Feb 01,2024Worst experience of my life. My wife and I booked tickets Madrid-NY. The tickets were cancelled 2 days later without explanation and 35 days later (as today) they owe us the money. Their customer service doesn't care to solve the problem, and they owe us 1.600 dollars!. NEVER EVER buy a ticket with this "company" and save yourself a hell.

Jan 16,2024Edit: refused to refund the ten dollar tip to the agent who booked my flight as a good will gesture/ customer recovery when I raised the below issue (with screenshots and facts). Ineffective, slow to reply customer service with zero autonomy or care in fixing any issues. Very intrusive company once they have your number, using the agent help function, then was asked for a tip. Non stop calls at an alarming rate to upsell? As a non recognized number I thought there had been a family emergency so answered during my working day - insanely disruptive. Non stop texts, although when they booked my flight with incorrect name they were, of course, unreachable. They mashed my first and middle name together which meant I had to queue two additional hours to sort out and if I hadn't been so early to the airport I may have missed my flight. I wouldn't bother. Edit: Ovago flagged my review as 'not genuine' after a customer service agent only got in touch after I posted this review, despite my attempt and communicating feedback (I'm not even asking for anything back other than the ten dollar tip, on principle, I was prompted to leave) via text, email and feedback survey.

I called them about which flight is paying for my Layover stay. They told me it doest have any hotel included and they can help me book an hotel. 48hrs layover at the airport. They're Scam and I will get my money from them. Let's see

He took time to explain everything to me and was very quick in responses. Overall time to book was less than 20 minutes and very easy to do. I am disappointed that I did not get free seat assignments that I was promised.😩

Jan 10,2024This company is a scam!!!’ They kept emailing that they will help me out with my flight and issue me credit, on the phone they tell you lies and just make promises. They never sent me credit, no flight credit lost $1000! Still trying to dispute no one calls back after 30 days! Be ware and go with a more reputable company

Dec 31,2023I booked ticket for my son with booking no 09BF0D5 from seattle - vancouver - taipei - jakarta. Apparently, my son couldn't fly because he needed a canadian visa to transit in vancouver. We called the Ovago Customer Specialist, JOB the person who had been helping us and told us that we could get the refund ticket. Then I decided to buy a new ticket from seattle - taipei - jakarta on the same day. However the next day, I received an email from JOB informed us that the refund has been denied. we called JOB again and he told us that he would help us. But the next day, we received the email again inform us that the refund has been denied. We called JOB again and again then He said we couldn't get the refund but he would help us to use the ticket back from Jakarta to seattle but we need to pay $480. Off course, we refused to pay that amount. Then JOB said whether we mind if we paid around $200 for the airlines penalty. He said he would send us the email and need our confirmation asap. We received the email and we confirmed this $280 penalty issue by the airlines. Then again shortly after we confirmed, we got an email stating that the request was denies. We call JOB again then he finally asked us to call the Alaska airline or Eva air. Both Airline can't help us as we need to ask OVAGO for this issue to be handle.

Dec 24,2023Their site doesn't work for managing bookings so I had to speak to a customer service rep to change my return dates for a flight. The rep told me there were no economy tickets left for the itinerary I was trying to book and said they had limited spots left for almost $5000. I asked for the proposed itinerary and the type of tickets I would be buying with the price breakdown. They never sent it and charged me. I had an epiphany to look up the airlines and flight numbers and found economy options for 1500 cheaper. Ovago refused to acknowledge their lie when I requested a refund afterwards. Don't book through them! Book through your credit card's travel benefits or the airlines directly. ——————— Update May 31, 2024 I have provided Ovago all the information they requested to process my refund. After three months of no response despite continued emails and phone calls to contact them for an update, on April 23 they suddenly had an epiphany to ask for more information - my rebooked flights which they had no part of but I provided the itineraries as requested. I have reached out weekly since then, via email since they can’t seem to help me over the phone when I do get through via phone call. They continue to tell me I will get a call back from a specific agent named Zeroa, which I still haven’t. I am still waiting for my refund worth over $7000 of flights that Ovago booked by overcharging me, failing to accomodate my needs that I had disclosed prior to payment, then failing to cancel my flights with the airlines after I said I had to rebook my flights on my own given their terrible job as a travel agency after I had trusted them with my travel plans, and I even requested that they cancel my flights but they failed to do so I was a NO SHOW to my requested cancelled flights. I am so disappointed. :(
