I have called this company 12 times to try and talk to someone about this situation below. SO my PERSONAL experience from this company is that they don't answer their phones or like to speak to people who might have an issue with their ethics. As a Realtor, this company has been very unethical. I had been working with a client for over a month. Showed him countless properties, wrote offers, sent out tons of CMA's, and really worked hard for him (as I do all my clients). But, this client had been pre approved by several lenders prior to us meeting. Yesterday, he wanted me to put in an offer on a home he saw himself over the weekend. After putting together a CMA for him, talking to the LA and then calling him back he realized he needed to get pre approved for about 50k more than what his many approvals stated. He told me he was going to call the company that he liked the most. 30 minutes later he calls me back and told me he had called New American Funding and they told him if he worked with one of their agents, he would get 2-3k back on his transaction. He then told me he would only continue to work with me, if I gave him 3k of my commission. I asked him if the lender he spoke to at this company even inquired if he was already working with an agent, He said No. While I know it's not New American's fault for the decision of this disloyal client, I think it's INCREDIBLY unethical of a loan officer to not ask that question. We even have a BBA signed and I could go after whatever Realtor ends up getting this client into contract. Fortunately, I'm not that type of person, but I would NEVER recommend a company that would hijack clients by enticing them with 2-3k back on their purchase after another agent has worked very very hard for said client. That makes me honestly feel as though your company cannot be trusted. Also, I called the office my client called to talk to someone about this situation and not one time did anyone answer the phone or call me back. Never in a million years would I recommend this company.
New American Funding states that the lien to my mobile home was released in 3/11/2023. Why is the company saying this on this platform but has not contacted me in any way at all? I would think New American Funding would contact the interested party who, by the way, has gone through so much to try to get this lien released. As of today, I have not been contacted about the release of the lien. This makes me wonder about the honesty of their reply. 🤔🤔
They're decided to change my monthly payment every year even though we have 30 years fixed rate. We are 67 years old.. our real estate taxes is being adjusted by the county so less money Newamerican funding have to pay but my mortgage is more every year. The insurance and the market value aren't going up. I am going to have my lawyer to take a look at it. I wouldn't encourage any to do business with Newamerican funding because they are devious and dishonest.
All this company does is lie, lie and more lies. Look else where.
Extremely disappointed. I gave Bassam Bandak all the details. I submitted all the information needed. After 2 and 1/2 weeks went by and I paid $550 for an appraisal The lender that was supposed to be helping me, Bassam. Bandak informs me that I can't get the loan due to some technicalities. He should have asked those particular questions in the beginning rather than waste my time and additional funds on an appraisal when I I'm already struggling, hence needing the loan. Super disappointed. I feel I should be reimbursed for the appraisal.
Very helpful and thorough, made the loan process much easier.
I was nervous about the refinance process especially with rates where they are. Karl with the New American Funding took his time walking me through the process. He was kind, friendly and patient. The Funds were available quickly.
Our Loan Officer Edwin Miranda and the entire New American Funding team were amazing! After things fell through with our first lender less than a month before closing, Edwin Miranda stepped up and assured us that we would be okay and made good on that promise. He was very responsive, always checking in, guiding us through the process with both expertise and compassion. You’ll never deal with unanswered emails or phone calls. As first time home buyers, we will always be grateful for the service we received and we have Edwin to thank!
I just bought a beautiful house with New American funding, I can't express my feelings enough working with James Chen as my loan officer. Is the best that I can recommend people to work with and also consider new american funding as your lender they are quick and will get you in the home regardless.
After speaking with 2 other lenders prior to New American Funding, they made me feel as if they were salesman. Jennifer at New American Funding immediately expressed compassion in regards to my situation and immediately assured me that she could help me. She not only helped me, she helped to change my life. She made me feel like she genuinely cared. She kept me encouraged, uplifted and educated about the process. She took any fears that I had away. I highly recommend Jennifer Madrid and New American Funding.
New American in our opinion was a 5 star company that delivered a 5 star experience. Our main loan officer "Ruth", was beyond amazing. She helped to get us over every hurdle we encountered, and remained always optimistic. I am Disabled and some hiccups arose midway in our buying process due to that. No worries, for New American as they seamlessly powered through finding us a solution. We are now first time home owners and that would not have happened without New American. Making a decision to continually recommend this company and Ruth is a easy one. To future home buyers, if it is your first time, it's an adventure and it's work. Don't expect it to just be handed on a Silver platter. Work hard with your lender and the reward will be even sweeter. Attitude is everything. Thank you New American!
Exceptional service provided with knowledgeable loan officers. Highly recommend!
Excellent team of lending professionals who provided so much insight throughout the home buying process. The entire process was smooth, despite a minor hiccup that was quickly resolved. We would absolutely recommend this lender to our friends and family!
excellent efficient communication pleasant experience and above all the confidence and security that shows what you are doing to make your experience safe
Great communication during the process and amazing knowledge! Thank you
Your company has very competent professional people representing you. In my loan purchase i was very pleased and impressed with my loan officer Noah Oritz.
We had a great experience with William Alvarez. He went above and beyond every step of the way with us. We will recommend him to every personal and military family we know wanting to buy a house.
I had reached out to many mortgage companies but due to a bad credit score after problems during covid, Dave Heckart assued me he coudl help. I had just found out my arm was going up to 10.75 percent after years with the same company. He did a miracles job and got me into a 6.75 with assurance that after a few months when rates dropped, if they did, we could revisit when my credit score was better and possibly even same more money..thank You dave..they were also very good about keeping me in the loop constantly of what was going on
Alan Galicia told me i qualified for a loan through my income, but said mycredit score was 12 points short of a loan. He assured me there was a 97% chance my credit score would go up by the end of the month and that he will get back to me within 24 hours regarding the income qualification, and then work on stuff until the credit score would go up. He never emailed me or called me back or anything. They ignored all my calls and texts. They ghosted me and then continued to send out several spam emails. When I replied to the spam email sent by ALAN GALICIA calling him out, Alan said he had a family emergency and that he'll give me an update that evening.Never updated me. God forbid if you have a real family emergency that hinders you from working efficiently. You don't lie about that stuff! I never heard from them again. Liars liars liars!!! They are not here to help you they just want your money! Scam!

Apr 07,2023I just recently attempted to assume a loan. I was told that the process should take 3-5 days for an initial review. I kid you not, the purchase agreement was signed 19 February, we did not hear anything from New American Funding, who was on the email chain since 19 February, until 10 March. Almost a full month, 20 days to be exact. In the meantime everything else was completed (including a $550 inspection). Which I believe should be reimbursed, I may pursue small claims court actions for recouping costs due to negligence. In the end, New American Funding denied my assumption due to some rule that was not clearly stated. New American Funding pointed at the VA for why the assumption should be denied, but when going around to the VA local lender, they were 100% on board with my situation. By the time New American Funding admitted that it was a New American Funding rule and not a VA rule (which they were claiming for 2 months were the cause of why I couldn’t assume the loan) the seller wanted to cancel the sale and if I was to guess, not do an assumable so he didn’t have to deal with New American Funding again.
