Oct 15,2022If you don’t mind LS raising the rent by 20% after 2 months then the place is ok. They have the ability to raise your rent at anytime with 30 days notice which is standard in the industry. However, the 20% increase is unreasonable and overpriced compared to the market. They bank on you not wanting to move all your stuff. We needed a second unit and the pattern repeated itself. Well, we didn’t stick around to see if they would change the rent again after another couple of months. They completely lost my trust and never a recommendation. The place is owned by private equity which only cares about the bottom line profit.

Oct 14,2022I called Life Storage on Monday and spoke to Joseph who provided the best customer service over the phone, He gave me all of the information I needed to reserve and rent a space at the facility. I could have done everything online but chose to visit the facility to verify if the space I reserve was adequate. When I arrived, I was assisted by Jennifer who was just as customer service oriented as Joseph. She showed me the space, completed my reservation, and smoothly checked me in. The entire process was better than I could have expected. Way to Go!!!! I would recommend this facility to anyone requiring a storage space.

Oct 12,2022Amanda couldn’t have been more helpful. There were a few company computer logistic hiccups in the process but she got us thru the issues presented with flying colors. Then Amanda guided to our unit with a full explanation of hours and essential phone numbers. We felt quite relieved in knowing our “stuff” would be cared for.

Oct 09,2022The purpose of this note is to provide feedback about Jeff Post at the Life Storage facility in Glen Head, NY. Several weeks ago my wife and I stopped by the facility inquiring about rental of a storage unit. Jeff greeted us and provided us with all the information we needed to determine if we wanted to rent a storage unit at this facility. We also visited other storage companies in the area. On Friday October 7 we returned to the Glen Head facility and rented a unit. The primary reason we went back to Life Storage was Jeff. He made a tremendously positive impression on us and particularly on me. In the early days of my professional career I taught Professional Selling Skills and Quality Customer Service Skills. I know the skills it takes to be both an exceptional sales person and a top notch provider of excellent customer service. Jeff without a doubt hits the bull's eye. He has all the skills it takes. He was honest, trustworthy, showed excellent people skills and answered all our questions accurately and honestly. He exhibits every possible skill necessary to complete his job in an exemplary way! Later in my career, I taught leadership training to very senior managers. I would repeatedly say to the managers. "You are only as good as the people who report to you." Life Storage is very fortunate to have Jeff on their team. He will do everything he can for you and for Life Storage.

But most importantly the service, from Carlos Ramires. He was quick, professional, and very pleasant. His trainer Makensey did a great job as well. Thank you Life Storage.

Oct 06,2022Great Experience!!! I recieved a follow up call less than 5 minutes after my online reservation from the manager on site, stopped in later in the day and was in and out in 10 min. The manager even took the time to walk me up to the storage unit and was super friendly!!! 10 out of 10 service!

Amanda Charles, was the one who assisted me, very professional and attentive. She covered all the details, answered all my questions and made sure that I knew the entire storage process. She was excellent. Signing was quick and easy with her help. Very happy.
