Not delivered on the day advised, still not delivered! Not answering calls as its all automated your held as a "next in line" caller for 18 mins and then no one is available to talk to so you are then forced to leave a message. Very poor delivery system that has wasted time and money, traveling to site for a day waiting and still no communication of what went wrong and when materials will arrive.
I wouldn’t recommend because I booked a days holiday to wait in for delivery and was let down, they messaged me and said they couldn’t deliver until next day. Paid extra to have already primed and ready to be painted but a lot need to be sanded down because they are very rough and marked. I read reviews before and a few were pretty bad and tried to resolve unsuccessfully so I thought most of them were good reviews so I took the risk, wished I’d never bothered.
Ordered a large amount of skirting for an ongoing building project. I was promised delivery within 4-7 working days which was lengthy but worked within the project timeline. I received no communication from National Skirting in respect of delivery times. I had to call them 3 times before I got any indication of a delivery date which turned out to be far far later than originally promised. In the end I had to cancel the order and go with an alternative supplier. The communication from these guys is utterly terrible!

Great skirting and Architrave. I ordered skirting and architraves to finalise the nursery of my daughter on the way. The delivery was fast and the fact that I ordered it primed saved me lots of time. I would definitely use them again for my next project.

If I could give 0 stars I would! This company is awful I ordered from them on 10th July with a delivery time frame of between 4-7 working days. Only to call them on the 8th working day after no hearing from them to be told my order would now not be delivered until what would be the 11th working day with no hint of an apology not to mention if I had not called them I wouldn’t have known. Then after complaining by email nobody even followed up my complaint. Finally after expecting my late delivery on the 11th working day and taking time off work to be at home I then call them again as the order has not shown up only to be told it will now be delivered the following day again they never called to me explain the delay or apologise. When you call there apparently is no manager to speak to either. Complete S… Show and the worst customer service I have ever received. Please do not use this company and make sure they go out of business!!
Paid for 4-7 day delivery on the 11th and still not received any dispatch details. Called twice asking for predicted delivery dates and was told both times I would be sent the details that day, needles to say I did not! Tried calling today 4 times to talk to someone about this issue and no answer all day. Absolutely shocking service. If I ever get hold of them I will be asking for a refund.
National Skirting use at your peril. I recently ordered 12 individual lengths of skirting board one length per wall to prevent joints but I received only 11 lengths,when I notified National Skirting there reply was ” Thank you for your email, to confirm you ordered 8 x 4.2m and 4 x 3.04 which equates to 45.7m of skirting, we have sent 11 x 4200mm which equates to 46.2m of skirting so you have more than you need”.They obviously think they can just satisfy an order by sending the same meterage and not what you want.If you order 60m they think it’s acceptable to send you thirty x 2m lengths. I won’t use these again, but it’s up to you😳
I’ve had two separate orders from national skirting now on different occasions. Experience was fine and everything was sorted on time. The skirting is good. My only issue on both occasions is how horrible the finish is on the boards when you order them primed. I wasn’t even going to write a review but I’ve just spent the past few hours having to sand all the boards down and re prime them. The bottom of the board isn’t too bad where it’s flat but every other part of it is terrible. Whoever is priming them needs to take a look at what their sending out. I chalked the first order down to a bad batch but the second order was exactly the same. Would use again but would order unfinished and prime yourself.
Ordered my skirting on the 4th July and still waiting My joiner will need to rebooted as they said it would delivered yesterday Contacted them today to see where my skirting is to be told the driver had phoned in sick Asked them to use a courier to deliver to be told they have their own fleet suggestion use your own fleet to deliver purchased goods on time Now been told it will be next week I'm just sorry I never read the reviews before purchasing as it seems to be a common theme

Terrible company avoid at all costs. Ordered skirting boards and paid £26 for delivery that was to take place within 4-7 working days. I had booked a joiner to fit them several days after the last date for delivery and paid a deposit. On the 8th working day having not received the skirting boards I contacted the company by email to be informed they were awaiting their logistics route before they could tell me the expected delivery date, despite the agreed window having already elapsed. I therefore contacted the company by telephone to be advised that delivery was due to take place on the date they were to be fitted, and that a specific time could not be given. I have as a result had to cancel the joiner and lose out on my deposit. In accordance with my legal rights i requested refund of the delivery fee to be advised by an extremely rude call handler that was not possible and would not be happening, despite having paid an extortionate amount for delivery already on the basis that was to take place within a stipulated window. Had I been informed delivery would not take place until later I would have not contracted with this company, not instructed a joiner to come on the agreed date and paid the deposit which I have now lost. I was advised that the company has had a large amount of orders to deal with and many drivers off sick. Whether that is true or not is obviously unlikely but nevertheless I was not informed of any expected delay and large volume of orders is unfortunately not a adequate excuse for a company that has made guarantees. Avoid this company and choose a much better alternative that is professional, organised and thereby able to stick to their end of the bargain.
Ordered 20m of primed skirting boards on 16 June 23 and paid extra for delivery within 4 - 7 working days. My items have still not arrived, I contacted customer services via email on 28/06/23, I had a reply from Chloe stating she has contacted logistics and will be in touch with a date for delivery. 1/06/23 and still no items and still no update with a delivery date. Would definitely not recommend this company, poor customer service and general communication. Expected better.
This is my first ever review! Credit where credit is due! National skirting really pulled it out the bag. I told Chloe that I had my carpenter booked in, the time frame was really tight, but to my surprise the whole order arrived bang on time, the delivery man carried all the lengths in for me. The finish of the skirting is good! The customer service was spot on, it’s a joy to see! Thanks to all involved ☺️ regards Amy
Do not order! I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the abysmal customer service experience I have been subjected to regarding my recent purchase from your company. I am truly appalled by the false promises and the lack of urgency in delivering my order, despite paying for delivery which should take between 4-7 days. On 14th June 2023, I placed an order for skirting on phone and opted for the standard shipping option, expecting to receive my items within a time Frame advertised . However, it has been over two weeks, and I still have not received my order. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering that I paid extra for faster delivery. Throughout this entire ordeal, your customer service representatives have consistently provided me with nothing but false promises regarding the delivery of my goods. Each time I reached out for an update, I was given generic responses containing excuses and apologies without any concrete resolution or explanation for the delay. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes cause delays, but the lack of transparency and accountability on your part is downright infuriating. I entrusted my hard-earned money with your company, and in return, I expected a reliable and efficient service. However, what I have received is nothing but a run-around and endless frustration. I demand immediate action to rectify this situation. I expect a clear explanation for the delay and an updated estimated delivery time. Additionally, I demand compensation for the inconvenience and the false promises you have subjected me to. As a paying customer, I should not have to endure such poor service and disrespect. If my demands are not met and my order is not delivered promptly, I will be left with no choice but to take further action, which may include escalating the matter to consumer rights agencies or seeking a full refund for my order. I eagerly await your prompt response, containing a satisfactory resolution to this matter. Rest assured that I will not hesitate to share my terrible experience with others, both online and offline. Ordered 4 lengths of skirting from here after having trouble sourcing some of the same size and profile shape of the ones we were getting for other rooms from Wicks. Turned up fine and everything was ok will be using again. The delivery driver who came was exceptional, very friendly and helpful. He spoke to me over the phone to find the house and helped my mam get it in the house as I was not in at the time. Credit to the company. Only reasons it is not five stars is it took longer than I expected to be delivered, it was within the 4-7 day delivery window but it was the 7th day and some of the lengths had some small chips on, which will need to be fixed with filler.
