Dec 03,2019I've been thinking about laser eye surgery for some time and eventually plucked up the courage to see if I was suitable. For the moment I walked in I felt at ease as the staff were wonderful. I never felt under any pressure and walked me through the whole process. I now am glasses free having spent most of my life with glasses I can't explain how happy I am. The surgery was so quick and painless I wished I had done it years ago.

I can't rate LVC enough: the level of care I experienced from everyone who works there was exceptional. The surgeon answered all of my questions before the procedure and helped to put my mind at rest. I am thrilled to be free from glasses! Nov 25,2019I can understand why people might be anxious about having laser treatment on their eyes. Everything was explained clearly and carefully and I felt I was in safe hands throughout the whole process. On the day of the actual treatment I was able to feel relaxed and confident about the procedure and was surprised how quickly and efficiently it was done. My eyes healed quickly and post-operative care was explained carefully. I am now enjoying life without glasses and am delighted with the results.

Nov 23,2019After @40 years of wearing contact lenses I decided that it was time for a change. After doing my research which included talking to family and friends who had undergone similar procedures at the LVC I booked an appointment to check on my suitability. My prescription was quite high and I had been turned away from other clinics because of this but the LVC carried out a battery of tests and informed me I was suitable and the arrangements were then made for the procedure to be carried out. The whole process is explained in great detail by the staff and you are even given choice of surgeon from the clinic to carry out the procedure. It is now almost 4 months since my procedure and I have not worn any visual aids since day 1 (post op). In short, I should of done this many years ago. The clinic/staff are excellent, you will not be in better hands.

I'm so happy I did it and cannot recommend the clinic highly enough.

Nov 19,2019This clinic came highly recommended by another patient. However, before deciding I visited other clinics. After reading all the information and speaking to other patients I decided to use the London Vision Clinic although other clinics were more competitive in terms of pricing. I was impressed by the level of professionalism and care showed by everyone at the clinic, starting from the receptionists, the nurses, the optometrist and finally the surgeon. Professor Reinstein was not only just an excellent surgeon who guided me through the surgery but also showed care after the surgery and subsequent check-ups - enquiring directly how things were going and how I was feeling. My experience was very positive and considering how anxious I was about doing the surgery the whole staff was very supportive and attentive and created a relaxing environment. I would highly recommend this clinic. My only regret was that of not having done this before!

All of the staff at the LVC were so friendly and were happy to answer all of my questions during the extensive pre-laser appointments which put my mind at ease. The procedure itself was quick and painless. I was given lots of aftercare advice and have had several follow-up appointments to check on my progress. I'd highly recommend the clinic to anyone thinking about laser and am glad I went to the LVC rather than a cheaper high-street clinic.

Nov 18,2019After years of wanting to have laser eye surgery, I am so happy I have finally done it! When I searched for the companies that offer it, my main concern was the quick healing time and if I would be able to do it at all (I have worn glasses since the age of 6/7). I came across LoVC online and after the initial telephone call; I felt I made the right decision by choosing them. My consultation to see if I met the eligibility criteria was a smooth process and probably the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. All of my questions were answered and the various types of surgery available to me were explained clearly, before I made my decision. That was probably the only time I was nervous – I was gearing myself up to be told I was unable to have the surgery but thankfully, I was! Once confirmed I could do the surgery I booked myself in right away. The surgery itself was a surreal experience. My surgeon reassured me throughout and they even gave me a small cuddly toy in case I did get nervous but I felt very relaxed. The procedure itself was over so quickly that I could not believe it and even though my eyes were swollen, it was so strange that I could see. LoVC gave great after care with my follow up eye exams too. I am now 5 months post op and for the first time in a long time, I went on holiday and did not have to worry about losing glasses or contact lenses breaking. It is still very strange that when I wake up I can see and I do not have to reach out for glasses anymore. LoVC were so helpful from pre to post surgery that I trust them and would definitely recommend them to anyone considering laser eye surgery.

I have already recommended a friend who has had their surgery too. The aftercare is also fantastic. There were a few times when the appointment times were running a little late but there are plenty of refreshments in the waiting room. Overall, it's been a life-changing experience. Thank you!

Nov 18,2019The information and support throughout the whole process was excellent. The staff in the clinic are absolutely lovely, always attentive and willing to help. All of the procedures and risks were very clearly explained in advance along with what would happen if anything did go wrong. The procedures themselves were actually painless and very well explained. The after care has been excellent. My eyes are still settling (6 months in) as I was told they would but working really well for me.

Expensive compared to other clinics I looked into, however the service and attention to detail has been excellent. No complications following SMILE surgery (as recommended by Prof Reinstein) and great vision!

The customer service was excellent as I was assigned an advisor who kept in regular communication with me. My optometrist was superb, giving me impartial advice which fully informed me of the risks. The surgeon was very experienced and I trusted him implicitly. I am delighted with the results. My eyesight is better now than it was when it was corrected by glasses and contact lenses. I'm pleased that I decided not to scrimp on this procedure, and I heartily recommend the London Vision Clinic if you are thinking of doing the same.

Dec 05,2019I went to London Vision Clinic based on the recommendations of a few friends who had had surgery there. I wanted the thorough aftercare, which many others do not provide. I found the consultations and planning about what kind of treatment to have very thorough and clear. Due to my age it was pointed out that it was a good idea to have what is known as blended vision where one eye is corrected for distance and one for close, meaning you don’t need reading glasses, and I have found it excellent. I do a lot of close work, and while I need to be able to see clearly at distance, I also want to be able to thread the needle of a sewing machine or do delicate soldering jobs. I can do all those things without needing glasses. When you have queries, or if a particular kind of eye drop feels a bit irritating, you are sent alternatives without question, and as much as you need. You can call out of hours too. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend the clinic highly!
