I would give them 0 stars if I could. Last summer Lit Fibre run some fibres into Potters Bar. There was a 'pushy' if not aggressive campaign to get people signed up with them - phone calls, emails, door to door salesmen, cards through the door, offers of 6 months free while your other provider contract is on etc... As my contract expired with the current provider I decided to give them a go, although obviously there are all sort of doubts about a tiny company with CGNAT, questionable uplink capacity, support and equipment. But hey ho everybody has to start somewhere so let's give'em a chance... Installation date was booked for today with morning slot between 10 to 12. They sent a text and email saying that engineer will be in touch on the day before that slot to inform of arrival. Obviously one makes all sorts of arrangements and preparations if they have to wait for a service performed at home and not following through for an appointment is a cause of inconvinience to say the least. Day came, slot came, no phone call, nothing. As the text stated that they might arrive anytime between 10 and 12 I waited for 12 to pass and got in touch with Lit Fibre support team, only to be abruptly dismissed saying that the engineer could be driving or something. At the same time they advised that they cannot get hold of their engineer but were quick to dish out the excuses and the assumptions. When I challanged this that this is not very reassuring for a new customer who is entering into 24 month contract with them they just said that my installation will happen today (no timeframe given and no apology). I pointed out that so far there was no apology and it only came after I started questioning my cooling off period. My wife wanted to phone them and make a complaint as obviously this was wasting our time and we had to make special arrangements to wait for their engineer who was late. We phoned through I authorised her to speak to them as I am the account holder - she was polite and as soon as she started speaking they just hang the phone on her. There was no call back just in case the line was disconnected unintentionally. 15 minutes later I am receiving a phone call from uknown mobile number - obviously their field engineer who sounds annoyed and is telling me that their are still on the previous job and will come to me 'today'. At this point I really don't feel like I am going to stay with this company as any confidence in them is long gone. I am advising their customer representative on chat that I would like to cancel and now they start with stream of apologies, offeres of 1 month for free, cooling period extended to 30 days etc. I finally get to cancel the order and start reading all the negative reviews here - same experience as mine regarding installation, followed by slow speeds after month of use, poor customer service when an issue occurs. Funnily all the negative reviews contain plenty of detail of what exactly happened, whereas the 'glowing' ones are generic, you judge for yourselves... It is a pity that in 2024 in UK you still cannot get decent FTTH provided.

I can't give no stars at all, so one star it is. Was promised the world, received absolutely nothing except poor customer service. We were expecting an engineer today. It's now two hours after the expected installer was due to arrive and three calls to customer service and they can't find the engineer. No text to explain delays, so communication, no apology. "He must be driving". The last call we made, customer service put the phone down on me. They've just called offering free service for two weeks as the engineer "will be around sometime today after his current job". Sorry, if this is what your customer service/installation is like, then I'm afraid we won't be switching. Luckily we are still within the 14-day cooling off period and our current provider still has 10 days left, so we can hopefully switch back to them. Fingers crossed we will be be able to reverse this horrible mistake.

Absolutely fantastic. The installation process was simple with minimal disruption and the engineer Daniel was very polite and informative. Highly recommend ☺️

Despite it being a horrendous day and a very difficult property to run fibre to, Daniel did a fantastic job and was professional throughout. All my dealings with customer support prior to the installation has been very quick too so thanks to Vanya for that.

I’ve been a Lit customer for 6 months now. I’ve not had a single issue in that time, but I have had a few queries/requests. I’ve always received a call back or a response within minutes… most recently on bank holiday Monday at around 7:30pm!!! On this occasion, the representative (Vanya) went above and beyond to ensure I’m getting the most out of the service. One very happy Lit customer here.

Everything was simple, we got a much better deal than our old provider....the advisor was really helpful, explained everything to me...they gave me a time and date for installation, and true to their word were there and installed, very quickly and efficiently, the chap that did the work was really nice and explained everything to us...We are so happy with the new broadband, which is much faster than our old one, and its also alot cheaper than it as well..win win ..wish I had known about this company before...

Fantastic high speeds, you get the same upload as down. Customer service is second to none, fast at answering your call and always solve your issue. Just brilliant.

The gentleman who called and introduced me to Lit Fibre was extremely good at explaining how Lit Fibre works and the work involved. I rang customer services to day and the phone was answered immediately and my change of date for installation was quickly changed. I was pleased with the efficiency and service given.

Probably the best internet available As my review states, it is the most affordable, best deal internet on the market. Steve the engineer that did my installation was super polite and professional. I’ve been up and running for around 5 days now. The home router these guys provide is top notch. It might have a couple less ethernet ports than most home routers but you won’t need them with the blisteringly quick wifi and great coverage from such a small box. Previously had a huge tp-link with antennas and everything but this little white box of magic has better coverage. Lit fibre has done a great job so far!

My contract was coming up for renewal. When I tried to renew on-line, the website told me that I already had an order, and it suggested that I call the call centre. My call was answered by Nick who quickly took me through security questions and then he renewed the contract at the price I had found on the website (£22 per month for 500Mb download which I think is a great price).

I used to have Plusnet with a 25Mbit service. That stopped working. I signed up for LIT fibre. They installed it within 5 days and it's 100Mbit. The service is like light speed in comparison !! However, we have a very slight mis communication about where the line was to be attached to the house. I contacted LIT and their customer service was the best I've ever experienced. No problem... we'll send out an engineer to move it. And, the engineers and really nice and helpful people. I'm also paying a lot less than I was with Plusnet for a much better service. So all in all I cannot fault LIT.

My service today from Daniel was great! Spoke me through what he was doing and gave me estimated time frames. Very poilet with putting shoe covers on so no mess on the carpet. Very knowledgeable and ran through everything so I had good understanding. Even checked each room to check the Wi-Fi connection was all working ok. I now have a high connection all throughout the house. Thank you.
