares about his students, he even came earlier to start the day so that we don`t miss anything. Great experience. Thank you Stefan

Sep 16,2022So just passed my C1 license with Wayne Hallett (J Coates HGV Services LTD) and I couldn’t be any happier with the hole service I had. From the get go I was treated with respect and was calmed down being nervous driving a new vehicle. Wayne was extremely great at instructing me in the right direction and was very reassuring in correcting me. I would highly recommend J Coates for anyone thinking about doing there LGV or HGV training and I can’t thank Wayne enough for everything he has done for me!!! Thank you so so much.

Oct 07,2022J Coates provides a very good and professional service. I was very pleased with the way the instructors helped me to learn the reversing manoeuvres. Wayne the gentleman that did the reversing with me was a star gave me some good tips and pointers. And for my practical test my instructor was Tristan who was also a star. We had a good chat, very patient guy and a good teacher, also gave good tips and pointers. I passed my test on the first go. I would definitely recommend J Coates to anybody looking to get their HGV license.
