May 03,2023Fabulous holiday to Morocco - April 2023 This was my 2nd One Traveller holiday and it was so much better than the first. My first experience was on a cruise which hasn't been repeated, thank goodness - not all the issues were down to One Traveller, but enough said about that holiday. After my first holiday experience I was dubious about booking again but a couple of people convinced me to give it another go and I am so pleased I did. My travel companions were lovely and we all got on and mixed well. The tour Manager - Bob Sharp - was amazing, despite not being very well the latter part of the trip. The rest of the team were also great - Zahir (our local guide), the coach driver and bus boy (sorry but I've lost the piece of paper with their names on it). We visited some stunning places and stayed in some nice hotels including two exceptionally different ones - I half expected to see characters from the Flintstones come round the corner in one of them. It was a full on, busy trip (including some long travel days), but everyone kept up. I felt quite unfit compared to some of my fellow travellers who were octogenarians. I would definitely recommend this holiday to all however, just remember that One Traveller can only give a guide to the possible temperatures you may experience - global warming affects temperatures everywhere, so it was warmer than we all expected.

May 03,2023My second trip. Both were wonderful. The organization, travel and accommodation were great. The excursions were fascinating and inspiring, with the tour manager and excursion guides being a significant part of the experience. Another aspect was being with a great group of people with the common frame of mind of having an experience made richer by sharing.

May 03,2023This was my 10th solo trip with One Traveller and the best yet. Ali, our tour manager and Mai, our local guide, were superb - a great team. The hotels were all first rate and the excursions were very well planned to show us the best of Japan. It was a very friendly group of fellow travellers, which made the whole experience even better. I now just have to decide where to go next

Huge thanks to Penny, Carol, Mohamed & Tamir for all the smooth organisation and friendly kindnesses, and to the fabulous masseur Ahmed on board and to all the smiling boat staff The hotel was great, the boat just wonderful. Visiting all the sites was a dream come true for me, I would of course liked more time at them. I would also really have enjoyed another day or two in Cairo. It was great fun & I met some interesting and lovely people. I am so glad I was able to join this adventure.

Apr 05,2023What a lovely holiday I had with One T in February to Cairo and Nile Cruise. Both tour managers Carol and Penny were brilliant - always on hand, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our guide Mohammed was superb - friendly with a great sense of humour! It's all those little extras such as attention to detail, a private plane chartered for our group only to fly to Abu Simbel, a man to get your cases off the baggage carousel, etc that make One T different. The staff on the river boat were so friendly, attentive and helpful Good variety of meals. Great time with my fellow travellers! My only gripe was the poor service from restaurant staff at the Cairo hotel

Apr 04,2023Another lovely trip with One Traveller. A cruise along the west coast of Norway on the MS Bolette in Search of the Northern Lights and we weren’t disappointed. They were there to see 2 nights in succession. This trip also included an afternoon on dog sleighs which was magical with brilliant sun and blue skies. One could only hear the dogs barking and the sleigh runners on the snow. Quite an experience. An added treat was seeing a moose in the forest while we were out in Boda. Can’t complain about that!

Great Company and excellent tour manager Lisa C. Thoroughly recommend this and yes we saw the Northern Lights! Dog Mushing was also another highlight!

Will book another one with One Traveller as I know I am in safe hands and will have a truly remarkable holiday experience.

Apr 03,2023It was the best holiday yet with OT.. It was my 11th and was totally amazing. We saw cities, went dune racing in the Sahara and saw the sunset, went over the High Atlas mountains ( in snow) and Bob Sharp, the tour manager, Zahir the guide and Mohammed the driver were all wonderful. We even had a "bottle boy"with us every day on the coach dishing out water. The hotels were lovely, the food was delicious. It will live in my memory. Thanks One Yraveller

Mar 10,2023I have been on several solo holidays with different companies and One Traveller stood out for the meticulous attention of the admin staff before the trip and in rearranging my flights when I missed a connection due to freezing fog at the airport. The itinerary of the trip was varied and interesting. Richard, the tour manager made sure everything went very smoothly and I noticed how carefully he managed the needs of the group, particularly those who were less mobile. I would certainly use One Traveller again.

Mar 06,2023This was my first trip with One Traveller and I was very impressed from start to finish with all the planning and organisation behind the scenes. The itinerary was exciting, interesting and adventurous. This company went over and above of the experiences printed in the programme by offering even more when we reached destinations. The accommodation and restaurants were superb and the food always cooked fresh and in abundance. A guarantee for putting on weight! The local guides overwhelmed us with the detailed information about each place, all of whom were enthusiastic and cheerful. The tour leader did everything in her power to support us through an amazing unforgettable holiday. Best of all I loved the time on the water when visiting Halong Bay staying overnight on a classy junk, the coracle ride, canoe trip and evening boat trip and visiting the floating village, all added to the icing on the cake. Fun activities were calligraphy lesson and learning how to make fresh spring rolls with local people, not to mention shopping in the local markets and having tailor made garments fitted by dedicated, skilled experts in Hoi An. I came away with a better understanding of the history and culture of Vietnam and Cambodia but also made friends for the future. Thank you.

We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the cultural activities immensely. Can't recommend One Traveller enough. Already booked my next trip with them.

Feb 09,2023The location was beautiful.the hotel bedrooms need refurbishment I would personally would not chose to stay here.good choice of food but limited evening if your a vegetarian.the trips were very well organised and guides excellent.the coaches and drivers were also faultless.tour manager was helpful beyond his duty.friendly with good knowledge

Jan 29,2023The addition of a UK guide once overseas was unnecessary. Our guide added nothing to the experience in fact the contrary. On one occasion a traveller was ill and the guide was no help, if a UK guide is deemed necessary than surely basic first aid training ought to be mandatory. This company is for inexperienced travellers who don't mind alarm calls being arranged without their knowledge or permission. The guide treated us like children not telling us information until the day as if we wouldn't remember it and arranging 'surprise' visits. The evening meals were taken in the hotels and were indifferent at best. Lunches at local restaurants were much better. Our flight was not with the country airline and thus hours were added to the journey when we went via Singapore, presumably Singapore Airlines were cheaper than Thai Airlines not that this benefit was passed on to customers. The marketing information proclaims itself environmental stating it gives you a refillable water bottle to reduce waste. This did not happen. Far from being environmental this company is the first one that uses plastic luggage labels and attachments, also a metal one Traveller badge. Terrible. If this is your first holiday as a solo traveller and you are nervous then this company is for you. If you have an ounce of intelligence and don't want to be treated like sheep then look elsewhere. Further to the response from One Traveller I wish to add that if our guide had first aid training it was not obvious. He kept his distance from the sick person, who was lying on the ground, and I went to get a fellow passenger who was a nurse. Regarding Thai Airlines, I'm not sure what they mean about administration, but they are still flying at the moment and were definitely flying when we were in Thailand. Trust!

I know that they are all working to make sure that I get as much out of the holiday as I can manage. They consistently go well above the level of service required. Jan 10,2023I have just returned from Iceland this was my first trip with One Traveller. This company looks after you so well from the initial enquiry right through to collecting your luggage on your return they are with you all the way. The trip was very well planned and you felt in safe hands with the tour guide. I cannot recommend One Traveller highly enough. You are spoilt for choice with the range of holidays on offer. That is my problem where to go next?!

Jan 09,2023Unexpectedly, I thoroughly enjoyed myself! This was my first attempt at a holiday since I lost my husband and best friend after 59 years together, partners in business and in life. The break I chose was changed at the last minute when the hotel cancelled the booking and this must have caused One Traveller staff nightmares. They coped extremely well, we were rebooked and it was not their fault that the train staff were on strike! On arrival the welcome from hotel staff and our team leader was friendly and genuine. The first meeting, that I dreaded, was interesting and fun. From then on, relaxed and happy, I enjoyed every moment. Our team leader's care, knowledge and efficiency added hugely to the whole experience. My next trip cannot come too soon.

May 03,2023Had yet another fabulous holiday with One Traveller, my eleventh. The itinerary on the Japan trip was outstanding very varied, never a dull moment. Our TM Alison Bissett was excellent as always, and lovely to meet new fellow travellers. Cannot recommend OT enough
