Jul 05,2022I found out about Oeno through Instagram. I have a small stocks and shares portfolio which has been returning 6-8% annually. Given the rate of inflation, I was looking to move my funds to somewhere which gave better returns. Shortly after signing up for more info via the advert I was called in person by one of the Oeno Team - Lewis. I was very wary at first as I didn't understand how Oeno works, what its business model was and how and when commission would be made/ taken. I also had lots of questions about investment return structures and predicted returns on investment etc etc etc. Lewis was great. He was (is) very personable and patient. He started out by working to understand what I wanted to do and what my aims for investment were. He was able to answer all my initial questions, and importantly, check my understanding of his answers as a newbie to wine investment. He also was able to share more information and background detail on Oeno after this initial call and he also shared a live (redacted) example of an actual portfolio's performance recent performance to give me a real world example. This first call was about 45 mins long. In between this first call and our next call, I did my own due diligence with my personal financial advisor who independently laid out the risks and the benefits of wine investment. After my second call with Lewis - again about 45 mins, where he went through the material he had sent over in the meantime and answered any further questions I had thought of, I was assured enough to invest. Lewis designed a wine portfolio with 2 year and 10 year return points. This will be reviewed for performance at least annually and adjusted to optimise returns. It took a little while to release my funds, but in a third, shorter phone call Lewis and other members of Oeno took deposit of the funds and invested according to our agreed strategy. I received the proof of ownership docs and receipts of sale in my email within a couple of hours of funds transfer. Since investing I've had regular (at least once a month) contact from Lewis through phone and whatsapp to update me on portfolio performance and also highlight anything useful on the horizon. It's great that as an Oeno client I now have direct access to him as a dedicated advisor. Lewis has been exceptional - his work has been patient, clear, open, honest and friendly as well as knowledgeable. I have not felt any pressure to invest, or felt like I'm being pushed into quick decisions - it's been exemplary and enjoyable from the outset. As for performance - I'm very, very, very early on in the journey, but given this, at my most recent update with Lewis, he indicated that at these early stages, the performance of my portfolio was tracking to deliver around 15% this year. I recognise that it might go up, or down, but as a general direction of travel, it's pleasing. When I am in a position to make further investments with Oeno, I'll be doing so with confidence in the company, the team, and the expertise and knowledge. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Lewis!

May 18,2022I first "met" Oeno during a conference last week and have nothing but praise for the manner in which I was greeted, informed and welcomed. Henry Donelan (who looks about 14) is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and personable beyond his years. He explained the Oeno opportunity without making me feel pressured in the slightest. Although I've worked in the industry for years, I still feel insecure in the wine world (as do many, I am sure) and did not sense the all-too-common superiority of "wine snobbishness" in the slightest. (A sign of sincere understanding and confidence.) My investment with Oeno is as much to learn as it is to earn and I find the group of individuals (and especially Henry, with whom I worked and hope to maintain contact in the future) professional, knowledgeable, competent and welcoming. Although it is far too soon to evaluate the investment financially, I feel I have already earned on an educational and enjoyment level.
