Fabulous stay at Lisbon apartment. Very central but above a quiet street with no cars. Flooded with natural light, lovely windows. Well equipped kitchen. Large bedroom to the back which was very private.

BEWARE! Rented a Paris apt for a week via PlumGuide-DUMP $15k for 7 days and dirty , stained sheets, shower with no curtain, filthy rugs, broken tv, holes in walls-a dump Spent the vacation and a month after looking for restitution They offered me a future discount-NO THANKS! I have been advertising my flat in Milan through Plum Guide since more than a year now and I find the website offering a better level of guests compared to other in the market. I had an issue with regards of a payment than after a bit of back and forth has been solved showing the dedication Plum Guide team has behind their brand. Would definitely use it to advertise other properties around the globe!

Had a fantastic experience renting a cottage in East Sussex via the plum guide. Host was amazing and the cottage was gorgeous - so beautifully decorated, felt like we were in someone’s home instead of something thrown together as a rental property. The apartment reserved through Plum Guide was simply the best apartment we've ever booked/rented - in terms of cleanliness of the apartment, precision of the directions, and accuracy of the apartment description. Nothing was overlooked and more than we had expected was actually in the apartment when we arrived.

This is about the apartment in Verbena, Milan. The apartment is not luxurious but it is pleasant, comfortable and functional. The beds are comfortable and we slept well. Air conditioners worked well, we were there in August. The kitchen is small and basic but we were not interested in cooking at home so that was fine with us. There is a washer an a dryer, a little small by the US standards but working. Dryer takes a little long to finish and leaves clothes slightly damp so we would usually finish by hanging clothes on the hanger in the wardrobe. We did not have any maintenance issues while we were there. If you're planning to be mostly out and about during your stay in Milan, it is perfect. The location is great! Walking distance to most destinations. You can hear some noise from the street on both sides but it didn't bother me in terms of sleeping. Grocery store about 5 minutes walking. There is a rooftop private terrace with a seating set and a nice view but does not have umbrella or anything for sun protection.

Two apartments rented through this company (one in Rome and second in London) summer 2023, both are dumps. Plum Guides gave us a full refund on our first in Rome and we had to scramble to find new accommodations same day. Just arrives at second apartment in London week later and it sucks too. I always use Airbnb and heard about this and gave it a shot. Airbnb is 10x better. I am so annoyed, I’m on vacation and my house is so much nicer and cleaner. Avoid this company, don’t pick apartments without reviews, bad idea!

Recently had to cancel a long planned vacation (with a Plum apartment) to Italy, due to a medical emergency. The entire Plum team, and Host, were very gracious and helpful in canceling our booking. They were very fair in handling our deposit refund; friendly; helpful and very compassionate. Far exceeded my expectations. Have already booked a property for 2024, based on this excellent exprierence. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Worst experience at Midnight Cranes, Haringey, London. The neighbourhood where the accommodation was situated turned out to be a row of residential shops. It was rough, rundown, and completely different from the vibrant and safe location described on the Plum Guide website. The taxi driver himself expressed concern about our safety in that area, which was an immediate red flag. We were dropped off and had to make a number of phone calls to understand how to access the property – which turned out to be from the rear laneway. The laneway leading to the property was filthy, emitting a strong stench of urine, and scattered with broken glass. We encountered intimidating gangs at the entrance, who jeered at us and made us feel extremely unwelcome. Once inside the building, we were instructed to keep noise to a minimum out of respect for the neighbours – of which there were only shops. However, one of the adjoining shops played loud reggae music until the early hours of the morning, making it impossible for us to sleep. Safety concerns reached a critical point when we ventured out to get dinner. When l asked the staff at the local takeaway shop if the area was safe, they replied – “There are a lot of gangs who fight with each other” It gets serious. The police are regularly called”. We were harassed by the gangs once again, and upon returning to the property, we encountered an addict injecting himself with a needle at our back gate. This situation was not only distressing but also posed a serious threat to our security. I immediately contacted the number that we had been given, expressing our fear and requesting to be moved immediately to alternate accommodation. Shockingly, the operator dismissed our concerns, claiming the area was safe, and advised that the owner wouldn’t speak to us The lack of empathy and urgency displayed by the representative was unacceptable. Despite contacting my travel agent in Melbourne, who attempted to assist us, we received no response or offer of alternative accommodation from the owner. The following morning, we were left with no choice but to vacate the premises in search of a safer place to stay. This decision was extremely stressful, particularly because we had already paid a significant amount of $2400 AUD for what turned out to be a completely misrepresented accommodation. Our disabled son, who was traveling with us, was deeply distressed by the entire ordeal. The lack of appropriate security measures, such as a solid entry door (the door was glass), further added to our vulnerability. That night we took carving knives to bed with us. Not that we slept! Would not recommend this property to anyone. A greedy owner who took our money and wiped their hands of our issue.

Incredible Stay in Paris! We were thrilled to stay with PlumGuide during our recent trip to Paris where they offered us a fantastic accommodation with great communications and an accurate description. They provided us with plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Loved the location and the value for money - this is our second stay with them in Europe and we're hooked.
