Jan 09,2024Finally decided to have laser eye surgery after years of procrastinating. My brother raved about the LoVC having had his surgery there 6 months previously. From the start, the team of surgeons and clinicians were very professional, diligent and attentive and made me feel at ease with their detailed and objective answers to my queries. I was especially impressed given that I was looked after by half a dozen or so people and they had all clearly been briefed/read up on my case thoroughly before each appointment. The surgery, which was performed by Dan Reinstein himself, went smoothly and there have been at least five follow-ups since to track the performance of my eyes. I am very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend LoVC.

Nov 20,20235-star service from beginning to the end! I have been under the care of Mr Glenn Carp and Bredan Douane, and because of my condition have undergone more than one procedure. I wanted to complete the treatments before leaving a review, so that it would be an honest reflection of the entire process. It is important to note that at all times I felt that the information imparted was clear and honest. Expectations from surgery were properly managed from the outset. Now I have come out at the other end there are simply no words to describe the care and attention that I have received, and for which I will always be truly grateful. The thoroughness of the testing, the availability for impromptu consultation and treatment has been superb. I really cannot recommend them enough. If you are considering surgery, I strongly recommend you seek an initial appointment with LVC, you will not be disappointed. Finally, a mention to all the support staff, what a pleasure to deal with, truly, thank you.

Oct 24,2023I came back to check the reviews of London Vision Clinic in the hope that it's still as excellent as it was when I last visited (and it seems it is according to so many glowing testimonials) because I'm planning a return visit. I then realised that I hadn't made the effort to leave one myself, which is pretty inconsiderate since I'm an avid review checker. So here it is: I first went to LVC a few years ago - based on a friend's recommendation - when I'd reached the "two pairs of glasses age". I wasn't sure they would take seriously such a minor complaint when they deal with such enormously complex conditions but I couldn't have been more wrong. The level of care and consideration, the efficiency and communication, the comfort and customer service... all faultless (and the waiting room drinks and snacks were pretty good too). I was given a battery of tests and scans - none of which felt uncomfortable or invasive - to see whether I was suitable for surgery. The subsequent consultation with Brendan was thorough and comprehensive and he answered all my questions with great patience. I was borderline for surgery with merits for both having it and delaying it to see whether my eyesight would deteriorate further. What impressed me the most was that I was under no pressure whatsoever to go ahead and there was no hard sell in spite of the time and expense that it must have cost the clinic already for my initial examination and consultation. It was made very clear it was my decision and in the end I opted to delay, safe in the knowledge that I would be welcome to return at any time in the future. And now, even the two pairs of glasses aren't doing it any more so I'll be heading back to LVC but this time with the confidence of having had a great first experience and abundant evidence from others that it still deserves its fine reputation. And I'll be sure to leave a more timely review next time.

The whole process was very smooth with thorough check ups and detailed explanations before and after the surgery along with continued and frequent support to make the recovery as quick as possible. Would definitely recommend to those considering laser eye surgery, wish I got it sooner!

Oct 18,2023I had laser eye surgery with Glenn Carp just before I went travelling last year and I can't tell you how pleased and impressed I am with both the results and the entire end-to-end process. The procedure itself was so quick and painless and the care I received was absolutely outstanding. All my questions were answered, and I felt utterly relaxed going in (which is not like me usually at all!). The team are so SO lovely, and they let you take home the little teddy you hold during the process (subsequently came all around Central America with me!) I can see now why they are world-renowned and why so many people speak so highly of them. I am so grateful and SO pleased I had my surgery done at such a lovely place. Thanks Glenn and all the ladies there - I couldn't be happier with my new eyes!! 😊

Oct 18,2023I had laser eye surgery at LVC 10 years ago and it’s the best thing I ever did. The surgeon was so lovely and all the staff made me feel so comfortable and informed about the process. I was provided with brilliant aftercare and advice which allowed my eyes to heal correctly. 10 years on and my vision is still perfect. It was absolutely life changing and I’m so glad I chose LVC to assist me on this journey. If you need a sign to book in, this is it!!

From the initial consultation, to the painless procedure and the outstanding after care, I simply cannot fault anything at all. Everything was explained thoroughly, I felt comfortable and confident that I made the right choice booking my surgery at London Vision Clinic. I felt fairly nervous the morning of the procedure, however the friendly and professional team instantly made me feel at ease and I was confident that I was in the best hands. The procedure was discussed step by step, I felt comfortable and reassured throughout, it was over before I could blink! Oct 15,2023It’s been almost 12 months since my eye laser surgery at the London Vision Clinic and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. My surgery was performed by Glenn who is the nicest man you could ever hope to meet, he really put me at ease during the surgery. I wish I had done it sooner. The only thing I would recommend is if you drive to get laser surgery done during the summer months when the days are longer. While I was healing bright lights in the dark made me see strong halos but this only lasted a couple of weeks. 10/10 would recommend

Sep 30,2023It’s now been over 12 months since myself and my wife had laser blended vision treatment, I reviewed last year positively so I thought I would update. We recently went back for our final checks and were both discharged, all fine and my vision is still improving, so the brain is still getting used to the blended vision. I was hoping 9 months which the clinic stated would be the length of time I would be not experiencing anymore cross blur, but that still has not quite gone away, it can be a bit hit and miss from day to day, some days more noticeable than others. They assured me that it still takes time which I was happy with. My wife has chosen to wear glasses at nighttime To drive in just to sharpen things up and give her more confidence while her Vision improves further. I have found being hydrated and plenty of sleep makes a massive difference to the vision so it’s important to keep drinking fluids and get plenty of shut eye. Am I still happy that I had it done? Absolutely 100% The confidence LVC gives you from start to finish has been brilliant and I know they will be always on hand with any concerns we both have going forwards. Sep 19,2023Would highly recommend London Vision Clinic. My treatment was 100%+ successful and now have above 20/20 vision. The staff are super friendly and helpful across the entire clinic. You are made to feel welcome and cared for. The knowledge within this clinic is second to none in my opinion. If you are looking for corrective eye surgery, I'd go no where else but London Vision Clinic.

Every staff is excellent, thorough tests, great record keeping, very patient, everything is explained very well, very efficient, very streamlined, very friendly. I've shopped around for 3 different clinics before settling at this one. Their thoroughness and professionalism gives me confidence. Highly recommended.
