Apr 19,2016Checked several different vendors and finally decided to purchase the torsion springs from Moving Up Garage Door Company because of the good reviews and their very user friendly website, and the tools that they provided to decide which torsion spring to use and the installation. Ordered the product on Friday, got them on Monday, and installed on Tuesday and my garage door is now back to work again. Thanks!

Apr 18,2016Phoned in first with my door dimensions & weight to ask what springs I needed (since I suspected the current ones might not be correct). The technician said my door weight seemed to high for the type of door I had... and he was right (I had forgotten to release the door opener before weighing my door). With the new weight he recommended a spring size that turned out to be exactly what had been on the door. They shipped them out that day & they arrived four days later. They worked perfectly with no issues at all during installation. The quality appears to be at least as good as the OEM part I had.

Apr 26,2016didn;t care for plastic bearing, had to look inside springs for tension bars. assembled okay door works okay. check u tube video if you haven't done this in awhile for instructions.
