Ever since we got in touch with them, the team at Petmovesabroad took everything in their hands and made us so much more comfortable. Mira helped us with everything and answered all our questions. Pat, our driver, was absolutely great. Overall a 10/10 experience and would recommend.

Jul 03,2024I recently moved to the UK from the US. I brought my chunky cat and I am here on a spouse visa as my husband is a British citizen. We flew with KLM/Air France from Chicago to Paris. PetMovesAbroad picked me up in Paris and took me the rest of the way. PetMovesAbroad had communicated with me via Whatsapp a few days prior to my trip. I had my driver's name and number before I left. Pino was my driver and contacted me and made sure I was aware he would pick me up at the designated time and airport. The package also included the train ticket (Eurotunnel). Upon landing, I had to go through the passport control at CDG airport. Afterwards, I found a cart and my luggage. I had connected to the airport's Wifi while walking to the checkpoint. By this point, I'd been messaging Pino where I was in the process. I was slightly delayed due to the lines being longer than normal, but Pino was very patient. He was waiting for me outside the airport in one of the waiting areas for taxis. He told me which door, and we found each other rather quickly. Pino took care of loading all of my luggage. My cat was almost immediately at ease by this point after getting in the car. Pino said he could come out of the carrier so I let him out to stretch. Most of the time, my cat laid on the floorboard behind Pino, or by me in the backseat while I slept. PetMovesAbroad has either vans or cars for transportation. In my case, it was a car - make: BMW; the make was a station wagon type. Their website lists their fleet information. Pino knew his way around the airport, countryside, border control, and England of course. He was also very nice to talk with (until I napped!). The first major stop was the Veterinary Border Control office. Pino assisted me by coming inside. We brought in my cat plus our paperwork. After verification, we were allowed to continue and then left via the car and went through the next checkpoint which was the French border staff. This was a very quick stop. Passport stamped and we were on our way. Right after was the UK border staff. This was the longer line, but lines cannot always be avoided! After showing my passport I explained I am in on a spouse visa and was instructed to go in another building for prints. Pino also knew the way to this building nearby. I was in and out very quickly after having my prints checked. After this, we waited in line (vehicles) briefly for the Eurotunnel shuttle/train. Pino drove us on and we just stayed in the car with the windows down. It wasn't terribly hot. It may be warmer in there come summer. Fair warning. The vehicles cannot be running during the train ride. After arriving in England, Pino took me to my new home. We beat my husband home by a few minutes but Pino helped carry all my luggage upstairs. Such a gentleman and polite person the whole trip. I feel very, very lucky to have been offered the opportunity to bring my cat via PetMovesAbroad. I would not have wanted to go through this on my own with a rental car or another way. Having someone that knows where to go is incredible. It was only one flight, but by the time I got here, I had been up for 24 hours. I did not sleep much on the plane, but I did nap in Pino's car! Sorry so long, but I thought details would help with anyone who wonders what happens when you try to do any of this process. Jul 02,2024We have used the service to relocate our cat from UK to Paris. It’s the second time we have used it as the first time was the way around to reach UK, indeed 2 years ago. The service provided by the company is brilliant: they are so nice, professional, helpful and the driver was so nice during all the trip. If one day there will be again a relocation to UK, for sure I will approach again this company for the same service!

We were amazed at the efficiency of getting our dog cleared through animal health certificate vetting in Folkestone; we had been alerted to have our papers all ready well before we arrived at the checkpoints (both canine and human). As he promised, we were through in five minutes. It was an effortless and very comfortable trip and we give the entire process our highest recommendation. Thank you so much for all of your help with this trip and getting us through its cumbersome thicket of regulations!

They sorted out all our concerns regarding pet moves from Middle East to UK via Amsterdam. They arranged for a pet taxi to pick us and the dogs from Schiphol. The pet taxi courier was well experienced and extremely courteous and helpful. I would definitely use this company again and would definitely recommend their services to others.

Jun 22,2024Everything was absolutely perfect from the first contact with Mira via email until the end of our journey to Bristol with Paulo. Mira has always been quick-responding, clear, knowledgeable, and helpful in the preparation phase. On the day of journey, Paulo took us from Paris CDG airport, helped with loading our luggages from the airport to the van. Van was very comfortable and clean. Paulo helped us pass all the stages (pet reception and eurotunnel pass) super quickly. It was simply a hassle-free drive from Paris to Bristol. Our cat Frigo also looked relaxed all the way from Paris to Bristol.

She ensured that I was informed about all the requirements needed to have everything in order, and to make the travel smooth, although her service only includes transportation. When we met with Pat at CDG airport he was kind and understanding, he offered stops for us and the pets, and provided a nice trip for all of us. I travelled from Mexico to London via Paris and I can tell that the transport service was a great way to finish our journey. I highly recommend them.

This was the first time we had travelled with our dogs and we were a little anxious about the process. We shouldn't have worried, Simon (our driver) met us at arrivals in Amsterdam and ensured that we had a smooth journey all the way through to the UK. He was really knowledgeable and expedited the process wherever possible taking great care of us and our pups. Mira has been so friendly, reliable and quick to respond, and Kevin, the driver who picked me up from CDG and dropped me off to Folkstone, was super friendly, helpful and accommodating! I transported my dog all the way from Kazakhstan, which was already a super long and stressful move, but services like this are literally life-saving! I had to also change the dates of my flight due to medical emergency, and Mira was so helpful in finding the best date to avoid high prices for Eurotunnel and booking me in for the transfer! Jun 14,2024I recently used Pet Moves Abroad to transport my cat and me (plus all my luggage) from our old home in the Netherlands to our new abode in the UK. I can honestly say that if there were a Nobel Prize for pet relocation services, this company would win it hands down. From start to finish, the experience was stellar. After all the stress of organizing my move, it was a sheer delight to get into the car, put my AirPods in, and catch up on all the sleep I'd lost during the move. But the true highlight was our driver, Paulo. This man deserves a medal for his patience and kindness. My cat, let’s call him Houdini for his escape artist skills, decided the carrier bag was his mortal enemy. He zoomed around the room like a furry blur, evading capture at every turn. Paulo, with the demeanor of a saint, helped me corral my feline tornado. At one point, it felt like we were in a live-action Tom and Jerry episode, but Paulo never lost his cool. With a mix of gentle coaxing and expert maneuvering, we finally managed to get Houdini into the bag. Not only did Paulo handle my cat with the utmost care, but he even provided some light-hearted banter to ease my nerves. His professionalism combined with his genuine kindness turned what could have been a nightmare into a smooth, enjoyable journey.
