From the time we called until the time we rented the unit, the experience was easy and seamless. Charles, who we dealt with at the Wellington store, was fantastic. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. To have employees like him, is a tremendous asset.

Stephanie (manager) service was superb! She made my experience seamless. Her attitude was upbeat and very professional. Her knowledge was evident, because she answer all my questions with ease. Moving is a stressful event, however, this part of it was great. Thank you Stepanie 5226 Nansemond PKWY Suffolk, Va.

Poor poor poor! Where do I begin- I moved into my storage unit in September of last year and everything was fine until May 24 (my birthday) when I went to the unit to retrieve a suitcase and noticed water all around my unit. I went to unlock the unit and it wouldn’t open. I pulled with all my strength and was able to get it open, but then tons of boxes fell on me. And then I smelled a very strong smell of rancid mold or mildew, looked down and there were wet boxes everywhere! They had collapsed which caused other boxes on top to fall forward which is why I couldn’t open the door initially. There was standing water everywhere but just in and around my unit. I examined the building and realized that the water must’ve been coming from the air conditioner which was right behind my unit. The facility did acknowledge that is was the air condition leaking into the unit later that week. I hadn’t been to the unit in quite some time, and thank God I did because I never got any phone call or email from them letting me know there might be a problem. Probably because they are not inspecting the property on a regular basis like the should! Maybe if the on site people were doing their job, they would have noticed the air conditioner leaking and the standing water outside my unit before my precious property was destroyed! The office was closed that day so I called the main life storage number and spoke to a couple of people who apologized but said they couldn’t do anything and that I need to call my insurance company and the local office during their regular office hours. I guess they didn’t really understand the magnitude of the situation. My LIFE was in that unit. Thousands and thousand of dollars worth of my life. While a lot of it was in plastic bins and completely salvageable, I still have over $12,000 in losses. What was life storages response? “We can switch your unit out for a new one, and offer you some boxes as well as 2 months rental free of charge”- but they won’t pay for me to move units, they wouldn’t even give me packing tape or paper until I really came down on the store manager. Inevitably I had to hire movers and take 2 days off of work to completely move everything back to my house. When I went to the office to see if I could be reimbursed I was told “good luck”- so far I’m out $12,000 in personal loss $1000 for time off from work $300 for movers $50 in gas $250 deductible On top of this, I’m 100% positive my young son and I were exposed to black mold as it is all over EVERYTHING. I am experiencing a migraine, as well as extreme lethargy and flu like symptoms. The movers and I were dry heaving at the smell coming from the unit. I went to close my account after my items were removed and asked to be reimbursed for the movers, and since I moved out a month and a half early, credited for that time and I was told no, but provided an email to a district manager. I think I’ve already spoken to him and he was no help- I hope that my insurance company nails you guys to the wall. I know they will be coming after you to recoup the pay out. Here’s just one pic of the mold that riddled all of my winter clothing, expensive bedding, picture frames, office supplies, and tons of other stuff. Anyone know the owner of this place? I’d love to chat with him directly

We had the same problem with late fees being charged because of the "new and improved" system. There was cardboard on the front door to the "secure" area for several weeks. Once it was fixed, the door didn't work and we had to knock on the window and hope someone heard. We are livid about the way we were treated from the mistakes that THEY made. I would recommend staying far away from this place. It's a dump

First time customer. I was truly pleased with the easy access and how clean the facility was. The customer service was outstanding. Al was truly helpful with all my questions and made my process very easy. Robyn was also very helpful in the process to get my storage unit. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to store your items.

The price that I was charged for my storage unit was reasonable as compared with other storage companies. The location is very convenient to me and the manager and assistant manager are very friendly and made my reservation process very easy. My only complaint is that the facility does not have enough carts to assist in moving your belongings. The two times I have been there, there was only one car in the unloading zone and no carts were available. Adding several carts will help.

I was Assisted by Jenniveer at the store #8282 700 creek rd Delanco nj 08075 She Has a Warm Wonderful personality, Was Timely well informed of her duties and most of all keep a Beautiful smile on her face DO NOT LOSE HER!!!!!!!
