Luggage Forward has been very efficient in picking up and delivering our luggage. This is the third time we have used them and each time has been very well handled. They are also very responsive in answering questions.

Luggage Forwarding worked well for my recent cruise with Seabourn. My suitcase was collected and delivered on time with plenty of updates in between. Whilst understandable, their limits on contents (eg, no meds, liquids or Li batteries) meant that I either had to carry those items through pre-flight screening in my carry-on baggage or replace them post-flight and before boarding the cruise ship.

Gentlemen right at gate to pick up bagd. The only thing that could have been better was not to have to see them at all once they were put outside door (like they do on the World and Grand Voyages).

Luggage Forward sent us all the information we needed well ahead of time. They picked up the luggage right when they said, and our bags were waiting in the cabin when we arrived. It was an easy process, and worked just as promised.

We used Luggage Forward (LF) to ship a suitcase to Cape Town SA. The bag was picked up on April 17th to be delivered to our hotel on May 4th in Cape Town the last stop on our trip. They had 17 days to get our bag to Cape Town. Unfortunately it arrived at our hotel after we left to return to the US. We called LF upon arrival and were told our bag had arrived in Cape Town customs. So we called Customs in Cape Town who said our bag was not there. Each day we called LF. Each day they said it was a customs problem. I would have believed LF if our bag had been returned to us in a timely manner. But it took another 6 weeks to get our bag back. We do know that our bag had a wonderful 8 weeks on the road and took a pretty good beating along the way. We were informed by the company that it went on a cruise ship, that it was lost a few times, and visited our hotel in Cape Town twice after we left and arrived back with 10 stickers and some lovely magic marker writing that can't be removed. During our many conversations with LF, it became clear that LF had no idea who had it or where it was. The management team showed no concern for our inconvenience especially when the bag was out of their control, which it always is since they use many different shipping organizations. They did not feel that they owed us any compensation, for clothes, original shipping or the condition the bag arrived back in. On the positive side, the CSR's tried to be helpful but had very little information. We escalated and the executive staff were no better. They (LF) are very clear in their material that they don't have any control over Customs. However, in our case Cape Town customs said they didn't have the bag or have any delays. LF had 17 days to get the bag to South Africa. I would suggest LF probably didn't send the bag out early enough and scrambled from there on. They have no control over the carriers they use or know exactly where the bag is in any given point in time. I think the leadership team needs to re-evaluate their logistics, their escalation process, and responsiveness to customers in distress. Finally, I don't think they were truthful during this process. I would never recommend this company.

I called luggage forward to confirm they would pickup the luggage in my San Francisco flat two flights up, and they assured me “no problem”. When the pickup arrived, they reneged and I had to help with my 78year old back carrying two 50lbs. luggage.

We live in remote area and were surprised that the service was there to pick up luggage exactly when arranged. Tracking the luggage to destination was comforting and the luggage, in good condition, was waiting for us where promised. What else could we wish for?

The web site claims that their agent will pick up the luggage in the cruise terminal. The site also implies that they work with several cruise lines. Not true. In this case I was with Holland America Lines. I was informed by the ship to leave the Luggage Forward shipping tag on the luggage and all will be taken care of. Not true. When disembarking from the cruise, we *happened to notice our luggage was set aside near the exit. I was informed by the ground crew that I had to take the luggage all the way out of the cruise terminal to the street, where the Luggage Forward agent *should be waiting. I was on a tight schedule to get to the airport. I had to take our luggage all the way out to the street and presumably *leave it there. I asked around on the street and found the unidentified agent who was fortunately there. I later found the voice-mail left by the agent notifying me that he would be present on the street. He said that he would have a sign identifying himself. He did not have it. There was NO information from Luggage Forward about the luggage upon disembarkation. Everything about the return delivery was by pure luck. I do not do business with companies on pure luck. I will not use luggage forward again.

Great pick up and delivery. Website was easy to use. Modifying an order is a bit challenging. I could not modify the order and ended up paying for a second order. Your staff successfully reimbursed me for the second order.
