I ordered a car key for my BMW in November last year which they made me pay £200 upfront for it. It is now the 10th of February and after speaking to Bmw today I had to cancel the order because they still can't get me a delivery date, now rather than give a refund they wanted me to leave the money until the key arrives, if I want them to keep the order open and wait indefinitely for a delivery or if I wanted my money back they would cancel the order. so not only did I cancel the order but I went online and got someone to come around to cut and reprogram a new key in 2 days and although a bit more expensive for an aftermarket key they are going to do in two days what oceans BMW couldn't do in four months I would suggest anyone who needs keys goes anywhere but BMW because it seems that BMW are the only people who can't get keys made for their own cars after four months I could have walked to Germany had the key cut myself and walked back so there's no excuse and the fact that they want to keep my money indefinitely rather than return it until the order turns up if it ever turns up I think is a joke and it makes you wonder just how much faith they have in their own services and after waiting 4 months for a item that they themselves can't confirm will ever be delivered nor do i
Amazing service from ben no hard sales just there to help. Everything ran so smoothly during the sale. Would highly recommend buying a car from bmw plymouth and definitely using ben as your sales assistant.

My car was booked in 4 weeks ago. I was advised to turn up the night before to collect courtesy car between 5-6. Drove from truro to falmouth. No courtesy car available! No contact to tell me this. They have my mobile number and email address on file. The receptionist was lovely. The other person I spoke to couldn't be less interested. Response was car not available you'll have to rebook. Thank you ocean bmw disgusting service.
Visited Mini and BMW Ocean today in Falmouth with a computer issue on my Mini Cooper S. I was helped by Lee Treveal who completely sorted my problem and got me on my way in less than 30 minutes. Friendly, helpful, informed service and no charge. Fantastic. Thank you Lee! Best regards Linda

This review is really to commend the outstanding service and communication we received from Jasmine. With our recent car purchase, nothing was too much trouble, and she went out of her way to answer questions promptly, whether by telephone or email. She is a credit and asset to BMW Plymouth, and represents Sales qualities: expertise, helpfulness and respect for customers needs, that should be found in all professionals within this line of work.
Absolutely dreadful. My car was due for a service and booked in. The day prior to the service we had a call to check that the car would be there for a recall and MOT. We corrected the person who called. We then asked if we could have an MOT done after the service, it seemed a good idea, which was agreed. Later in the day we called to check and were told that the car was booked for an MOT and service, and as we had a service plan there would only be a standard MOT charge. The car was taken in the next day. At about 2pm we had a video sent to us from a mechanic going over tyres, suspension and brakes, all OK., but nothing about service or MOT or collection. We rang to see if the car was ready for collection, we were told it was, but no MOT as it wasn't booked in for one and there would be a charge of £100 + for the service. To make matters worse the man on the phone was condescending and kept calling my wife 'dear'. I asked to talk to his manager and was told he was unavailable, I was also told that there was no complaints mechanism available. DO NOT USE THIS DEALER IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY. Addendum: My wife talked at length to the service manager who kindly removed the charge in question, but still a day ruined.
Just to say James at Ocean Torbay Service dept, is a credit to the organisation, always goes the extra mile, hence my loyalty as a customer to the group for over 16 years. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
Just purchased a stunning 8 series convertible this weekend from Ocean BMW Plymouth. Received extremely helpful and informative care throughout the process of buying the car from Tayler Curno who was excellent. The car was presented to the highest standard when we collected it at the weekend and if the after sales service is as good as what we received during the buying process we will never need to go anywhere else. I recently purchased a John Works sports mini clubman from Oceans Plymouth, which was in immaculate condition. After a couple of weeks we noticed the rear seats were damp. On investigation we found the void area below the boot was full of water, which did not happen over night. Oceans immediately booked it in to investigate. The lack of customer care started when my husband took the car in on my behalf due to my work commitments. The service supervisor was rude to my husband when he declined the courtesy electric mini as was not practical for our lifestyle, I will add we had assumed we would get like for like as a courtesy car. It took approximately two weeks to get the leak fixed, during this time the communication fizzled out. I rang and spoke to the service supervisor explaining the impact the delay was having on my work commitments, and was told I could collect it unfixed. I found her to be antagonistic rather than reassuring, not a good quality when dealing with a dissatisfied customer. When I finally collected the car, it had not been checked over as it was covered in bird droppings. The man in servicing washed it and parked it ready for us to drive off. On further inspection we found extensive damage to the drivers front quarter and wheel arch. The service supervisor was manager that day, she looked at the damage and said she would book it in for repair. There was no apology and we were surprised about the lack of urgency to repair the damage to a car that had immaculate body work until entrusted in their care. The way in which the Service Manager has followed up our complaint, along with a voucher to use on Oceans products, has not instilled us with the confidence to use Oceans Plymouth or recommend them to others.
Faultless Service Department. I’m new to the area and my iX 50 was recovered to Ocean Falmouth BMW following a breakdown. Car arrived at the dealership out of hours. Service Department had the car in and diagnosed the next morning and ordered the part for next day delivery. Car was completely fixed the next day as promised. They also completed an unrelated recall action. Bizarrely, after the 40 minute drive home the car developed an unrelated fault. Nightmare scenario as this was Friday afternoon and the ferry to Spain is next Wednesday! I called Service again – no problem, bring it straight back and we will look at it. They spent over three hours working on the car and ordered a necessary part for Monday 8am. I was at the dealership when they opened at 8.30am on Monday and they immediately started work on the car and had it completely fixed by lunch time. An absolutely fantastic experience with Ocean Falmouth BMW from start to finish. Everyone at the dealership was polite and professional at all times – and I spent hours and hours there!! Shout out to Lisa in particular who was my Service Advisor. She kept me informed and updated about progress with welcome regularity. The technician is clearly dedicated to his work and went above and beyond to get me on the road again. I read the reviews prior to this, my first experience with Ocean BMW Falmouth. My heart sank and I was expecting the worst. What a pleasant surprise to find my experience was the exact opposite to what I expected. All I can say is that whatever they have done to address the poor reviews has worked! I hope they will not let standards slip now. For context, I have been buying top specification cars for decades and this is one of the best dealership experiences I have had, especially given the circumstances.
