Jan 28,2024PDFMaster unauthorized charge. Paid for a single use of .99 and was charged 49.99. I cannot find a customer service number for PDFMaster! DO NOT USE PDFMASTER!!!

Jan 28,2024Same thing happened to me, paid .99 for a week trial program and in only a couple days was charged another 49.99. I went back and forth via email but when I actually went back into PayPal where I had done the transaction I re-email them with the official PayPal account info. It says my charge should be refunded by end of the month

Jan 27,2024I had a problem with PDFMaster as i had forgotten to cancel their service in time and they charged me $50! When they saw my one star review/complaint on Trustpilot, they immediately contacted me and immediately refunded me the $50. I appreciated their follow up and only wish my initial interactions with them had been as productive.

Jan 26,2024Complete rip off. I paid to use the service and then without knowing I subscribed to a 49.99 membership when I paid for the one use I used. I contacted the company who said I can have a life time membership but wouldn’t give a refund. They also said they don’t refund online payments, I didn’t pay them they took the money from my account. Be aware!!!

Jan 25,2024I was faced with the urgent need to combine multiple scanned pdf documents into one and since I had no access to full version of Adobe Acrobat I decided to use the first link to the site able to produce the pdf merge functionality online. Google search brought PDF Master on top; they did their job well, I paid 0.99USD and got the document I was in for. Very shortly, I got two emails from PDF Master, and one of them made it very clear that I secured a subscription with this Company. Unless I make arrangements to cancel the subscription by sending an email, I would be charged 49.99USD per month, and the first payment would come in 7 days. I never intended to subscribe to their services. Anyway, I immediately logged into my PayPal account, canceled autopayments to PDF Master, and sent out an email requesting immediate cancellation of subscription (which I never aimed to arrange, in the first place). Then I started receiving emails from PDF Master customer care which - until now - do not seem to end. Now, they try to persuade me to stay, and brought the subscription price to 4.99USD/month, only 10% of what they were initially going to charge. This Company could have stuck to an excellent business model of providing their patrons with "pay as you go", one-time service, in case of urgency. Instead, they seem to feed on individuals who do not realize that they fall into a trap and ended up with a subscription they never aimed to order. Unfortunately, i doubt anything can be done, from the legal prospective. Even though they are doing their best not to disclose the fact of looming creation of subscription upon one-time payment of 0.99USD, it must be mentioned somewhere on their website. They indeed send out email with the clear depiction of subscription creation and future charges. The only thing I can do is to warn others about their reprehensible business practices.

I never ordered a subscription. 31 December: I cancelled the subscription in time. But it is blocking my N26 prepaid credit card. Upon reviewing your account, it appears that there were two attempts to renew your subscription for the next period, but it was declined by the payment provider. Consequently, your subscription was not successfully renewed for the upcoming period, as the funds were not deducted from your account, as evident in the screenshot you provided. On January 24 the payment is still blocking my prepaid credit card. My credit card company cannot delete it, only the shop who owns the product. N26 offers me to change credit card number...ass a final way to get rid of PDF Master sucking my money.

Jan 24,2024I paid for a one-time conversion at $1.99 that up-graded by PDF Master to a subscription fee $49.99 and was put on autopay and charged. I have requested a refund and was denied. UPDATE: To be fair, I have to report that after a few attempts for a refund and giving this poor review, They relented and, 10 days later, refunded my overcharge. It's too bad a customer has to go to such lengths for a refund, but--I have to thank them for doing so.

Une arnaque une vrai, que je vais signaler sur le nouveau site du gouvernement pour que cela cesse pour les futurs clients !!

Raised a case through PayPal and within 2 hours they had issued me with a refund. Definitely a company to steer clear of at all costs!
