Aug 01,2023Do not book with Ovago. I had my doubts before booking but I wanted to save money and now I have spent hours trying to get my money back. It’s been 3 weeks since Ovago told me that they will be fully refunding me due to not being able to find alternative flights for me after one of the flights I originally booked had a schedule change. I should have been FULLY refunded by now and after back and forth emails, in addition to calls, this still isn’t resolved. One of the reps, Perry, told me last week that they will be withholding $20 back for a bogus non-refundable tax. Even though I wasn’t happy about it since there wasn’t any mentioned of this before, I finally agreed for them to move forward with the refund minus the $20. I still do not have a refund and I’m being told that they are still working to “resolved at the earliest possible convenience.” I’m getting ready to file a complaint with the attorney general’s office as well as the FTC. Don’t be fooled by thinking you booked a legit ticket with Ovago. If it’s too good to be true, it’s most likely a scam.

Jul 29,2023This company is a total scam - buyer beware. They booked me on Basic economy without explaining that. The ticket was over $1400 and it typically cost $509-$600 to fly the destination I was booking. When I called to change the outgoing date by two days they requested an additional $900. I had to call United directly to get some help!

Jul 17,2023The agent was very courteous and patient, especially while we needed to discuss details on our side. I appreciate he made a return call after the ticketing was successfully processed. Unfortunately, it wasn't specified that the price was in USD, despite saying we were coming from Canada, so when we saw our bank statement soon after, we were quite disappointed. We attempted to phone back when we realized the oversight (about 10 mins after process-success phone call) and the agent couldn't be reached. In the end, we felt we had to commit to the trip, but it would be prudent for agents and customers alike in the future to specify the currency, because they won't assume it to be the same as your source location.

He stayed actively involved in being a liaison and between me and the different departments. We had to troubleshoot and use multiple cards to pay with. Ultimately it was a long process but via chat Dustin was always helpful, had positive energy and was supportive. Even when I wanted to give up.

Jul 03,2023Bait and switch website, if you try a booking they will tell u it failed and to call them. They will turn around and try to sell u the same ticket at 3x the price on the phone.

Jun 30,2023Got international tickets. Flight there was no problem, two weeks before flight back they started sending change of flights for trip back. Fine, confirmed that I am ok with a change. It's been a week and I still haven't received confirmation or updated tickets. Customer service says "wait 2-4 hours" "wait 6-8 hours" "wait 6-12 hours" Considering next week is 4th of July where lots of US business are closed, and the flight is on the 6th, I have a feeling no one is flying anywhere.
