Delivery and communications throughout were spot on. I still feel that cost is high and it limits how often I use the service. When I do it has always come through.
I made explicit instructions that were in writing on the tags affixed to our suitcase saying that we would pick up our suitcase at the DHL terminal in Reykjavik. While traveling in Europe several days before the agreed upon pick up date, I received and email saying our luggage was undeliverable and that they would try again the next day. I tried to call them but only got a foreign call center that was useless. I was able to contact the DHL terminal in Reykjavik. They assured me that the suitcase was there and they would hold it until we picked it up. At one am on the morning of our departure for Iceland and the day I arranged to collect the suitcase, I was awakened by a phone call from Rose at Luggage Forward wanting to tell me where my luggage was. I explained to her that it was one am where I was and that I would be getting up in three hours to catch an early flight to Iceland and—-I already knew what happened to my luggage! This was stressful and disruptive—not what I expected!

We had no trouble finding the Luggage Forward person once we disembarked in Southampton. The lady was very friendly and fast, and she was very helpful in answering some questions we had about transportation from the cruise terminal. Our luggage arrived at home quickly and in great shape. Communication with the company was also easy and always a quick response.
My experience with Luggage Forward was not at all as expected. The Luggage I sent got damaged upon arrival to its destination. I thought the additional purchased insurance would cover the damage,..but after trying to contact them several times they found a way to pull themselves from responsibility by claiming that wheels & zippers are not covered. What a joke… I believe it’s for sure their responsibility to deliver the luggage identically the same way they receive it. Luggage forwarded claim to be The best ever service company & guaranteed their highest quality of service and customers service Another joke. I would also like to add that it is for sure their responsibility, since the luggage wasn't properly packed. Luggage Forward proved to be irresponsible with an extremely poor customers service; therefore I would never use them again nor recommend them.

Even thou there was a problem delivering our documents. Everything went well. My only complaint is luggage forward does not allowed to use air tags . Don’t know the reason why?

I would give Luggage Forward a -5, but that does not Exist. I used Luggage Forward to ship 2 pieces of Luggage to the ship. I received my hard case Luggage with one of the wheels almost torn off. The ship mechanic crew was able to repair it within 24 hours, so no claim was filed. The other new soft luggage was very dirty more so than any airport handling. Return trip home: Shipped 3 pieces of luggage, one soft, 2 hard case. One hard case was new, it was received with a broken, mashed-in wheel. The other hard case was received with two wheels broken off. I filed claims within 24 hours of receiving my luggage. Waited a couple of weeks before calling to check on the status. Front Desk person stated the she had forwarded my request to claims and someone would call back. No one called back. Waited another 2 weeks called and got the same response from the front desk, but she stated that someone would call later that day and that claims person was very efficient. 2 days later, No callback. This is the worst insurance claim I have ever experienced. DO NOT use Luggage Forward if you are going on a trip. Your luggage will be damaged with no Restitution. Find another way to get your luggage to your trip site, for peace of mine
