Ocean Estate Agents have been selling Bristol homes of all shapes and sizes – large and small, grand ¬and modest, smart and not so smart… for all kinds of people since 1984.
Founder Paul Harris started the business over 40 years ago with Ocean Bishopston on Gloucester Road, and there are now 12 local offices across the city including one in Portishead and Weston super Mare.
Their ethos is very much ‘people before property’, with the emphasis on looking after the individuals and families buying or selling their homes, to make what is often a challenging experience, as worry-free as possible.
Ocean’s teams, reflect the culturally rich communities of this wonderful city, spanning a diverse mix of ages and backgrounds from across Bristol.
It is also very much a family business. Many of the team have grown up and started their own families whilst working for Ocean – they even have some second generation ‘Oceaners’ now working for the company.

Sep 12,2024Difficult to contact - once we paid the holding fee they replied to emails slowly and ignored questions asked re timings, then requested documentation filled in in short time frames. Wouldn't use again.

In particular Mollie who showed us several properties and was very helpful, friendly and very informative which was crucial as we were first time renters. Tommy was also very responsive on email, quick to answer any questions or queries we had and was a great help in making the formal process of securing the property very smooth and stress free. We would highly recommend!

Sep 11,2024Horrible experience will not be using Ocean again. Never updating when need it, was told delays was being caused by our solicitor but it was the in-house oceans solicitor that the buyers were using causing all the issues.
