After an initial phone call with Kate, I was considered a suitable candidate for Presbyond surgery. My initial consultation was with Sharon who was professional, approachable and explained all of the options. My next appointment was with Darshak, who explained the benefits and risks of different options and made sure I was happy with my choice. Surgery with Darshak followed a week later and the whole team made me feel relaxed, comfortable and explained what to expect. I’ve since had a couple of follow ups with Sharon and all is on track. I really like that I’ve been provided with Darshak’s number and am free to contact him with any queries and concerns during the 12 months after surgery. The whole experience has been professional, welcoming and the entire team put me at my ease from the very first phone call.

The optometrist and other staff were very professional and carried out a comprehensive range of checks that confirmed I am still slightly short-sighted. Another check in 3 months will probably be the start-point of my journey to enhancement surgery.

I now have better vision than corrected with glasses, better than 20/20. Life changing.

It was only after seeing my colleagues in action at LVC that I considered having laser eye surgery myself. I searched for offers in Germany and had a consultation, but it seemed that I was not a suitable candidate. So I made an appointment at LVC and after all the tests, Dan told me that he could do my surgery. He did an excellent job of explaining the possible outcomes and risks. The surgery itself was easy and painless for me. After 3 months I'm just happy.

Nov 15,2024I did smile surgery almost two months ago. First and foremost, I would like to thank amazing LVC team who assisted me in the process of improving my vision. I am really grateful for the effort of my Ophthalmologist (Prof. Dan Reinstein) to correct my vision. Indeed, I was greatly privileged to be one of his patients. Not only prof. Reinstein provided me with excellent vision (better than 20/20), but also taught me lessons that I took with me forever: Lesson 1: Don’t assume that you wake up from a surgical procedure with perfect outcome instantly. Each body reacts differently when it’s being recovered from a surgical procedure. You ought to be patient during the recovery stage to achieve the best possible outcome. Lesson 2: There is no point worrying about something that may not happen in the future. “Worry is interest paid on trouble before it comes due”. My optometrist (Nabila) was also really amazing. She answered all my questions about the surgery with her calm and patient attitude. She was very precise in testing my vision prior and post surgery. My patient care coordinator (Meghan) was also really supportive in giving me information on all other matters including paper works, surgery fees, booking appointments, surgery apps, etc. If I felt a bit of doubt to choose LVC for my surgery (due to far travel distance to the clinic from the city I live in), this doubt has been entirely disappeared after meeting the professional team, and achieving the best outcome in the eye surgery. It was worth it, and I believe I made the best decision in my life. Thanks LVC!

Nov 11,2024I had cataract surgery a month ago. Mr Darshak Patel was my surgeon. The whole process was very professional and easy. Following extensive eye tests with the optometrist Mr Patel explained my opinions. I chose to have the len in one eye set for reading and the other for distance vision. The surgery was stress free and as comfortable as can be expected, but with no pain. I am now free of glasses and can read, watch TV and drive with ease. A great service.
