Aug 30,2023My child needed a boost with his A level maths and computer science. Tanheed is an excellent teacher. Very patient and won’t move on unless the task is fully understood. Tanheed really simplifies each subject, making it easier to understand. Was told he’s better than the school teacher (who was idolised). I would highly recommend using MyTutor.

Aug 30,2023Well structured maths lessons focusing on finding the gaps in knowledge. Callum has helped our two boys with GCSE maths for the last two years. Lessons were always well planned, focused on what they found difficult and explained with great patience. They have gained great knowledge in how to revise and how best to go about solving all types of mathematical questions. Callum comes highly recommended, our boys found it most helpful and wouldn’t have been able to achieve what they did whiteout his weekly lessons. Most grateful for all the help!

Aug 30,2023My daughter had Tanisha as her tutor for maths. She had no confidence in herself & was convinced she would fail. Tanisha is lovely & friendly, she built a great relationship with my daughter & constantly increased her confidence in her work. She learnt so much more than she had in school with Tanishas explanations. Would definitely recommend her, my daughter achieved higher than expected & this definitely due to the support she received from Tanisha.

Aug 30,2023Lily P is a fantastic tutor for Philosophy. She is clear, teaches exactly to the A Level requirements so my daughter understands what to focus on. She is also goes the extra mile to provide written feedback, essay structure and wonderful notes which are now preferred to the textbook! My daughter looks forward to the sessions and finds it easy to concentrate.

Aug 30,2023I would definitely recommend My Tutor and in particular, the tutor, Reece, who we chose to tutor my son for GCSE Maths. Reece pitched his sessions at the perfect level and also listened to what was needed with regard to gaps of knowledge and confidence. My son’s predicted grade was a 4 but he actually gained a 6 so he is very happy 🙂

Aug 30,2023The Tutor from MyTutor has enabled our child to improve their confidence so much more than we ever considered possible. It had been a huge relief to see them understanding the content at their own pace alongside what they are studying in school. Our child’s tutor has a great understanding of the importance of the learning process for each child being different and that has taken the pressure off of our child so they enjoy the lessons with their tutor. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Needed a tutor to engage in enrichment and discussions on subjects learned in class also to go over topics that my daughter was struggling with. Isaac is an absolute gem. He is thorough, knowledgeable and very keen to help my child be the best. His method of teaching suits her well and she leaves each class very happy.

Aug 30,2023My son has social anxiety and it was touch and go whether he would come down to meet Joshua for his lessons. However, that has all changed and he actually looks forward to his maths lessons now which is something I never thought I would ever write. This is down to Joshua's emotionally intelligent approach, his kindness, sense of humour, patience and ability to gain my son's trust. He truly is a gifted teacher and deserves to be recognised for the positive impact he is making in a young persons life.

Aug 29,2023Finn C. tutored my son over a 2 year period.(Ending this year for GCSE's) Finn is a brilliant and flexible maths tutor tailoring his approach to meet the specific need of each child he tutors. My son had very limited confidence in Maths. We felt, he needed room to develop technique, enjoy maths and focus. (a full classroom could not provide this) Finn did a brilliant job encouraging a (at times monosyllabic) teenager to have some belief in himself. My son is now looking to take A Level Maths (he had initially felt it would be too challenging) as a result of his experience of being tutored. Tutors like this are a rare find, so we will definitely try and have Finn tutor him through this next stage too.

James has achieved this massively. She has gone from being secure to now completing further maths. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you James.

Aug 29,2023My son was part of the cohort affected by Covid and we were aware that he was not totally prepared for the O Levels that were fast approaching. He started lessons with Lucy D. Her attention to planning before hand and proceeding at his pace helped him to prepare in a very short space of time for his exams. Lucy D also provided clear honest feedback which both my son and I appreciated and were able to follow and the result of a solid pass speaks volumes. Many thanks Lucy D

Aug 29,2023After missing so much teaching during lockdown our daughter was really worried about the impact it was going to have on her GCSEs and the pressure from school to catch up with all they’d missed was huge. We did some research and signed up with my tutor. The whole process is incredibly straightforward, very competitively priced but most importantly our tutor Amber ( GCSE French) was outstanding. She planned their weekly session based on not only the curriculum but on our daughters specific concerns and built her confidence in the subject no end. The feedback each week was superb too. She was of great support during the mock exams and the GCSEs themselves moving the weekly session to the evening before the exam to help our daughter be as prepared as she possibly could be. In the time she worked with Amber our daughter went up 2 grades and successfully passed French and there is no doubt Amber had a huge part to play in that! We can’t rate her and My Tutor highly enough!

Extremely well organised way of helping even when you don't know where to start, tutors we picked were very helpful and catered for the needs of my son (GCSES), really friendly and so very helpful. Would definitely recommend them.

Aug 29,2023Ellisse D is a fantastic tutor. My son lost confidence on sitting mock exams, struggled with a study structure, his grades dropped due to this. Ellisse helped with approaching exam "Before & During", set out a simple study strategy, held multiple mock exam sessions while encouraging him throughout the process. her professionalism and kind manner help my son get an 8 in further maths "2023 GCSE". We would be lost without Ellisse D.

Her explanation and all round knowledge was outstanding and helped make some hard topics a lot easier . Our daughter passed all 3 sciences and maths well thanks to Aimee . I’d have no hesitation in recommending her. Well worth her fee
