I am not a fan of chats but was trying to get information on a flight to italy as we are traveling with a toddler and need lots of info. Autumn was able to find a great price for us and answered all the million questions we had. Great experience!
Worst experience ever, zero support when it was needed. ovago representative answered my call when I made my booking, and I got scammed; after giving him my card number, I noticed a utility bill in INDIA paid by using my card; I contacted my bank and stopped the card. I booked my ticket, which had one stop, and they switched me to two stops extending my trip for more than 13 hours; because of it, I lost my luggage between airports and airlines switching, and I lost my payment on the car rental and one-night hotel booking. After hours of trying to contact them, you might be lucky, and someone will answer your emails or calls, and the moment you finish explaining, they will email you back that your issue is solved even before they handle it. Even when I requested to reschedule my flight back to the US due to my mother's sickness, I wasted three days trying to reach out to them, and in the end, they said that I have to buy a new ticket, which I had to do due to my mother sickness. I am confident that most of the positive reviews here are fake reviews managed by the Ovago team themselves, which is why these reviews are short and not detailed. Also when I booked my ticket customer service (asked)me to tip him, and he said $10 for you it is nothing and it is a lot for us in our country, so I paid him $25!!! I have never seen this with any professional services. If I could give ovago less than one star, I would definitely do it. OVAGO if you say in your response to my review we are sorry and all this nonsense lies, I have all documents which support everything I mentioned. Please be aware of these scammers. OVAGO U R A BIG SCAM!!!
Went on the website, the agent sent me an offer for a ticket for $500, I purchased it. After a few days of not receiving a confirmation I chatted with another agent who told me the price had increased to 575, I was upset as at that time prices had increased. I reluctantly accepted and they said they would process it, told me might take a few hours. I came back to news that it was actually not 875. At this point I gave up and got another ticket elsewhere. Not only did I waste time fixing this, but I ended up down almost 200 as prices everywhere increased while I waited. Also they said they couldn't confirm price so thats why it increased, however they were perfectly content to charge my credit card before it was confirmed, now I have to wait while this terrible company sits on my money

Rod of Ovago did an excellent job in resolving my flight issues. I just got diagnosed with Pneumonia & won’t be able to travel as scheduled in the next 2 days. I was worried about getting penalized for canceling my flight. Rod reassured me that no penalty will be charged because of my illness & I’m still within that 24 hours window of cancellation. However, I’m still planning to book another flight in the next few weeks once I recovered. Unfortunately, the prices now have doubled since I purchased it. It was the best fare I ever purchased. So, Rod suggested to use the credit on a future flight since it has a year of validity. Thanks to Rod for his immediate assistance & Ovago team, Jana & Sasha, who also provided assistance to me via chats. Thankful to Ovago for their excellent customer service & being concerned about my current health crisis as I’m a lung cancer survivor.

DO NOT BOOK WITH OVAGO. I honestly believe this is just like a scammy website. The customer service is actually horrible. They will not help you with flight changes. They will not answer your emails or calls. Like honestly, the whole purpose of a travel agency is to make handling these little things easier, and they have made it so much harder. I cant get anyone to help me simply move a flight. Why is that so hard? I have spent 7 days calling people, emailing, and chatting to live chat agents. I just think it is worth it to book all your flights on your own. Edit: even tho OVAGO sent this reply making it look like they will help me, even though I emailed them, they still never responded.
Dustin was a pleasure to work with. I needed to line up a flight with a ticket I already had. It took some time, but he asked about details which were important. I appreciate his taking however much time he needed to get it right.
Extremely smooth booking process. Found an excellent fare that provided non-stop flights at very little more than variations that were 6 to 8 hours longer. Very professional and quick.
This company will just continue to nickel and dime you. You think you're saving money, but by the end of it, you'll spend even more than had you just booked the flights yourself. Nicole you talked only about travel insurance, you requested that i add travel insurance multiple times even though after the first time i said my travel credit card automatically gives me travel insurance coverage so i dont need to add it. It didn't stop you guys from persisting to ask me about adding it on multiple different calls. You had a rep ask if i wanted "premium seating" I said no and then he asked if i wanted to pick a particular seat. I said aisle would be preferred, but I didn't want to pay anymore as i already was asked to pay additional to even confirm the existing reservation and i was already upcharged ONCE buy your company. The guys said oh well i can book you an aisle seat, but it will cost x amount more. I said nope im good. After talking with your agent, i immediately call the airline the ticket is booked through, to confirm that the seat was at least booked, they said it was, and that i was already in an aisle seat, SOOOOOO your employee tried to upcharge me on something that was already given. You can present whatever argument you want to your services, but lets be honest here, you've been trying to nickel and dime me from the start and if it's actually stuff that i found necessary or i wanted to pay more for fine, but multiple requests when i said im good and trying to upcharge something that was already there, is ridiculous. Edit : 3/30 Ok once again let me explain EXACTLY what happened, as you guys seem to not understand where you messed up and you put out some faux apology. Just admit you messed up and move on, i'd respect you all more for it. You guys called me and asked if i wanted to upgrade my seating to a premium seat. I declined. Your agent then asked if i had a preferred seat location, to which i told him aisle is preferred, but it doesn't matter and i'd rather not pay more to choose an aisle seat, to which they still tried to upcharge me on choosing an aisle seat. I said im good hung up and called the airline specifically, to which they told me i was already in the aisle. So your agent basically tried to upcharge me on something that was already given. Im not sure how much more i need to explain this to you guys as it just seems you're trying to save face in this review.

Purchased flight with this company, they then rerouted my direct return to a 16 hour difference with no better options. Then outright gave me no options after ANOTHER itinerary change even though I was emailed with the option a week before my flight and had to last minute book before I could even confirm my refund because the trip was so close. Never have I ever had a experience like this and I would never ever recommend this flight agent ever again after all the stress and last minute purchases.

Many thanks to Autumn and Rich. I just had a very positive experience with OVAGO. I never heard of Ovago before. I chose Ovago because it had a much better customer rating than other agencies. I’m really happy with that decision. Autumn was very professional, efficient and friendly. She helped me with the booking process throughout. She was thorough and patient. The deal she found for us saved us hundreds dollars per person. After the flights were confirmed by the airline, Rich assisted me with the confirmation of ticket information. He was very helpful as well. I highly recommend Ovago for its excellent flight options and customer support.

Do not trust this company. Buyer beware!!! It's been 4 days to make a simple change of flight date and still nothing.

Apr 09,2023Tried changing a flight. Talked to an agent they gave me only one option with 2days of layovers For a $700 price increase. When there are multiple flights for the date I’m needing at cheaper rates than I paid initially on the site. They told me to contact the airline an after getting through to the airline there notified me that they had multiple flights but cannot change my ticket due to the travel agency having full control of my ticket.
