Jun 25,2023it is scam company, they do not provide any about your ticket type is it flexible or none refundable. They gonna lie it is via company policy but after contacting AA they confirmed that it is not true. I wish I read reviews about them before got involved with them. Now they are trying to CONvince that they were showing that ticket not refundable which is a lie. Read all others reviews and stay away from this company.

Jun 22,2023We booked two tickets with this OTA but one of the flights was canceled. That is, of course, the airline's fault, not theirs, however, we received a new routing to our destination and accepted it, even is not the best one. 8 days later, the OVAGO team didn't manage yet to reissue the etix, claiming that the airlines should approve it. I got in touch with the airlines and they cannot help much as the OVAGO made changes on the reservation and didn't finish their job. Every single day this week they said it will be solved but... nothing and I am pretty sure our trip will end up canceled because they are very incompetent. Please don't book anything with OVAGO, there are dozens of much better OTAs, but I highly recommend you to book directly with the airlines.

Jun 19,2023I do not recommend to buy tickets through this travel agency. I had the worst experience ever. They were fast on selling travel protection, but slow on resolving real issues. I lost my flight with my kids - 1 year old and 4 years old - and they wanted us to pay 1,000 dollars more to get a new flight, since they made the mistake of voiding one of my daughters booking ticket. Took almost 2 hours to resolve the issue, and because of that, we missed the flight. I already submitted a dispute through my debit and credit card to get the money back.

Jun 11,2023The customer service here is awful, I haven't even started my trip yet and I am worried that it is all going to go wrong. I just wanted to change the time on one of my tickets, and Ovago wanted to charge me $3500 PER PASSENGER to change one 1 hour portion of my flight, when I told them I could just buy an additional ticket directly from the airline for $488 for this, and I would do that instead to avoid their exorbitant fees, I was told that if I did that without cancelling my flight or paying the fees that my flight home would be cancelled. This is literally extortion, I don't understand how they can charge $3500 fee to change a flight that the airline is selling for $488. These are ridiculous fees. I asked them to leave it alone, but now I am inconvenienced by my flight an no one seems to care at Ovago. I would not recommend using this service to anyone. Everything was great for me until it wasn't and I had to make a change.

Jun 08,2023Poor customer support. I booked a ticket from US to Manila. One of the recommended routes was thru Vancouver, Canada, which I took. I researched tha for certain countries like the Philippines, no visa for transit is needed. It also listed that Philippine airlines is among those whose passengers do not need a visa. On the day of my trip, Alaska Airlines could not check me in because the system says a visa is needed. I contacted the Ovago support and they immediately said a modification specialist will reach out to me and not to worry. Nothing happened and I ended up losing my flight and just took another one so I could get home. I received an email from them that they are closing my case since I used the flight which I was actually not able to.

Jun 01,2023I did booked my flight in April (from Del-SMF) through Ovago (paid around $1700) and last week i was checking my flight status and couldn't find my flight. I did contact Ovago and they said my booked flight is sold out. (I don't understand what that means. looks like they didn't send confirmation to airlines of my booking). And they told me only option left for me is to get refund from carrier. I said, ok please refund me back soon as i need to buy new ticket as my flight is within week by now. I am calling them since 1 week, it's very hard to get reply from them. Everyday i call them more than 10 times a day since one week to ask them my status, Sometime i need to wait an hour to get response. My visa is expiring soon and they are not giving me concrete decision about my case, whether I'm getting my money back or issue my ticket. It's really nerve wracking. I did post my review here on trustpilot few days ago and Ovago team did replied me on my review saying I email to investigate department of Ovago. I did send them email right away regarding my issue and details but no reply from them since 4 days. Ovago is being so reckless that who don't care about their mistake and give solution to customer. Now I don't know what to do. I couldn't get new ticket because they haven't refund my money, neither issued my ticket. My flight is on June 3rd but still no reply from them. It looks like they want to take my hard earning money. Final update: Finally, I got ticket but I had to cancel the flight due to uncertainty of my flight ticket and trip schedule. Got $1007 refund after deducting fees.

Jun 01,2023Was really quite nervous about booking on OVAGO as I read the reviews before. Tried it as it was offering tickets for the same flight I am interested in at nearly 1000 less than on the Qatar website (at 1499). Unfortunately the price disappeared when we were trying to do the payment (we tried 3 times). Anyway, the customer service officer Riley promptly called and emailed me to offer other flights, and when he found out I wanted that flight only, he sent me a link to book it at the new price 1697 - while it is not the lowest, it is still the best we could find at this moment. And finally, the purchase was successful. It did take quite a few minutes for it to be confirmed after payment has supposedly gone through (so I quickly checked in with the live chat and again had a prompt phone call from Riley), and we also received the codes/ ticket numbers to check on the airline side so it seems to be legit. Fingers crossed. To be honest, Riley was a great help throughout the process, though it would have been great if the prices don't just disappear when we are booking. I also hope OVAGO is not like what the others have said, disappearing if/when I need them later. Will update again if all goes well.

Jun 28,2023I recently had the unfortunate experience of booking tickets through Ovago for a flight from IAD to Mumbai with 2 stops in Berlin and Munich. Little did I know that this would turn into a nightmare journey filled with unnecessary hassles and a complete lack of support from Ovago. When I arrived at the airport for check-in, I was shocked to learn that I needed a visa to travel from Berlin to Munich, as an Indian passport holder. This crucial information was never communicated to me during the booking process, and I was left stranded at the check-in desk, unable to proceed with my journey. It was at this point that I decided to contact Ovago for assistance. To my dismay, it took a frustrating 25 minutes just to get connected to Ovago's customer care. When I finally spoke to an agent, my frustration only grew as they continuously put me on hold for extended periods of time, totaling another 20 minutes, passing me between three different agents who seemed to have no knowledge of the visa requirements for the specific route. The agent, who assured me that his supervisor would call me back promptly. However, I never received a call from the supervisor. Despite my repeated calls to Ovago, they showed no urgency or concern for my situation. They kept assuring me that supervisor, would call me in a few hours, but the call never came. Instead, after several hours of waiting, I received an email demanding additional payment to reschedule my flight. There was no mention of a refund, only an arrogant expectation for me to pay more money. This level of disregard for customer satisfaction and their unwillingness to rectify the situation further exemplify Ovago's incompetence and lack of professionalism. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Ovago for their flight travels. Their customer service is unhelpful, and their website lacks crucial information that can lead to significant inconveniences and complications during your travel. I'd never choose Ovago for any of my future travel plans.
