Sep 15,2023They booked me for economy despite me paying for premium economy. I called, emailed, filled out their online contact form, but they led me on a wild goose chase. Could not directly contact their "ticketing team" regardless of who I spoke to - kept being told "they would get back to me in 1-2 hours" but never received word for days. Finally had to refund my tickets. Meanwhile their sales team were VERY communicative... in calling me to pay for extras like travel insurance.... Do NOT recommend.

A few words to express his service for 2 days straight just to look for my international flight ticket according to my listed criteria, perfect inbound/ outbound time, sufficient time for layovers, reasonable price, ensure suitable seats for my needs. He is very patience per my request, enthusiastic to help, highly trustworthy, thoughtful to customer's need, consistently polite. I could not ask more from him in term of customer service. Sep 06,2023What you’re giving me is not what I ordered. The flight 380/381 was available at the time of the booking and I did not choose it for a reason.This itinerary gives me 1 day in LA instead of 3 that was planned with 581/582. I do not confirm the schedule change and demand a refund as it is a significant change as per Alaska terms of service even if it is non-refundable.

Aug 31,2023I just booked a pair of tickets from Boston to Athens on British Airways for half what I have found anywhere else. Within minutes, I completed my booking, received my email from Ovago with my PNR, logged into my British Airways account and started managing my booking. Completely happy at this point. Will update after my flights in November.

Aug 17,2023Please DO NOT BOOK THROUGH OVAGO. Once you buy the ticket, you are on your own if anything happens. They will no help you in any way and they will tell you they will call you back in a few min or a couple if hours and they will not call at all. If you book through them, know that your ticket is a 50/50 chance and you will have to book a new ticket if anything happens and they cannot fly that same day. I would pay extra $$ than risk it through this website and lose it all. The good reviews on here are most luckily written by Ovago personnel and not real customers. SPEAKING FROM A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE ON 08/16/2023 To know the truth of the website, check the bbb.org (Better Business Bureau which is an official US website) reviews about the Ovago website. My pleasure to safe your from these scammers :) Edit: the reply here is full l of bull***t and lies. Do not believe what they answer people here. I'm not the only personal who said this about them. READ THE 1 STAR reviews instead of the 5 stars that are most luckily written by them. The real reviews are found on the bbb.org website. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE!

She followed up on my online booking well and provided quick responses and was more than willing to help when we had to change our travel date to find the best way to switch. Her responses were very quick and efficient and stood out as the rest of the Avago agents could not find the way.

Aug 11,2023Once you book something with this agency, you should know there are no changes you can make to any of your flights. You can't even cancel anything, because they hot-potato you over to the airline, who can't do anything to help change your flights because the travel agency has jurisdiction over changes. I got stranded in a foreign country and ended up having to spend an extra $2k to get back home because I couldn't get in touch with anyone from Ovago to help. They are super shady, using ANOTHER travel agency to book flights - Golden Travel & Tours. It was just a mess. I'm never using a travel agency again and I tell everyone I know to stay away from Ovago.

Aug 10,2023Emma of Ovago saved my parents trip. My parents didn't alert me that they had a hard deadline to meet (a connecting rail ticket) until I had booked their trip. And I didn't have an option of a cancellation policy when I first signed up for my flight. I contacted multiple agents through the chat help, but Emma really made the save. She realized the airlines had a 24 hr cancellation policy which allowed me a refund on the first set of tickets. Then she did her magic to find 2 comparable roundtrip flights to the same destination and now within the timeline/dates that was within the deadline. I completed the appropriate booking while she filed the cancellation. That's thousands of dollars saved! Best of all she stayed in contact with me while my session had expired. I thought I lost my line, but she was still there! That's consideration beyond means. Thank you! I gave a tip towards an "agent" during my booking, but in reality that tip belongs to her! I will use Ovago again for my travels (and recommend all my friends) if there's this much that's taken care of in an otherwise unfriendly sphere of travel.

Aug 10,2023Ovago is one of the worst companies, ever. Not just airline agencies, companies. Here are a list of things they did: - They called me literally every day for an entire month (literally called me over 20 times about this) to get me to buy some additional plan, after repeatedly telling them I'm not interested. - They kept changing our flight details on us, but not actually telling us all the details about what changed, forcing us to call and navigate their god-awful automated call system. - Their website live chat straight up doesn't work on my computer for some reason. I tried 2 separate browsers. - They don't respond to emails promptly at all, you have to call. - They downgraded our seat assignments 2 days before the flight. - They are specifically trained to not answer your questions, but to give you the run around by saying related stuff that sounds good but isn't actually what you want to know, specifically to avoid answering the question they know they don't have a good answer to. - Every single one of their workers was incompetent. Every single one. I think we spoke to 5 or 6 different people across dozens of calls. They have a different "team" for everything, and rather than sending you to the right team after you ask them a question, they will only do this after they attempt to actually answer your question and fail to (that is, they have zero ability to interpret your question and then send you to the right team, they have to waste your time first). - Their workers are all lazy and try to get customers to do their jobs for them. To illustrate, multiple different people on the same call today told me to contact the airline, when that is in fact their job. Basically, DO NOT USE OVAGO. Use literally anyone else.

Aug 07,2023The Ovago team was able to resolve the issue with my ticket in very timely fashion. One of the arms of my flight was canceled by the airline and they were able to find for me a new ticket around the same price. The agents (especially agent Norma) are very knowledgeable.

I purchased one ticket and then I have been emailed, texted, and called repeatedly asking about upgrades and upsells. it's wildly frustrating. I think if you find a price you like on this site, simply go to the airline site and purchase there.
