Jun 05,2023They don't deliver in the 4-7 working days like they say they do. And when you call to ask about your order, customer services don't answer your call or respond to your emails or chats. I have been trying for days with no answer. Avoid.

May 27,2023I Answer to a respond from national skirting. In my opinion product was damaged and poor quality primed badly (extra charge for it) Like I said before item was left outside of my house exposed to anything when I wasn't at home. I forgot to add I did wait for it 15days (order 4th april recived 19th april) not 4-7 as their Website says. Many my email was sent with question about my case everything took so long and I received half of my money. This is what damage item policy says. "If your item arrives damaged or defective to you will need to send us an email to info@national skirting.co.uk. In this email you should include your name, order number along with images or a video showing the problem. This should be reported with-in 3 days recieving the goods. We will be in touch shortly after to advise a course of action to put this right." I belive I've done all above and wasn't advised about return charge. Still have not received rest of refund. Just embarrassment

I’m potentially going to be renovating a few rooms in my little old house and I won’t hesitate to use these again in the future. Apr 13,2023*IN REPLY TO NATIONAL SKIRTING RESPONSE* To address the suggestion there was no one at the property during allocated time slot, it's important to mention that the allocated delivery slot was 04.04.23, between 15:00 - 17:00. You attempted delivery at 18:07 on the 04.04.23, without any communication regarding your delay, so for you to then suggest that you attempted delivery within allocated time as a defence and it still be incorrect is laughable. ------------------------------------ Order No: 93876 Quite possibly some of the worst service I've ever experienced. £65.00 additional cost for fast delivery, 2 failed deliveries later, hours spent on the phone trying to get some sense out of customer services. Only to be advised that the delivery I was promised would arrive at 8:40 the next day, to be postponed. At 5:10pm, just in time for their offices to close. As someone who works in the service industry, absolutely appalled.

Mar 17,2023On Thursday, I placed an order for a skirting board with a particular rebate and was informed that it would arrive the following Tuesday or Wednesday. However, the delivery date was subsequently changed to Thursday and then Friday. Unfortunately, the order arrived eight days later but with the wrong items. The customer service department was unhelpful, impolite, and patronising. While inquiring about canceling an order and receiving a refund, they abruptly hung up the phone. Had to call back and cancel the order. Needless to say, I won't be placing any future orders with them. If it were possible, I would give them a zero-star rating. Update, few days after this review their driver turned up with the order that I have already cancelled, obviously I’ve refused the delivery. Then received an email asking me to confirm that I have my order delivered. what a waste of time… Update - Response to factuality inaccurate response to this review by National Skirting: On March 17, 2023, I informed National Skirting that I received the wrong order and decided to cancel my order due to concerns that they might mess up again. I called them back shortly after to request a redelivery slot, but they were unable to provide one and asked me to call back in three days to check. I refused and asked for confirmation of my cancellation. On the same day, I placed an order with a different supplier, Skirting4less.co.uk, who delivered my order promptly on March 21, 2023. However, on March 23, National Skirting attempted to deliver my cancelled order, which was disappointing. It’s clear that National Skirting failed to admit their incompetence and provide a sincere apology. Instead, they tried to blame me for the issue with factually inaccurate response. Their attempt to rectify the issue was neither fast nor effective and left extremely unpleasant impression. In comparison, Skirting4less.co.uk delivered my order within two working days, and their customer service was excellent with competent and friendly staff. National Skirting, on the other hand, took ten working days to deliver my order with zero customer service, rude and incompetent staff. I highly recommend Skirting4less.co.uk over National Skirting.

Mar 06,2023I would avoid this company until they improve their website (make it less ambiguous) and package their products. I wanted 5 skirting boards of approx 3m length. I read on their website that they sold their boards in metres (I wanted metres) of different lengths (tending towards 4m). I assumed the + 1 - add to basket box referred to quantities so I inserted 5. This was confirmed in both the online order form which stated 5 items and the delivery note which stated 5 under quantity. I eventually discovered after only two skirting boards arrived and several emails and phone calls that I should have put 15 in the box. I could not find any dictionary that expressed "Units" or "quantity" in terms of length (m in this case). To make matters worse the staff I spoke to were pig headed and insisted that their website was clear. They made no attempt to apologise or to ask their web master to improve their website. Furthermore because the boards were not packed 3 of them arrived with marks on them which were difficult to remove. I wrote to one of the directors but he has failed to respond. I had to waste £25 on delivery because of their very ambiguous website.
