Oct 10,2019After much searching finally selected JWS as a neighbor recommended them. They replaced 6 sash windows and a door at a very competitive price - not the cheapest but definitely not expensive either. We are so pleased with the results!! From the salesman, surveyor, installation coordinator to the guys who actually did the installation - all really friendly and very professional. would definitely use JWS again in the future. Plus a 10 year guarantee too!! Many thanks!

Oct 09,2019Professional & Trustworthy. Recently had my old conservatory roof replaced by JWS Home Improvements. Firstly, I would like to say that I would recommend JWS 100%. From the beginning to the end the lads did a fantastic job. They turned up when they said they would, they were very clean and courteous and knew exactly what they were doing. I have had my new conservatory roof on for over a month now and it's one of the best moves I've made. If you are thinking of changing your old polycarbonate roof to a solid roof then I would suggest you have these guys in to do it. P Mullen (M41)

Oct 05,2019Brilliant service from JWS the salesman,Surveyor and the builders were professional and courteous. We had a conservatory roof replaced and the work was carried out efficiently and skilfully. Mark and Adam the builders were excellent they were clean and even went back to the depot at 4.30. pm one day to obtain a roll of waterproof membrane as they were one strip short to ensure the roof was weatherproof when they returned the job only took them 10 minutes to finish but the extra travelling meant that they only finished work at 6pm. This showed us their professionalism and brilliant work ethic. We are so pleased with the results and would highly recommend this firm Thank you from Ann-Marie and Michael Spriggs in Prescot

Oct 01,2019Porch door and windows fitted 17/08/2019 ,what a mess!. Wrong glass fitted, damaged frames,door problem opening & closing, locking problem ,internal cills damaged ,ceiling damaged ,parts missing etc etc.By 19/09/2019 all faults rectified or so i thought. Today i decided to decorate the porch but felt a severe draught , on investigation found a 1 inch gap between frame and brick covered with a D moulding.When looking through the gap can see outside mouldings and frame not even screwed to brick. It is also obvious that door frame is not central to recess, hence the large gap on one side, which is, in my opinion, not something a trained fitter would do. I was also told that the door would "settle down" but due to the constant pushing of the door in order to lock it the ceiling is once again cracking and it would appear the frame is moving .As a pensioner i need to be sensible when spending my money on improvements but on this occasion i was not very sensible using this company.

Sep 13,2019JWS put our conservatory up in Feb 2019 a job that should have took 2 weeks took well over 7 weeks with problems all the way. Every step of our conservatory fitting had problems: We were led to believe that the men working on the conservatory were in-house workers but we were wrong numerous sub contractors came to fit the conservatory The initial men that turned up broke the back gate, left screws and glass in the garden. Workmen were sent round to tidy it up but we are still finding glass fragments hidden under stones which we are clearing up DOORS - the patio doors wouldn't lock numerous workmen came to fix it each assuring us that the door worked, took over 5 workmen to "fix" the doors. PLASTERING - the plaster was a complete waste of time showed up late, didn't show up at all, rude left the conservatory in a mess that we had to clean up. The front top windows were not level so they had to be refitted again. A makeshift attempt was made to fill in the gaps to were the boards had been taken off. Several times workmen came back to rectify the problem We had a crack in a window which we found by chance which resulted in having the frame to be changed. A wrong frame was made and then the replacement frame hadn't been made The whole right side of the conservatory had to be refitted as when it rained rain water came through. Major fire hazard as we have 2 double plugs on that side. We came down to find water pouring off the window boards. JWS sent their manufacture to assess the problem, no presence from JWS. This man broke the blind wand which we had to organise to refit. Very very poor communication, little effort was made on JWS's half. We always had to make the call to find out what was going on. We emailed the managing director asking him to call us. To this day he has made no attempt to speak to us instead he got his ex manager to call us to sort out the problems. The conservatory cost a lost of money and we wish we had never let JWS fit it. I certainly would never ever recommend this company to any one
