Although the board did have multiple faults which I was not happy about. I simply emailed the team at Staunton, They replaced the board for me within 2 days delivery, hassle free, lighting fast. My new board is immaculate. Top quality rated service along with the products they supply. Highly recommended, I will be a returning customer.

Apr 13,2022The best price and a very quick service even to the Highlands. The chess board had been damaged on delivery. There were a few indentations and marks, that although small and slight, your eye was always drawn to once you had noticed them! Once I had reported the damaged board was picked up by a courier and the new replacement board arrived a couple of days later. Overall very impressed with the service from OfficialStaunton.

Mar 12,2022The item I ordered arrived on time and well packaged. The price for this chessboard set was very reasonable and solidly made. My only dissatisfaction was the green material base on the bottom of the chess board which was not very well stuck down, the adhesive was not satisfactory. However the whole chess set was replaced the very next day and I was not asked to return the set I had mentioned/not happy with. The only improvement I would have liked was to have been able to have spoken with someone on the phone. This I was not able to do as no one answered the phone. However, overall an excellent service and a very well made, solid chessboard set at a very reasonable price. So have given 5 stars. Thank you to the English Chess Company.

May 11,2022The chess pieces I purchased are beautiful. They are too nice to hide away in a box. I really love the mane on the Knight pieces - there is a real sense of movement in them. I was very impressed at the speed of delivery too - next day! It is such a pity that so many items are out of stock, but it is a sign of the times unfortunately. Possibly it is a good thing - collecting these could be addictive!
