Feb 20,2025The bed was extremely uncomfortable and had a tendency of collapsing. The shower door locked when you went into the shower so nobody was in the trailer with you, you would’ve been locked in. Kitchen stock was not complete and was glassware so it had a tendency of breaking.

Camper van was well cared for and reliable instructions given were clear and happy to answer any questions. Thankyou Lucky rental staff in Auckland However 1 glitch when contacting the team (Christchurch) she was unable to give me instructions to connect with the shuttle in Auckland and said I have never been to Auckland to help me?

Feb 07,2025The man who did the handover of our van was terrible - He was rude and very unhelpful. It was a shame as the booking team had been excellent and the van was just what we wanted. The other staff at the depot were lovely

Feb 04,2025for us, the best value for money but... issue with fridge, grey water tank, fresh water tank and gas bottle were not verified at our departure and gas burner sensor were dysfunctional otherwise stil best value for money! and good communication with the staff to solve fridge issue.

I had the car for four weeks the team in Christchurch and Auckland was nice and helpful. Theo explained everything I needed to know about the car, I would rent a car from Lucky Rentals again anytime.

Feb 02,2025Entspannte und einfache Anmietung, auch wenn ich etwas warten musste (war aber 45min vor dem Time Slot da). Das Auto war sehr Sauber und Ordentlich gepflegt. Das Besteck und die Kühltruhe sollten vor Übergabe vom Personal noch einmal kontrolliert werden, der Vormieter war da sehr unhygienisch mit. Abgabe war Super einfach und mega freundlich. Hier Miete ich jederzeit gern wieder an.

Feb 01,2025Nous avons eu un vieux Toyota déglingué de 20 ans, avec 430000 km au compteur qui consomme 13L/100 à 80 km/h. L'équipement a forcément le même âge que le véhicule: lit qui s'écroule, table branlante et un frigo qui ne tient fermé qu'avec un élastique. Et surtout le container WC avec des joints défectueux ce qui entraine des fuites d'urine, donc une odeur insupportable et permanente dans tout le véhicule. Louer une telle ruine 148€ (272 Dollar NZ) par jour est une honte. We had a beat-up 20-year-old Toyota, with 430000 km on the odometer, which consumes 13L/100 at 80 km/h. The equipment is of the same age as the vehicle: a collapsing bed, a wobbly table and a fridge that can only be closed with a rubber band. And above all, the WC container with faulty seals, resulting in urine leakage and an unbearable, permanent odor throughout the vehicle. Renting such a ruin for €148 (NZ$272) a day is a shame.

Feb 01,2025At the end of the day, the camper van did the job, but you don't get "peace of mind" with a car that has travelled more than 400,000 km. The condition of cleanliness was rather poor. The ceiling lining was in an unacceptable condition and so the rest of the living compartment. Broken glass was found and it took us two hours of cleaning to bring the campervan on an acceptable standard.

Jan 29,2025The check in / check out was very quick and professional. All calls have Bern pleasant and helpful. My not working fridge was replased within half an hour. So everything on that side was brillant. The car has defenetly seen better days but didn't failed dringend the whole trip.

Jan 25,2025We found a dirty duvet in the van when we picked it up. The quality you get for the money paid is very poor. The campervan is not comfortable at all. The mirror kept falling down what lead to insecurity. The van is too old and uncomfortable. Very high fuel consumption.

Jan 25,2025The car smells bad, the car was Rotten and dirty inside, there was no driver instruction in the camper, we had a flat and destroyed tyre on the motorway. The Hotline ask us to repair it ourself, we are definitiv not satified with this Performance.

Jan 24,2025The welcoming and on boarding was very friendly and easy, also the return process was easy, so five points here. The car was very aged, 411,000 km when we got it and that was very feelable in the seats and other areas. Nevertheless, we drove 5000 km without problems, so three points here. I guess, overall the biggest mismatch is the price versus value. It is highly overpriced and here I would give only two points.

Feb 20,2025Camper war nicht zu benutzen da die Liegefläche viel zu klein war ( wir haben 2 Nächte mit nur einer Person im Camper geschlafen für eine 2. Person war kein Platz=, was der Beschreibung im Internet nicht entsprach, das Fahrzeug war mit ,trotz Zusatzpaket, sehr dürftig ausgestattet, das Fahrzeug war an jeder Ecke Karosserie beschädigt. Würde Luckystar nicht mehr wählen
