I always use Merit Tyre Little Chalfont as I have found them to be completely trustworthy. They don't try to sell things that are not needed and, shock horror, they even re-fixed my heat shield for no charge. I notice, unlike other companies, the wheel nuts are always tightened using a torque wrench, which is good practice. They offer good service, which is why they always seem busy.
Used Merityre , Marlow for the first time a few days ago. Very impressed by the helpful and honest customer service. I ordered two expensive tyres for my car to replace one damaged and one slow puncture. They noticed that the slow puncture was only a faulty valve and just charged nominal fee for that. I know of at least one national tyre fitting company that would have happily sold me an expensive tyre I didn't need! Very impressed and will use again.
Terrible service, avoid! Was first in the queue on Saturday morning at 8.00am and was told it was 30-35 mins to fit tyres. Came back 30 mins later and they hadn't even started on it... No apology either.
I will keep this as brief as possible. Had a fair amount of work done to my car (including new tyres, spring and tracking). It was not completed properly. One month later it all needed redoing because my fiesta sound like a truck. They did do it for free. Contacted by a member of the team to talk about what happened, he appeared remotely interested. Voicemail was left by him. Tried to contact him again, no luck. Gave up in the end.
I had a problem with my tyre pressure and valve light going off, I took the car to Merityre at 1710 tonight where I was served right away by I of the staff(David Fernandez). he took the car into the shop floor took off the tyre wheel and then showed me what the fault was with the valve and sensor. he also gave me some good advice and then proceeded to carry out a tyre valve change, this was all done within 25 minutes. This service was not only excellent but done with a professional attitude, that even at this time of day proves that some companies have good staff that shine whilst doing a small job that to the customer is a problem. Yesterday morning I found myself in the position whereby I needed to replace all four tyres on my car. I booked and paid for the new replacement tyres on-line and I also booked to have the new tyres fitted at home. Because I was unsure the tyres I wanted were the correct ones to fit my car, I called the Merit Tyres telephone number published on the website before placing my order. I spoke to Sarah who could not have been more helpful. This lady really went the extra mile by ordering the tyres I wanted, arranging for them to be delivered the next day and for them to be fitted at my home address on the day of delivery if delivered early enough. Sarah called me back to let me know the on-line order had been received and she called me the following day to let me know the tyres had been delivered and to let me know a fitter would be in touch to fit the tyres. Within a hour I had a call from Mark to let me know he was on his way to my address. Mark did a first class job fitting the new tyres as well as checking my car for signs of damage before refitting the wheels. Sometimes the words thank you never seem to be enough, but Sarah and Mark helped me when when I really needed help. I'm very grateful to both of them for what they did for me. When I need replacement tyres in the future I will be using Merit Tyre again.
The guys at Merityre in Kingston were efficient and courteous. I had no trouble at all with the process of buying online and going in two days later, where the tyres were quickly fitted and I was away. I would use Merityre again.
I’ve used merit tyres a few times now and am very impressed with the price, knowledge, and attitude of all the staff at their purley depot , they are a cracking bunch of lads , if there is any thing I have to knock them for is it’s a bit of a wait , but to be honest , slow and sure , not rush and regret , so at least I know my tyres are fitted properly , a big thanks also for checking my tracking drives bang on now ! Worst customer service from the rudest people. Completely wasted my time. Called to book in for tyres, arrived at the time to get said tyres to be told he sold them earlier. Wasn’t even offered another tyre and the staff were so rude and intimidating (lone female) I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Not even worth 1 star but can review without
We will never use Merityre Witney again. And having read an earlier review, we were told the same thing about the tyre being beyond repair. I wish had the foresight to take the tyre away and get it checked. It was only 2 months old. The customer service was indifferent from the beginning. They said they would order the tyre In For the next day and we were forced to leave the car with them. Knowing that I work 2 hours away and had to take a day off work and that I needed the car the next day, they said it would be ready. By mid morning having heard nothing we called and were made to feel like it may or may not get done. Later in the day after they called for us to collect, the guy behind the counter was quite rude and said it doesn't get there any quicker by calling. Honestly if he had said that to me, I would not have been so polite as my partner. Customer service, they really have no idea what that looks like. How in this day and age they are still in business is beyond me but it probably explains why on both visits there were no other customers. Never again!
Merityre Little Chalfont made my day! Not only do they have excellent customer service, very efficient and friendly but unbeknown to me they put my name in a draw with Continental Tyres.I had two new tyres and amazingly my name was drawn and I received a cheque back for the full amount. I was at Bookham merit tyres . Have to say staff very friendly..didn't get your names but all of you are gems...a credit to the company.. New exhaust very good service. Mine fell off and now cant even hear it... No rattling or blowing... Thank you guys 100% will be back for tyres nx .. X
Charged £45 just to fit 2 tyres to new alloy wheels. Almost double the price of every other garage I've ever used! Only used merityre as open on Sunday and needed my car asap. Daylight robbery!

Marlow branch Saturday morning woke up to flat tyre managed to get booked in expecting new tyre and quite happy to pay all done and dusted for £20 First class service most places would have changed the tyre well done guys
I had a terrible experience with staff of Sunbury Merityre, particularly with supervisor of the shift who was so rude to me at first when I was choosing a new back tyre for my Audi A3. When I asked for choices I wasn't advised at all, and it seemed a hussle for him to tell me what tyres they had. When fitted, I have noticed the difference in size between new fitted tyre and my rest of the tyres, resulting my car tilted to the side. I have asked politely if the new tyre had bigger pressure than my other back tyre, having this as a reason why my car looked uneven, but instead I got the answer "they're same", even that they weren't. When I asked for a different tyre, that will look similar to the rest, I was told that it will cost me £70 more, putting a pressure on me to stay with this fitted tyre, even I wasn't happy with it, and nobody would. I do understand people come from different levels, but customer service is important. I have decided to get a refund, and asked to put my spare tyre as I wasn't happy. He called me "hard work", and laughed at me. Shocking. I'm a female by the way. After all, I went to Quickfit instead, and the difference in their service was tremendous. I will never choose Merityre again. Thanks.
After what I have just found out, I would not touch Merityre (St Johns - Woking) with a barge pole - luckily, I have recently moved to Devon. Whilst just having a puncture repaired, I found out the the two new tyres I had fitted to my car in Jan 2016, for which I was charged £355, were made in 2011! I also found out that I could get a pair of mid-range tyres for the all-in price of £150 - I know the ones I had fitted were Dunlop, but this was taking the mick!

Aug 04,2018Last week i have visited merit tyre sunbury for full geometry after changing front shock absorbers,van drove perectly before the visit,after leaving the shop it started pulling to the left and was turning right on straight steering,inside of the rear tyres started wearing out after 40 miles and front left tyre started fethering,decided to have the geometry checked at FTC FELTHAM(highly recommended)the whole geometry was completely out and discovered damage to rear wheels toe bolts after one of the staff been using open ended spanner on tight/seized bolts to adjust it,i have recieved the full refund but they still denied doing anything wrong!rude and ignorant...
