I wanted to love shopping with this website, the clothes are awesome and I was willing to shop at it more often. Unfortunately, the website gives out fake information about the sizing information, and they don't consider faulty website description as a reason for a refund or exchange. My first order with them was pretty expensive and I followed the measurements given for each item of clothing. None of the items arrived even remotely close to the size that they described. It wasn't a couple of centimeters here and there, I ordered a Large and got an Extra Small. When I contacted Modakwawa they were not willing to pay for the return shipping (which from Canada to China was incredibly expensive), so I couldn't exchange the clothes. They only offered me a 30% discount for my next order, which I did, since I liked the clothes a lot and wanted to give them another chance. But this time I ordered the biggest size they had, and I still received clothes that were way too small. If you are 5.5 feet and over, I wouldn't recommend shopping there, don't trust the measurements they give out, they are not correct. You'll end up disappointed.

I love shopping on this site. There’s a huge variety of products and they have styles that I can’t find in stores where I live. The quality is good. I’ve only had a couple items become damaged after wearing them (and even then it was only small things like a ribbon falling off). The clothes ship from China, so it takes a little while to arrive, but I’ve actually found that the shipping is faster and the prices are lower than similar sites I’ve used. Definitely make sure to check the size charts before ordering, as the products don’t all the use the same sizing.

Modakawa has a wide variety of cute to amazing designs for a range of uses and products. I had bought one of the blue Chinese design hoodies and it was superb. Well done!

Easy to shop (so many cute things!), great sales, the shipping was faster than expected, and the clothes we bought (all sweaters and jackets) were expected quality —plenty durable and comfortable!

I would have given them a 5, but there are just a couple things that would make them more competitive in today’s online market. I bought several items for my daughter. I knew the sizing was different, so I ordered up in sizing and it was all fantastic. What I love is the unique styles. The shipping does take longer than expected, but I knew this was a possibility and planned accordingly. I wish there was an easier return policy, but I went in understanding I was ordering from a foreign country. If the returns were easier, we would try more items. Overall a good experience and my daughter loves the clothing and styles.

I ordered twice from this site. About 8 items in total. It ended up being a 50/50. Some of it was SO cute and worth every penny. But others were pretty bad. Cheap material, and not well-made. Recently I got the "Cross Knit Sweater Flouncing A-line Slip Dress Two Pieces Set" the pink sweater and pink "gradient" dress. The sweater? Super nice and adorable. Like the material isn't scratchy and is overall awesome. The dress is downright embarrassing. Doesn't look like the photos at all and reminds me of a cheap "fairy princess" dress at a costume store. I can kind of hide it with the sweater but man is it really ugly. The return policy is a nightmare. Unless you're willing to send the product back to China on your dime you aren't getting any money back. I ended up going through the process for the principal of the thing (after having to go back and forth a couple times just to get he address), and the mailing service said "no one was at the location to deliver to." Weird but whatever. I contact customer service and they gave me my money back after I told them what happened but this was a 3 month process by the end of it all to get the product, return it, and then get my money back. Oh and if they say it's a "20% off sale" ignore it. I've never looked at the site over a 6 month period and not seen that tag at the top. Sometimes it goes up to 25% for holiday stuff but the 20% is always there The other thing that's sketchy is they don't seem to take user reviews. Tried posting 3 reviews over a range or ratings (like 2 stars or a 5 star) with photos. And they all said "thanks for your review!" And then nothing happened. Maybe they're still reviewing it. But it's sketchy that all of their reviews on every item is "5 stars" condidering the reviews on 3rd party review sites. They might be fake or only take the 5 star reviews.

They ship worldwide, but fail to mention that the return address is in CHINA (they make sure this is not openly mentioned anywhere on their website). Of course YOU have to pay for the returns postage, which is probably more expensive than the poor quality item you paid for in the first place. Also, as the returns address is not freely available on their website, you will have to contact their customer service to get it, but they will not give it to you immediately, on no. They will first try to convince you it’s expensive and wasteful to send it back. And you’ll waste several days on trying to get the address, which means the returns period will pass before you even get to the address, which in return means you’ll not receive a refund. They purposefully make it super difficult to return your item for a refund or an exchange. Sizing is extremely poor - my skinny size 8 sister could not even button up their medium jeans! So don’t bother ordering - buy from a reliable shop based in your country with a clear returns policy.

Responded very quickly to Mails. The quality of the clothes were surprisingly good beside one mistake by the jeans (buttonhole was sewn). There was no trouble with shipping. And would recommend modakawa. 👌

Terrible. I am very pissed by customer service. My items are NOT shipped THREE WEEKS after I placed the order (they say in their website that it only takes 3-7 days). I contacted customer service to cancel the order and they DID NOT READ my inquiry. They replied saying one of the items is out of stock, and shipped PART of my order. And now I am stuck with a late package and a missing item. When I placed my order, there was no out of stock notice, and I never received any update during the three week period. Very BAD.

The items are extremely extremely cute and unique. I love all the articles I tried on. The modakawa team on email and Instagram are both incredibly kind and responsive! The sales are at great rates but overall it is pricey.
