Nov 07,2022Hello Life Storage, my experience here seemed fine when I initially rented the storage unit but on a couple of occasions when dealing with the manager at the 7700 W 79th St, Bridgeview, IL 60455 location the interactions were not so pleasant. I don’t recall her name but when I asked for the manager she said she was the manager. In any case, I went to the front desk to let them know that during one of my visits I had to walk the entire facility to before I found a cart to move some items back and forth from my unit #1424. I told them that after walking thru the entire place I found a cart and the handle was broken. The person I spoke to said that they were only allowed to have 3 carts at the facility, and mentioned that, that was simply unacceptable for a facility that big. Also, the cart with the broken handle was a safety risk and someone could get hurt if they pulled on it and the handle slipped off because it was broken. The manager simply shrugged her shoulders and didn’t not seemed to be too interested in my concerns. Fast forward a few months and on my last visit, there’s still only a 2-3 carts on hand and I had a lot of things to move so I was occupying 2 or the carts there. Of course another customer came a simply took one of the ones I was using because they felt I should only be using 1 cart. Customers should not have to be fighting or arguing with other customers over hand carts or risk injury because of broken carts. This should’ve have been addressed back when I first mentioned it to the facility manager. So when I went to go speak to the manager again about the carts, it was 11:30am and I did not realize the facility did not open until 12. The same person I spoke to the previous time I was there to inform them about the carts came to the door to let me know they did not open until 12 and was scolded by her because she felt I approached the door exit gate too fast. Which leads me to the other reason I was there to speak to them. One of the exit gates was not working and there was no notice whatsoever letting customers know to use the other exit which is really the entrance. So I sat at the exit waiting for the gate to open not knowing it was no functioning for a while until another customer who had already figured it out informed me of the exit issue. Both interactions with the manager were completely unprofessional. For some reason she seemed agitated that I was there mentioning the issues I had encountered and she seemed to have a really bad attitude towards. I all I was expecting was some kind of genuine concern and possibly some feedback stating she would look into the matters, but all I got was her slamming the door in face. Needless to say, there are so many storage facilities everywhere that I will make sure never to use Life Storage again and also let friends and family the way I was treated here. Considering I rented one of your biggest storage units for approximately 1year and the cost of those are nothing to sneeze at, just a terrible experience on the few times I needed any kind of assistance. Shame on you life storage for having such an unprofessional person operating such a big facility.

Nov 06,2022The manager explained things well. She was very thorough, as well as patient showing us different units to compare. She expressed to us the discount on materials. The grounds are kept very clean. It was a 5 star experience. We will recommend Life Storage to others .

Oct 31,2022Ive had the best storage experience today at Life Storage - Scottsdale. Anne was able to be there for me and helped me understand the charges that I’d be paying monthly, and upfront. She was very communicative on everything from where my unit is, directions, the area. Everything. I appreciate her being there for me. She was able to adhere my needs. I was given three keys and was told I’d be able to keep the lock and keys upon moving out. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Anne.

Oct 31,2022The check in lady was great. She must have been frustrated showing me the unit as the lights were inop along that section of hall. When I asked about the fire doors staying open while moving in she noticed they were inop and would not stay open. She explained the second lobby/elevator would save a lot of walking as it was in my part of the building. When she showed it to me the elevator was inop. There is a sewer smell in the section I walked through to get to my unit. Overall this location needs a lot of work!!

Oct 31,2022In my opinion Life storage is hands down the best storage out here.The manager Snez was Awesome, she has a great personality and customer service skills. Their prices are unbeatable and the process to get my unit was explained very throughly as well as the store was very well organized. I also like how the boxes and moving items are all 50% off when you get a unit. I would definitely recommend this storage facility to anybody and everybody lol. You’ll thank me later 😁

Oct 28,2022The stores unit was not clean. The gate code did not work had us waiting around for a hour to just drive away with a non working gate code. still unsure if it will work today. For the price I'm paying not happy with my Experience.

Oct 28,2022James was extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to. First time renting a storage unit and the process couldn’t have been made easier/smoother than it was. Originally went in for a 5x5 but upgraded to a 5x10 to store some tools, clothing, and other miscellaneous items. Definitely would recommend to other people.
