Oct 08,2021I have ordered from Mr Kimchi before and the Kimchi is fantastic - even if the jars were leaking somewhat on arrival. However, second time around I received 3 jars that had a best before date of the 4th Jan 2021. I’ve attempted to reach customer service through the web chat a number of times, with no response forthcoming. UPDATE - Eventually gave up trying to get advice. Binned the Kimchi and ordered some new ones - which were fantastic. The Kimchi is great - their customer serivce is non-existent.

Sep 26,2021I looked at FAQs, it mentioned leaving the Kimchi for up to 4 days before putting in the fridge, however didn’t mention (on that particular page) it needed to be opened first. So I had assumed it would be in a sealed glass jar and I could leave it a few days. However it’s in a plastic screw top jar, and unfortunately for me fermented and leaked in the box. I contacted Mr Kimchi to ask if it will still be okay to consume and they replied by the weekend by email. I’ve learned my lesson and I hope this review reminds people to open their tubs!

Sep 12,2021I find it impossible to open the plastic jars even with the help of my wife and a jar opening tool. The only way to access the contents was to punch a hole in the lid to release the pressure. As it is not possible to open the jars how can I follow the recommendation to open the jars every few days!!!!

Aug 30,2021I had the bright idea that some kimchi would go along great with my traditional food 'sadza' and I was right! The kimchi arrived quickly, it was nicely packaged and the taste only got better as time went by. I'll be ordering again soon!

Aug 26,2021I’m a little disappointed. Last time I ordered it tasted amazing. This batch is pretty bland! The jars were all leaking and really difficult to open after fermentation, despite following the instructions.
