John with Johnson & Perrott Mahonpoint was amazing to deal with when buying my new car recently. No request was too big or too small. I didn't feel pressured at any point of the process which I have experienced with other dealers in the past. When I was looking to trade in a previous car, I went to another large dealer in Cork and the salesman wouldn't even tell me what my cars trade in value was before trying to pressure me into agreeing to a deal, this was completely the opposite at Johnson and Perrott. They were completely upfront with price from the beginning and they were completely open to negotiating a great deal that suited everyone. It was one of the easiest transactions I've ever done when trading in my car. I can't recommend them enough.
The staff were excellent and made purchasing our first new vehicle very easy. Richie was very helpful in going through our options and Pat made the financing side an absolute doddle. Highly recommended.
The after sales service is terrible if something is wrong with your vehicle while it's under warranty. They drag their heels and don't contact you and don't give you confirmation of going for certain issues. If you don't have a record from there saying you went there, then in their records you were not. Very disappointed in them is an understatement.
A very professional hand over when I picked up my new car! Ian was very through in explaining the features of the car! He was delightful to deal with, always polite and courteous and very helpful!
The car was in to diagnose a fault that was caused by a third party replacing my windscreen. The fault was identified and fixed very quickly.
Got the car ahead of time due to a cancellation my only slight crib was the number plate was loose and I had to go to Mahon to get it fixed rather than Bishopstown which was much closer

Service was good but as stated by a previous reviewer online booking system is broken. The reminder SMS from JPMG advises to call or use the short url to book online. The short url is broken resulting in a "404 Page NOT Found" page. Navigating to the JPMG site and using the online booking system to request a service at a preferred day and time worked fine, but this request was never responded to. A week later I telephoned and booked. Don't offer online bookings if its broken. IT Service provider needs a stern talking to I would say. 3 days after JPMG completed my service, JPMG contacted me by phone to remind me my service was due and did I want to book in for a service. So overall the booking system is in a right state and is a bad customer experience. The service itself and JPMG staff were fine. I do find the Seat /JPMG statement to head you off at the pass from asking for a printout of the service record by saying we have your service records online, so you don't need a printout to be a little disingenuous. My Seat service record only being available online at JPMG Seat is of course a way to encourage me to only go back to Seat / JPMG if I want to change my car. If I go anywhere else I have no service record and Seat policy appears to be to refuse to give it to the customer, it should be given by default to the customer on completion of the service,

I bought a new car 10 months ago.It was repaired several times. Yesterday I went with another request and instead of fixing the fault they did a service for which I had to pay! Not a competent company! Waste of time and money

We bought the car in cash nearly 3 weeks ago our agent Mark is nice and helpful but when we started hving problem with the car , the service is very slow and they keep telling me that they will get back to me but even i contacted them in the afternoon they said that they will ring me back again. The day finished still no one ring me. I hve so many things to do the next day and no car to use. It was so frustrating we havent even enjoy the car yet as it is always in the garage. We were thinking that we had it from a prestigious dealer but never expected that this thing will happened to us.
