Feb 13,2024Signed up and got a tutor - all worked out ok Referred a friend, he used the link I sent booked and paid for a session and no reward for either of us - My tutor saying used web link when used the link I created in referral page so its a scam! Real mixed selection of tutors, takes time to get a good one

Feb 11,2024I think this is some kind of scam site or just completely lying about how they pick out the best people. I have been trying to find a tutor for my child for a month now. The first one organised lessons and then the night before, she sent a message that she had a serious illness and couldn’t tutor anymore. The second we had lined up missed the first session and then apparently got very ill with covid and cancelled twice, so we cancelled all our sessions due to unreliability. The third one, we waited twice for an intro meeting which he arranged and he didn’t show up, and didn’t even give a reason. I’m not sure what kind of people they have tutoring but I think having enquiries must add to their tutoring profiles so they rack them up and don’t even get back to potential students. As it seems really odd that 3 people would do something like this. I am deleting my account and not even bothering with this site anymore. I don’t recommend at all.

Jan 21,2024my kids have used several tutors on MyTutor.co.UK and they have all been excellent. Clear grade improvement, respectful and focused, charming and easy to get along with. Highly recomended, and the feedback systems and communication is excellent. Overall a very well organised service which is great value with real results and nice people.

Jan 11,2024Have been using this platform for 15 months now for IB tutors. I have to say that it is a very trustworthy platform. Occasionally there are minor technical glitches, but if it is business hours, you can get help right away. If weekend, holiday etc, you just need to be patient since not everything can be listed in FAQs, and bots can only do so much. Once you receive contact by a person, you can be sure they are very helpful and keen to solve problems and doubts. In sum, it is a bit pricey, but if you are looking for online academic support, this system works quite well, and they attract many good tutors.

Jan 08,2024My daughter has just had 3 months of Biology tutoring which has been excellent and assisted her in getting prepped for her A levels. Hina her tutor is very knowledgeable has a great style - would Recommend. This platform is user friendly and has been a great experience. Definitely would use again.

Dec 30,2023The tutor kept rescheduling the lessons, once cancelling at short notice after payment had been taken from my credit card. Unreliable service and a pain having to email in and ask for a refund.

Dec 20,2023It can be incredibly difficult to find a reliable tutor who actually turns up & does a good job. I find it incredible that someone on (their cut of) £45-£60 an hour can just not bother to show up. We've found a couple of good ones, but have recently had our time wasted massively by tutors who just don't show. Most are too busy to respond, some are poor quality, some are very flaky (regularly cancel at the last minute). TBH I don't think we've found one in 2 years, for 3 subjects at different times, that ticks ALL the boxes. It's a lot of work to try & find a tutor, and with this system it's very difficult. Today should have been a lesson we agreed with the latest tutor after a successful initial chat, but he just never accepted the time through the platform so we're left wondering what's going on. The admins are helpful, but with flakey tutors like this what can they do?

Dec 09,2023My daughter is preparing for a math paper and she needs some help. So we ask My Tutor to help us find someone to help. At a cost of over £30 per session, we got someone that cancels our weekly session at last minute, or doesn’t even turn up leaving us waiting. As the exam approaches, My Tutor is having the opposite effect of what we intended - it’s creating more anxiety in my child. I’m afraid I can’t recommend it.

Nov 25,2023As a student athlete Academy, my honest opinion on athletia Academy is a 10 /10 reasons are because the teachers are amazing and kind and very knowledgeable teachers, as well as very helpful. I I was in set for for lessons, coming to athlete Academy, got me to move to Sets higer reasons are because. There are 5 kids and one teacher on the table, which means you can ask as many questions as you would like and the sessions are for 1 and 45 minutes which means you can ask as many questions as well as Briony and Anica are the best two teachers, I have ever met in my life because they are so helpful and kind you can talk to them whenever you want ask questions, and if you don’t feel well you can tell them and they would help you. This Academy is amazing you should really come

Nov 13,2023My tutor is an Excellent platform for affordable high quality tuition. We used my tutor for my son for A level further maths tuition. He was taught by another student currently at university. They offer Excellent tuition at bargain rates. Most tutors locally wanted between £45 & £65 an hour! Which was way to expensive. We were charged £22 a lesson by my tutor so an absolute bargain! I’m proud to say my son achieved a grade A in further maths at A level. So it was all worth while! Well done my Tutor keep up the good work! Helping both parents with affordable tuition and supporting students at university with an income. A win win for all!

Oct 30,2023After making an initial enquiry the sales call was almost instant. At that point we were offered initial meetings with two tutors of differing price points so we could decide which one was best for my son. Only one meeting was arranged (more expensive end) and we were happy so had weekly tutoring for almost a year. Ella was great at communicating and rearranging if needed and our son seemed happy. We chose tutoring as he was working at low D/high E at the end of year 12. A level results day came and he achieved a D. A lot of money wasted really.

Oct 27,2023Ishali is an amazing and best tutor for Maths. Currently resitting it in college and hoping to get the best grade that I deserve. Ishali always taught me Distance time graphs since I tend to struggle on that topic and done some practice questions on them and then gave me homework to do👍🏻, best teacher and highly recommend. Thank you to the @mytutortutors with the best platform to use:)
