Dec 08,2022Schon der erste Kontakt mit dem Casemanager war von Anfang an bestens! Alle Fragen wurden beantwortet und es war ihr keine Frage zu viel! Außerdem wurde auch bei Bedarf alles nach meinen Wünschen geändert/angepasst! Vor meiner Reise nach Istanbul habe ich per Email einen genauen Tagesablauf erhalten und auch eine Info mit Fotos von den Taxifahrern und zuständigen Krankenschwestern. Alle Unterlagen konnte ich vorab per Email durchlesen. Dort angekommen habe ich den Taxifahrer am vereinbarten Platz gefunden. Er brachte mich zum Hotel dass genau der Beschreibung entsprach und er ging erst als ich sicher eingecheckt habe! Die Kommunikation mit meiner zuständigen Krankenschwestern erfolgte umgehend. Sie schrieb mir wann ich vom Taxi wieder abgeholt und ins Krankenhaus gefahren werde. Alle Vereinbarungen wurden während des ganzen Aufenthalts eingehalten. Die zuständige Krankenschwester habe ich sofort im Krankenhaus Eingang angetroffen. Wir haben nochmal den Ablauf besprochen und sind dann in mein (Einzel-) Zimmer. Das Personal auf dieser Station ist sehr freundlich einfühlsam und professionell! Nach einem Check up kam der zuständige Arzt. Er nahm sich Zeit, das vorherige OP Ergebnis anzuschauen und war - wie ich - zufrieden! Wir haben alles besprochen und nach kurzer Zeit wurde ich in den OP gebracht. Dort war das Personal auch freundlich und bereitete alles rasch her. Später bin ich im Zimmer wieder aufgewacht. Immer wieder kam Personal um nach mir zu sehen, Medikamente zu geben und Essen und Trinken. Auch Laufen wurde geübt, der Katheter entfernt und Verbände neu gemacht. Den Arzt und die zuständige Krankenschwester kamen regelmäßig um nach mir zu sehen. Von Dienstag bis Freitag war ich im Hotel. Immer in Kontakt mit einer Krankenschwester, die jeden Tag nach mir sah. Medikamente wurden von der Apotheke ins Zimmer gebracht. Frühstück gab es jeden Morgen in einem bestimmten Zeitkorridor, Abendessen konnte ich mir liefern lassen. Am Donnerstag wurde ich zum Check up ins Krankenhaus gefahren. Der Arzt war zufrieden und am Freitag konnte ich nach Hause fliegen. Ich fühlte mich während des ganzen Aufenthalts sicher und der Service war besser als letztes Jahr! Ich kann Mcan Health nur empfehlen 💕

Dec 06,2022They planned out everything, leaving me without any stress or concerns. The team responds fast and the communication was great. I must say that the signing part was a but too fast for me. I would recommend to send the document before the surgery to the patient, so they have time to read the lines. I think I would like it have my own time to read it carefully, but luckily everything went fine. After my surgery, the nurses visited me daily and answered my questions. They even helped me with recommendations for exploring Istanbul :). I won't mention names to respect their privacy, but I want to thank the nurses for their help, the way they took care of me and I even felt like they were my friends (I felt very comfortable). Thank you Mcan, this experience was truly great and I'm happy with how everything was done for me.

Dec 06,2022Hello, I'm from America, so I hope that this review will help those of you that (like me) will be flying 10+ hours to Turkey to get your hair transplant from McCan - It was a FANTASTIC experience. Yes, it's a long flight. Yes, it's a foreign language/country. But oh boy, do they take good care of you. The #1 best part? - The staff. SO patient, straightforward, and efficient. If I were to offer any advice - don't worry, sit back, and let them work their magic. The facilities are clean and pleasing, and not too far away from the hotel. And the night after the surgery - it's not even that bad. I slept pretty well honestly. And I didn't even have the red splotches that I was afraid I might have. 🙂 10/10 experience. Thank you SO MUCH McCan.

Dec 05,2022Habe vor ca 4. Wochen ein Mommy make over durchführen lassen. Ich sagte vor der OP- Besprechung, dass ich in der Brust die große 370cc oder 400cc möchte. Am Ende hatte ich 330cc. Okay, dies habe ich dann so hingenommen ohne was zu sagen, fand es aber nicht in Ordnung denn ICH entscheide welche Implantate ich in meiner Brust möchte und nicht der Arzt. Nach der OP ging es mir nicht gut, hatte Fieber und weiteres.. alles was gesagt wurde ist : "it's normal". Bis ich dann zwei Bluttransfusionen erhalten habe, Stunden danach ging es mir dann zum Glück besser. Laut dem Arzt habe ich während der OP viel Blut verloren, da Frage ich mich, wieso ich dann nicht direkt im Anschluss Blutkonserven erhalten habe. Meine Deutschsprachige Betreuerin habe ich nach Übergabe des Geldes nicht noch einmal gesehen. Alle anderen konnten nur ( wenn überhaupt) Englisch. Kommuniziert wird über Google Übersetzer. Das Smartphone wird mit den Handschuhen bedient, womit pflegerischen Maßnahmen durchgeführt werden. ( Smartphone= größte Bakterien Schleuder) mein intravenöser Zugang wurde nie mit Kochsalz durchgespült, was dazu führte, dass jeder Zugang verstopft war nicht mehr lief und ich somit ca. 8 Mal gestochen werden musste. Am Tag der Entlassung aus dem Krankenhaus ging eine Drainage kaputt. Dort war der Verschluss defekt und hat somit kein Wundwasser mehr gezogen. Ich habe im Hotel dann der Krankenschwester geschrieben, dass dies in Ordnung gebracht werden muss. Sie sagte "its normal." Somit habe ich 4-5 tagelang selber meine Drainage immer wieder fixiert damit mein Wundwasser rauskam. Ebenso hatte sie bei Entleerung den Schlauch auf den Hotelboden gelegt , somit war mein Schlauch kontaminiert und dies hätte zu schweren entzündungen führen können. Am Bauch wurde eine Bauchdeckenstraffung durchgeführt, im Oberbauch hatte ich so starke Schwellungen, dass ich ein Bauch Kissen kriegen musste - dies musste ich mir 50€ extra zahlen. Ebenso wurde eine kostenfreie Lymphmassage durchgeführt, als sie das zweite Mal kam sagte sie dies kostet nun 100€... Sie hat ca 15min massiert , dies ist sogar in Deutschland um einiges günstiger 😂. Nun... Ob ich zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis bin kann ich noch nicht sagen.. es sieht so aus als wäre an den Hüften noch sehr viel fett , was eigentlich bei der liposuction abgesaugt werden sollte, ob dies noch verschwindet werden wir sehen. Gemeldet vom Nachsorge Team hat sich auch noch keiner. Ich habe niemanden vorher gesagt , dass ich Krankenschwester bin, somit sind mir diese ganzen sachen aufgefallen, die nicht in Ordnung waren. Als Souvenir aus der Türkei habe ich noch Corona mitgebracht aber dafür kann keiner was. Tat nur höllisch weh - mit der großen Bauchnarbe zu Husten. Eigentlich wollte ich im nächsten Jahr meine Nase dort noch richten lassen aber dafür werde ich mir jemand anderen suchen. NACHTRAG : nun hat der social Media Kanal mein vorher nachher Bild OHNE meine Zustimmung veröffentlicht, auf denen ich unschwer zu erkennen bin. Nach ausdrücklicher bitte es zu löschen, wurde mir versichert dass es gelöscht wurde. Die Bilder sind leider immernoch für jeden einsehbar und jegliche Nachrichten meinerseits werden ignoriert. Mcanhealth ist an unseriösitat nicht zu überbieten.

Nov 22,2022I chose MCAN Health For My Teeth Implants and My Hair Transplant After Lots of Research online Over weeks and Months of research Looking through lots of different Companies that do Hair and teeth surgery in Istanbul And decided to book with MCAN Health As this was the health center that stood out from the rest online to me The booking was done through watts app and was very straight forward and professional I arrived in Istanbul and was picked up by a friendly English speaking driver to go to the hotel The Driver picked me up the next day to take me to MCAN for my Dental treatment The staff were very friendly and professional when I arrived and throughout my dentistry treatment From start to finish with a great Dentistry team very professional throughout And could all speak good english I had 11 implants And a bone graft 2 days later I was picked up again and taken for my hair transplant When I arrived I was greeted by my first name which is a nice touch The hair transplant procedure was straight forward and felt no pain throughout the procedure I had 3750 grafts done And all done again professionaly by the hair transplant team I will be returning in 3 months time For the rest of my dental implants to be finished as this is normal procedure For implants So far very happy with the treatment I have had done I wait about 8 months to see the final results of my hair transplant And see the finished Dentistry of my implants in 3 months when I go back When all done I will write another review of the final treatment of my hair and teeth So far I am very happy with the treatment I have had done by the team And there friendly service at MCAN Health I recommend MCAN For there friendly service And there professional teams.

Nov 15,2022I could not speak higher of this clinic, they have completely changed my life, Everything about my experience with Mcan Health was absolutely perfect, from the very first contact right up until the last drop off at the airport, they look after everything for you, from pick ups and drop offs, to checking you in at your hotel, They even provide a customer experience specialist who is your point of contact for all questions and worries , who was brilliant All the staff are extremely friendly, and made me feel really comfortable, everything was explained in great detail, i done a lot of research into different clinics and I picked Mcan Health, i can clarify this was the best decision, I could not recommend them any higher

Nov 11,2022Acabo de realizarme mi cirugía reconstructiva con MCan tras una gran pérdida de peso (abdominoplastia, braquioplastia y mastopexia con aumento) y estoy encantada. Desde la fase de contacto e información con mi asesor en España Alper, hasta el alta tras la cirugía me he sentido asesorada y acompañada en todo momento. Las enfermeras tanto en el hospital como en el hotel son lo mejor del mundo, y el cirujano hizo un trabajo magnífico conmigo. En general todo el personal ha sido un 10.

Nov 11,2022I am of turkish origin and felt confident flying to Turkey to get surgery. However, I ended up having a nightmare experience. The whole journey with Mccan was a nightmare from beginning to end. It started with them forgetting to pick me up from the airport, blaming it on a system error and turning up 1 1/2 hours late. The day of the surgery, the driver turned up half an hour late again. I was the one who then had to pay for this mistake as Buse (cr person) then rushed me trough the paperwork and made me sign everything without reading it, saying the surgeon and his team were waiting in theatre and we had to rush or the surgery would be cancelled. I read nond of it and signed all of it. In hindsight, I should have refused to sign anything without reading. It would have taken me at least 45 minutes to read through all of it. She then asked me to hand over the money for the surgery. They had told me prior, that they needed patients to pay in cash. I told her to count the money but she said no, there was no time and it would be fine. I told her there was £5000 there and asked if she didn't need to sign for it. She said no. When I then got out of surgery, one of the first things they said to me, whilst i was still totally dazed, that there was £380 missing and made me pay that on my credit card. I had counted the cash several times beforehand, and there was £5000 in cash. No question about it. There is no way there was any money missing. After my surgery, upon arriving back home, I realised they had actually charged me an extra £950 om my credit card, whilst I was under the influence of all the post surgery medication and anasthesia, and now they claim the cash I gave them was nearly £1000 short. The cash was very obviously stolen by the member of staff I gave it to. Whilst I was still under influence of all the painkillers and anaesthesia, they walked me downstairs to charge me this money, I hardly recall any of it. They recently sent me a picture of the handwritten note, to prove I signed it. The customer care lady literally had to spell out to me, what to write, whilst i was totally out of it and still in my surgicalgown. I asked if I could write the notes, sign and pay once I was feeling a bit better as I didn't feel comfortable writing the note and paying in the state I was in and she said 'no, I am afraid we have to do it right now. Otherwise you cannot go back to the hotel'. On the day before I returned back to the UK, I had my final check up. I was supposed to be taken to the hotel by one of their taxis straight after. I was made to wait 1 1/2 hours for the taxi as they had a 'shortage of drivers'. Upon arriving back in the UK, 3 weeks later, my right breast got severely infected. My GP here put me on a 3 week course of antibiotics and asked that I find out from mccan, as soon as possible, why my stitches still haven't dissolved, what type of stitches they are exactly, and if they are OK to be removed. I contacted mccan nearly. It took them two days to get back to me Avoid this company at all cost. A thieve on the team, stealing cash, making me sign documents and large payments, whilst still dazed from surgery and anaesthesia, incompetent, slow customer relationships managers, overworked nurses and extremely delayed after care. The nurse only contacted me, once I sent an emsil to the customer service department. 2 days after the fact! If you value your health and your sanity, AVOID at all cost. When I said I was going to write reviews everywhere I could, the insinuated it was defamation and that I should be careful of the consequences. They are lucky this did not happen in Europe, where I would have most certainly sued them. Update in response to your reply: you people are really absolutely unbelievable. Bunch of cowboys. At first they said they would refund the money they overcharged me on my credit card, but never did. Let alone the cash that was stolen. I should concentrate on my recovery? I laughed so hard. No thanks to you.Your aftercare is not existent. Please do not try to lecture me on UK law. Sort out your dodgy, thieving operations first. These countless fake positive reviews, submitted by your staff are the icing on the cake 🎂 With 9 negative reviews removed from trustpilot in the last 12 months alone.

Oct 21,2022*Update after 15 months* I am very happy with the results of the first transplant. The hair has grown back thick and healthy and looks amazing. There is still about 30% numbing on my recipient area but no pain, itching, soreness etc. Also, there is a chicken skin appearance to the follicles in the recipient area but can only noticed when touching it. Original review below… ——————————————————— Taxi's: The taxi drivers were amazing. Hotel: The Dedeman Gayrettepe hotel (provided by MCAN) is around £60/70 per night for a double room. It’s a fair price for this hotel. Some rooms are better than others. Customer service/communication: The patient contact person was brilliant. She speaks very good English and makes sure you feel comfortable, always answering any questions and checking up on you to make sure you’re ok. She was also present at the clinic and came to check on me two or three times during the procedure to see if I was happy. Clinic: The clinic is in a private building in a residential area. It has a nice, clean reception area. Staff: All staff (drivers, patient contact, doctor, and technicians) are very friendly and smiley people. They all make you feel at ease and seem to be genuinely nice people. Process: First you will sign the usual disclaimer forms in reception. Then the doctor will draw a hairline on your head with pen. After this, you will go downstairs to the operating room and have your hair shaved and washed. Then a technician will fit you with an IV and take your blood to check for HIV and Hepatitis (they cannot operate if you test positive for these). After this, a technician will administer local anaesthetic with about 10 needles into the back of your scalp (donor area). Then, two technicians will harvest your donor area. Once they are finished, you will have lunch. Then you will have 10 needles of anaesthetic in the top of your head (recipient area). Then, the Doctor will make the incisions in the top of your head before two technicians implant the donor hairs into your recipient area. Your head will be bandaged and you will be given medication before returning back to the hotel. Hair Transplant experience (4,500 grafts): When I went down to the procedure room, I was fairly nervous because the technicians seemed quite young. The technician taking my blood, used a glove as a tourniquet which seemed a little primitive, even though I appreciate it did the job. The cannula he fitted was a bit painful throughout the operation and I also heard a patient in the next room complaining of the same discomfort. The anaesthetic needles were extremely painful but I think this is normal for the scalp area. The actual transplant itself was not painful at all. I was concerned about hygiene/contamination during the procedure because some of the male technicians kept coming into the room and speaking/joking around with the technicians operating on me without wearing masks or gloves. They were speaking/laughing very close to my scalp with no masks on and I worried about the risk of potentially infectious saliva getting into my bloodstream. The technicians working on me were wearing masks and gloves, it was just the guys that came in to have chats every now and then that were not wearing them. The Doctor was only present to make the recipient area incisions and came back into the treatment room to check on the technicians once or twice during the procedure, however I think this is normal protocol for this type of procedure. At points I felt like the technicians were worrying about something while they were implanting the grafts but I couldn’t understand what they were saying, so I may be wrong about this. Aftercare: The patient contact has been very communicative since I have returned home. She is checking up on me and making sure that everything is going well. Results after 2 weeks: Overall, I am happy with the results so far, hence the 4 star review. The hairline has a good shape and coverage seems even. The hairs in my recipient area are still the ones from my donor area at this stage. These are all due to fall out within the next few weeks and new hairs will hopefully grow back over the next few months. I cannot comment on how successful this hair transplant will be in the future as I am only 2 weeks in at this point. Summary: I think MCAN are a good clinic and the staff are good people with expertise in hair transplant surgery. I do think MCAN could benefit from having more stringent regulations on mask and glove wearing when entering treatment rooms.

Oct 20,2022I had the best experience with Mcan health from start to finish. From the get go I was in contact with Kerem one of the case managers who was very helpful in terms of discussing what procedure I would have and the whole process of booking and letting me know what was included. His response times were very quick and when I wanted him to call because id rather speak on the phone he always picked up the phone. If there was ever a moment he was too busy he would always apologise and keep me informed about his schedule. When arriving in Instanbul everything went smoothly , one of their drivers picked me up from the airport and I had no problems in finding him. Transfers were including in the price all throughout my stay so airport pickup and drop offs and transfers between hospital appointments. I was accommodated at a lovely 5* hotel also. Day of surgery everything went very well, the whole process was very informative in the hospital and Bengu the patient experience specialist I had was very helpful talked me through things. I was also able to bring a friend along with me which helped a lot as she was able to stay with me in the hospital and at the hotel which made a big difference as it can be quite scary going for surgery on your own. I wasn’t able to eat as I was fasting. But Bengu was kind enough to take my friend for food! The surgeon and his assistance was lovely and made me feel very comfortable, I had no fears in going down for surgery as I could see I was in good hands. All the hospital staff were amazing ! I was only in the hospital for one day and after that I was transferred back to my hotel were the nurses Yasmiene and Çağla visited me everyday to check I was okay and change my dressings. They are the loveliest nurses , so helpful polite and friendly and took great care of me. If I was to ever go back to mcan health for surgery again I’d specifically be asking for these two nurses as they take great pride in what they do. Not only were they helpful in terms of my surgery, but they also helped tell me where all the good shopping centres were , we were also having trouble ordering food online one day because of the language barrier and they was kind enough to order food for me and my friend. Even after I didn’t need any more assistance from them I still met them in the lobby some days and invited them up to my room and chatted with them and they checked on me even when they didn’t need to anymore. They went above and beyond and they made my whole experience a 10/10! Overall I have nothing bad to say about my experience with Mcan health it was a straight forward process. Response times were good , information was clear and staff was so friendly and helpful so I highly recommend Mcan health! 😊😊😊

Oct 18,2022I did a lot of research, spending hours looking at reviews and clinics for surgery. I came across MCAN. This is a genuine review because I want people to know about my experience and perhaps this review could help you reach a conclusion. Surgery isn’t anything to be taken lightly.it’s nerve racking and after all you have to trust the person whose going to be putting you under the knife!! So my experience genuinely was a great one. No hic ups. Picked up at the airport. Translators.right from the word go…. Drivers such a Burhan, a dish and a genuine kind person, right to my case worker NURHAN, to my nurses, KATIJA, DILAN, CHALA …YASMINE.. to my Co ordinator BENGU…. To of course my amazing plastic surgeon- Dr D ALHAN. (A handsome, honest amazing surgeon) They all put me at ease, they we’re caring beyond my expectations. You’d think I was on commission but honestly I couldn’t fault them. They all made this process so easy. I know I was in safe hands. An amazing team. So whatever you’re thinking of having done… don’t hesitate!

Dec 08,2022Meine Erfahrung mit MCAN Health war erstaunlich. Ich hatte eine Haartransplantation und meine Frau eine Halsstraffung. Der Service war großartig. Es ist 8 Monate her und ich bin bereits mit meinen Ergebnissen zufrieden. Ich empfehle diese Klinik auf jeden Fall weiter.
