My wife was taking a solo trip, domestic, and her age and a physical issue would make it difficult/impossible for her to get through two airports if she had to drag a suitcase along. After my husband's declining ability to walk on a recent trip, I arranged to have most of our luggage shipped back from our Viking cruise. The process was very easy and the three bags arrived home 4 days after we did. This is a very expensive service (the price is the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars) but overall a terrific option. In fact, if it were cheaper I would use them regularly.
I love the concept of Luggage Forward and have shipped on three occasions. However, on the last one, the suitcase actually got there too fast. That is a problem if it gets home before I do. Fortunately, we were home by the second attempt.

The process is simple and easy and I liked the tracking tag along with email updates. The bag arrived promptly in good condition to my ship stateroom. I did not like the packing restrictions for liquids and powders which forced me to pack two extra bags to take with me thus negating my need for this service. I have a lot of supplements to take like protein powder, etc.
Pick up was on time. No delays.
This was the first time utilizing this service. The only slight modification to this service was a one gour delay in picking up the luggage, which unfortunately, aused us to change the pickup location from our home to the local FedEx office due to scheduling conflicts. Zero issues, all went well and if needed in the future, i would utilize this service again.
You took the anxiety of luggage and overseas travel away! What a joy not to worry about luggage. And it was delivered when you said it would be.

One thing that can be improved is we shipped internationally, and regularly got piecemeal requests (like 4 different customer service requests from 4 different reps). MUCH better to have 1 rep assigned to you and have that 1 rep tell you in the beginning what documents they need vs every few days a fresh request...
