Mar 01,2023I am a solo buyer looking to purchase my first home, and a friend recommended JLM Mortgages to me. I sent an initial enquiry email and received a response that night, with an appointment booked for the next morning! In the first appointment with Gareth, I had my financial review and we talked about my goals now and any potential future plans. This gave me the confidence that Gareth really wanted me to make the best decisions for me now but that would also set me up perfectly for the near future. No time was wasted and we began the process there and then! I really enjoyed working with Gareth, he took the time to explain things to me and broke down the future projections and consequences of the decisions to be made. As a first time buyer there were a few things I didn’t know I needed to do and processes I wasn’t sure of, that is where Gareth’s experience shone. You can tell he's very passionate and knowledgeable about his area of expertise. He really and truly worked for my benefit, ensuring the decisions I made worked for my financial status now but also projecting my future goals and ensuring I would be in the best position for them. Even when I needed extra support Gareth went above and beyond to support me and also knew how best to communicate with all parties in the house buying process. Gareth’s communication was very honest and second to none, he provided everything when he said he would and was great with emails, calls and texts. He also supported by speaking to parties in the process to ensure the process was moving along and providing me with updates. I really felt like he brought me along and updated me constantly on the process. Would definitely work with Gareth on my next project! Thanks again.

Dan found the best deals at the time and gave us all the options we’d asked for. Never put any pressure on us and answered every question we had throughout. Even checked in with the solicitors and made sure they’d set us to be complete in time for when our current mortgage ended. Thank you again!

Jan 28,2023Dan Eastoe was great! He was incredibly knowledgable about the market and the process, and also easy to get hold of. We applied for our mortgage at a time of turbulence in the market, where lenders were pulling their products as a result of the governments mini budget in September, and Dan acted at pace to get our mortgage application submitted before the product was pulled, securing us a lower rate, of which we are very grateful. He also recommended us a brilliant solicitor. I would highly recommend using Dan!

Nov 11,2022I would recommend using their services,especially in these difficult times, in regard to securing a favourable mortgage.Gareth Llewelyn was excellent and from start to finish was friendly but very professional and was able to take a lot of the hard work out of the experience.He was attentive and and was available to answer any questions and as stated all ran very smoothly and managed to secure a favorable outcome.I would also recommend anyone from Scotland to use there services as he was up to date in understanding the differences in the house purchasing process in Scotland.I would highly recommend their services and I will certainly be recommending to others who I know are in the market.

I'm a foreigner living in the UK, so my mortgage wasn't straightforward but you never would have known by the ease of the process. They also helped me to understand the process and make key decisions as well as gave me a realistic read on the market and timelines – spending as much time as I needed to talk things through. I never felt like I was pushed into anything and I never looked back after deciding to use JLM.

Mar 01,2023As a first-time buyer and quite niave about the process, there seemed to be everyone trying to offer mortgages for you after every viewing and made me not want to use them as they all seemed to give the same sales pitch. I discovered JLM mortgages and it was a completely different experience. Daniel from JLM was always there for any questions and queries. He helped explain everything to me and found not just the best rate but I got continued excellent and rapid service right up until the end. He definitely helped make the process of buying my first property less uncertain and a much more pleasant experience. Couldn't recommend him and JLM enough.
