Jul 19,2024Our mortgage broker that was assigned to us was Gareth. We were potential first time buyers at the age of 20 and 23 and we were honestly in such a sticky situation, where we had so much to sort out, and things to align, and it was a slight mess from start to finish. Gareth took us from being potential first time buyers, to first time buyers. Without his help we wouldn’t have gotten where we are today, signing away mortgage offers, getting excited for the house we can call home very soon. I know that Gareth had to walk through hell and back to let us get this mortgage offer, and we both cannot be more thankful for his help. We had a few other mortgage brokers try to help us at the start but once they saw that we were in a slight pickle they lost interest completely. Gareth picked us up and helped us sort it all out and was right there to answer any questions we may have and make sure we get this offer. And we did. All thanks to Gareth. We both honestly could not be any more thankful, and could not recommend Gareth and JLM mortgage services enough. If you need a good mortgage broker. Choose JLM mortgage services, Gareth and the team will not let you down. Again massive thanks, we look forward to using them many more times in the future!

We had a complicated (for us anyway!) mortgage and remortgage and he sorted everything and was a constant support throughout the process. He was actually much more than just a broker in the end, more of a general person that I went to for advice about everything! Couldn't rate high enough. It's a cliché, but 5 stars isn't enough.

We turned to Gareth when we had already had several mortgage deals fall through, and he was able to perform a minor miracle in finding us the right mortgage on a property that others had written off as “un-mortgageable”. He stands apart from other professionals in his industry as truly outstanding. He always provided very clear, commercial and thoughtful advice and we were very glad indeed to have his support throughout the process. You want this guy on your side! From a client service perspective he goes above and beyond and is genuinely committed to getting you the best deal he can. He is always available via call/text and his responsiveness at any time of day is utterly ridiculous! The best mortgage broker you could ask for, highly recommend - we would never use anyone else now we had found him.

Outstanding service on every level from the day we 1st spoke all the way through to the day we secured our mortgage. Emails and messages were responded to at lightning speed and requests and questions were even dealt with over the weekend. If you're looking for a mortgage broker, stop looking and use JLM.

Apr 17,2024With a default from a ridiculous cowboy parking fine on my credit file, I was convinced that a mortgage was out of the question for me. I had a chance conversation with someone who recommended Ryan Waters at JLM and I honestly am thanking my lucky stars that I just happened to mention my situation to them. We first spoke in January 2023 but due to the rising interest rates we decided to hang on until later in the year. Ryan was so patient and understanding with us, and as first time buyers guided us through every step seamlessly. We touched base again in January 2024 and now in April we have had our mortgage accepted, with no hiccups or difficulties in any way. Ryan made sure he explained every step of the application to us and has been in constant touch with us, enduring my endless WhatsApps and panicked phone calls, talking me back down to earth on more than one occasion! I would without a shadow of any doubt recommend Ryan and his services to first-time buyers and people remortgaging alike, especially so if you may have averse credit or defaults. Thank you for everything Ryan, you have been an absolute dream from start to finish!
