Nov 22,2024Our first booking (but not our last) on Luxury Escapes, a 10 day foodie trip in Vietnam. Super happy with all arrangements, from the airport meet and greet through to the quality of the coach transport. 5 star hotels were as described and we have no hesitation in recommending them. Our guide (Long) was extraordinary. He was knowledgeable and helpful, super polite and established a really great rapport with the group and helped us join together from a bunch of strangers. We felt it would have been better if he had been able to join us at the dinners ( it was a Michelin-star tour) ; we had such a good rapport with him we all felt as if we were leaving him out. He worked very hard and is clearly a real credit to the company; we would love to choose a tour with him leading it again. Our only suggestion is that the quality of information coming from LE is not great. We would have liked to see the itinerary in one place (most of us printed parts of it out, but often people werent up to speed with what was happening a day or two out until the guide explained it.). Long was amazing in getting us through the chaos of Hanoi airport- we couldnt have done it without him.

Fraser organised everything with 2 airlines and also managed to book specific seat requests for my son and I in the same row as my parents. Nov 20,2024Luxury Escapes FALSLEY ADVERTISED & MISREPRESENTED 'FAULTY TOWERS' We paid $7,249 for 10 days staying in a very run down Villa at PRASANA BY ARJANI RESORT which we nicknamed FAULTY TOWERS! Luxury Escapes falsley advertised this property on their website using old photos. The restaurant was full of flies during service, the rooms & furniture had mold, the service was average & the staff insisted we pay cash for services instead of putting it on the bill!! We contacted Luxury Escapes with detailed photos and information after our stay & their comments were 'we have let the resort know and as a goodwill gesture you can have a free 1 hr massage & dinner for 2' We strongly feel the property was falsely misrepresented in the Luxury Escapes advertisement. The product & service did not match the description given in the LE advertisement & promotional advertisements. We paid $7249.00 up front & 6 months in advance to Luxury Escapes& we did not get what we paid for?
