Oct 14,2022Was very nervous before arriving to Istanbul….but the whole procedure ended with a service that was fantastic. Meet with the MCAN team and there were marvellous….couldn’t fault the service one bit. My special thanks to the nurses…absolute angles in disguise who looked after my needs, and a massive thanks to the coordinator who meet me at the hospital prior to my procedure. Absolutely recommend the MCAN team. 👍

Hence, I did my research based on the basic qualifications needed by a clinic to acquire to be qualified to do surgeries on a person My review is based on the guideline provided by the ISAPS & UK parliament advice to individuals who seek medical operations abroad. I will leave the following points for those who decide to choose your clinic for their surgeries. Naturally, every person should do their own research before taking any risk. About the Qualifications & Standards:MCAN Health clinic is one of the very few aesthetic organizations in Turkey which is certified by TEMOS international.About the Consumer's Reviews:MCAN Health has achieved 1,192 reviews on Trustpilot which is quite above the industry average. More importantly, by responding to dissatisfied customers individually by the brand is noteworthy.About the Doctors of the Center:MCAN Health is one of the aesthetic centers in Turkey that displays the name of its doctors publicly on its website. It is policy to build trustable relationships with the consumers.About the Infection rate:No specific data is released about the infection rate of the previous patients. It is suggested that new customers ask for the information from the center.About the English language skills of the surgeons:-Every consumer should authenticate that their specific doctors are able to understand and speak English. Because doctors with English language abilities are rare in Turkey.

Oct 08,2022When I went to MCAN to receive a hair transplant, I was quite nervous at the start as it was a new experience but the staff made me feel so at ease, they were very friendly and made sure that I, as a patient, was comfortable and not feeling any pain during the procedure. Also the taxi drivers were very friendly and got me to the appointments on time. I would recommend them to anyone who is ever thinking of getting a hair transplant and the service was excellent

Oct 07,2022Die Krankenschwestern waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Der Transport wurde sehr gut organisiert. Man muss sich um nichts selber kümmern. Du wirst vom Flughafen abgeholt und ab da immer von einer Krankenschwester begleitet und auch nach deinem Krankenhausaufenthalt noch im Hotel weiter betreut. Der Arzt war sehr erfahren und leistete sehr gute Arbeit. TOP!

The staff and my surgeon in particular spent enough time with me making sure I had clear instruction of what was to happen with my procedure. I was made to feel at ease and would highly recommended!

Oct 01,2022I was feeling nervous and anxious about the procedure, however from start to finish I was treated perfectly. From being collected at the airport by the friendly driver, this really put me at ease. On arrival to clinic I was met by a very friendly lady, I felt at ease instantly. The surgeon also put me to ease with her light hearted attitude. I was prepped and taken into the treatment room. I was then greeted by a super friendly and professional team, who looked after me. The whole procedure took around 8 hours from walking in to walking out and that 8 hours went by fast due to the attentiveness of the team and their friendly attitude. Pain was managed extremely well and checked regularly. As a whole I’m over joyed with the entire experience and would highly recommended anyone who is thinking of having a hair transplant to talk to Mcan. I cannot recommend enough!

Sep 29,2022I had my hair transplant successfully done from Longevita and they had given me a fantastic deal for Rhinoplasty. It was my biggest mistake to get carried away with the reviews on Mcan and I decided to go with Mcan at a more expensive quote. Longevita were very busy and didn't have my choice of date available for the surgery. I am not surprised why Mcan had all the dates available for the surgery and they offered me my choice of date. They quoted in Euros and charged higher exchange rate in Turkey to rip me off. Other company was honest and collected the cost at a fair exchange rate in the UK only. Longevita's quote was far cheaper and included all the medicine cost whereas Mcan again ripped me off and overcharged for the medicines in Turkey. I would not have regretted if surgery was successful. Dr Aykut performed surgery with none results. Mcan is asking me to contact Doctor direct to sort out their mess. They even offered another surgery at an additional cost. Dr Aykut is not responding. I shall not comment on how this company got these positive reviews but I wish you all the best if you choose to go with them. I am totally disgusted and aghast with Mcan's incompetency.

Sep 23,2022MCAN was a life changing experience with very friendly staff that made me feel welcome every step of the way from the minute I landed in Istanbul to when I went home. I went on my own for a hair transplant but they made sure I didn’t feel uncomfortable every step of the way, they have given me back my confidence and I feel better as a person and I can’t thank them enough for that, it’s an experience I will never forget!

Sep 22,2022I'm from uk and travelling to turkey was daunting but I settled in My journey started with mcan 2 years ago when started looking into hair transplant, however covid happend and I forgot about it. This year I looked into it again and mcan kept coming up so I done my research and made contact. Frm the beginning they was amazing very informative friendly and not pushy. They assisted with every inquiry and was available almost 24/7 After around a month of talking to the care co ordinator and getting prices I was happy with, a WhatsApp video call was arranged directly with my surgeon professor dogan alhan. I felt confident with his work because he had previously been a reconstructive military surgeon and found his niche in cosmetic surgery. I told him I wanted hair transplant along with revisionary rhinoplasty, and from the beginning he was very honest and wasn't pushy,infact he insisted I concentrate on what is my prime concern which was my nose and suggested that maybe I have the hair done next year as he didn't want to pose too much trauma. I agreed. I was given my dates and I arranged my flights ( at this point sept 12th 2022 ) I was picked up from the airport in Istanbul by a driver and escorted to the hospital to have my bloods done then to my hotel. The next day I met with my health care co ordinator, my surgeon and his assistant. We drew up a plan and arranged surgery for the following day. I then was taken to the hospital to have other test incl heart trace and x-rays to check i was fit for proceedure. After that my health care co ordinator dilan took me for a meal ( her treat ) it was amazing and really I started to feel at ease. I was picked up 15th and taken to my own hospital room, again my health care co ordinator was there my surgeon his assistant and another surgeon. With in an hour I was in theatre I woke up feeling fine and the hospital staff are very helpful. Following day 16th I was picked up and took back to my hotel room to recover. Secondary rhinoplasty Endoscopic brow lift Lip lift Recovery was fine I had black eyes and swelling but after a few days of taking medication and supplements everything started to Settle If I needed anything I had help at hand. Prescriptions delivered to my room. By day 5 I was taken to see my surgeon for removal of dressing etc After this , again my health care co ordinator arranged for me to be taken back to my hotel and at 8pm she picked me up and again took me to a beautiful part of instanbul for a lovely meal it was amazing! The nxt day I was discharged and allowed back home Professor alhan. - amazing honest friendly, knows what his doing and also a funny guy, abit of a joker, gives honest opinion, no pressure tried his best ☺️ His assistant ( can't remember her name ) lovely always smiling helpful friendly beautiful The owner of the company ( can't remember her name ) Lovely friendly lady makes you feel welcome, along with her adminstration team 😊 Halil mcan co-ordintaor fantastic friendly very helpful always available a really lovely guy who goes beyond to help. wonderful 😊 Bengu health care coordinator Lovely friendly, helpful, caring informative beautiful Dilan my health care co ordinator Absolutely brilliant so lovely a beautiful nature always smiling very informative will go above and beyond for you, assisted me with everything from day 1 of arriving and built up a friendship with her. Always available understanding caring just adorable plus she fed me food which is always a bonus 🤣 beautiful soul I lover her I will be going back to mcan in the future. Always do your research into the companies first. I met many people who are using mcan and are extremely satisfied with the service provided Note this is a GENUINE REVIEW I was reluctant reading reviews before hand as you never know what's genuine but I can honestly say they followed though Great stuff 🙂🙂🙂

Sep 19,2022Hair transplant procedure: Approachable and confident staffs. The Doctor is very considerate to increase the number of grafts upon my request with no further negotiations (case to case basis). Good skills with the entire procedure from anesthesia injections, harvesting grafts, opening channel, transplantation, PRP and aftercare! I must say that the staffs did not rushed on their duties which made me feel very satisfied. The Doctor did not rush her time with me upon completing the opening channel procedure, and ensure that i am well anaesthetised. The two nurses who looked after me are very hardworking too and they did not rush in completing the harvesting and transplanting the hair follicles. Post op: Doctor, Nurses and Associates are very attentive and supportive especially on my post op. I usually swell up after surgery as i can’t take anti-inflammatory meds. The nurses have got initiative to serve me with cold compress and make me less anxious. On my final wash day, the nurse thought that im quite sore than expected. So he took initiative to call the senior nurse and the Doctor to check on it. The Doctor applied topical antibiotics to reduce risk of infection throughout my flight, with good outcome. I felt really supported throughout as they took ownership of responsibility and ensure i am well looked after. Communication: english translator on site on my first day face to face consultation, which is for me is very improtant. So therefore, i really felt comfortable and confident that my thoughts were passed across. Clinic: the clinic is clean and stress free. Transport: MCAN drivers are professional, and i must say that all my pick ups were all ON TIME, given Taksim is super busy, which is a good bonus.

Sep 12,2022Could not recommend Mcan enough. Especially Dilara & Bengu. Both Dilara (assigned nurse) and Bengu (patient experience specialist), were amazing. They were so welcoming and so kind the whole way through. Any issues I had, I could go to them. From when I landed, right up until my final day they were always there for me. Surgery can be a scary experience so I’m grateful that they removed any worries and doubts. I actually had so much fun. 5/5
