We received our luggage a couple of hours after boarding the Queen Mary in Southampton, it was very convenient for us to send the luggage ahead the two weeks prior to our crossing. The tags were sent to us as promised, as a note, we did not know they had to be signed for, so it was fortunate that someone was at home the date of delivery. The only con, and it could have been an issue, but fortunately it worked out, was the pick up time was set for the afternoon between 3-5pm, the luggage had to be ready to go by then. We were not going to be available, but had someone to take care of it for us. We were set up to receive a call 30 minutes prior to pick up so we can have a person in place to hand off the luggage, but we never received the call and the pick up was made at 9:30 am instead. We had everything ready, but it could have been a headache. Otherwise, it went very smoothly, and we were able to track the pieces easily, and they arrived at the location earlier than expected. So, overall a good experience for us, and we would consider using this service again for future travel.

This was the first time we used LuggageForward for an international cruise. The whole process was seamless and efficient. Although I was initially anxious, our luggage showed up on our ship just fine and after the cruise a representative met us outside the cruise terminal and relieved us of our bags which then showed up at our home less than a week later. We’re definitely going to use luggage forward for all of our long distance travel.

Incredibly easy. All reservation elements handled on-line. I did place one call for clarification and it was handled beautifully. Luggage arrived earlier than forecast. My only suggestion is to ensure the emails confirming pick up etc. indicate # of bags. We sent 2 and it was unclear that they retrieved and shipped quantity of 2.

It was my first time using the service, everything went smoothly. I was a bit nervous at first but it was fantastic. Luggage got picked up by UPS and was delivered to our stateroom on the cruise shop. I definitely will use the service again.

My experience with Luggage Forward was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. My luggage went missing during a trip from London to New York, and the company's customer service made a bad situation worse. They took days to respond to emails, consistently misgendered me despite corrections (its 2024, HELLO??), and failed to honor their own policy of providing double compensation for lost items. When I called for help, they repeatedly refused to let me speak to a manager. Overall, it was a deeply unsatisfactory experience that left me feeling disregarded and powerless-- AND MY LUGGAGE IS STILL LOST. I would strongly caution against using Luggage Forward for any travel needs based on my experience.
In response to Luggage Forward, I did NOT receive any email updates on the progress of my suitcase. NOT ONE! Beware of this company. I shipped a suitcase at the cost of $ 500 from my Virginia home to be delivered to my cruise ship's cabin in Rotterdam, Netherlands The day the suitcase was to be picked up, I had not received an email with the shipping information. I waited, spent 2 hours on the phone in an attempt to contact Luggage Forward. I had to wait another day at home for the suitcase to be picked up. For the next 10 days, not a word from the company. Online, I could follow my suitcase's progress and saw that it had arrived in Amsterdam on June 6th. When I boarded the ship on June 8th, and my suitcase was not in my cabin, I panicked. No clothes for the following 2 weeks. It finally arrived within an hour of the ship leaving port. It would have been reassuring if Luggage Forward had stayed in communication. But their lack of it made my experience painful and worrisome. Never again. The next time, although cumbersome, my suitcase will accompany me.
Excellent service and seemless delivery
Suitcases mishandled Our luggage was returned dirty, covered in grass, with broken zippers and broken wheels. We had four suitcases; three arrived home on time. When I called to report the missing one, the person on the phone was vague, unclear, and rude. I had to have him explain twice what was being done, and he clearly resented my questions. He said, "Okay, I'll send this over." Send WHAT over? Over Where? I thought he meant my luggage, that he had found it. I was finally able to determine that he meant my complaint was being "sent over" to another office. The luggage arrived, so I gave them 2 stars. Two of the suitcases were so damaged we had to throw them away. I will not use this service again.
They did a good job of keeping us informed. That helped ease our anxiety about using a luggage delivery service for the first time. We opted for the eight-business-day delivery. Both coming and going the bag was there in two days.

Jul 02,2024I liked using it first time but the second time it was VERY confusing trying to figure out how to affix the tags, etc. And then when I sent the bag back home there was a huge delay picking it up and a much late delivery date than I would have liked. Then astonishingly it arrived several days earlier but we almost weren’t home yet to get it - just in time Not very reliable . Disappointing!
