Jan 12,2025The tradesmen carrying out the work were fine in a recent job but the price that PM247 charged for parts is nothing short of a scam. I was charged more than £300.00 for a part priced from a national supply company at less than £10.00 including VAT. Steer clear.

Jan 09,2025SCAMMERS! Stay away for your own good. Charged £144 just for turning up and then quoted a ridiculous price on top to fix the actual problem. The website claims it's a free call out which is completely false. Just like the other reviews, someone came and took one look at the boiler and then left immediately. This was then proceeded by a telephone call from the office. AWFUL AWFUL experience. Waste of time and money. STAY AWAY.

Jan 06,2025Abysmal service and abusive manner. They turned up and charged us £144 to tell us what we had already told them over the phone (the kitchen sink was blocked). The plumber turned up and I went back to my desk. 2 minutes later I went to offer him a cup of tea but he wasn't in the kitchen or anywhere in the building. Just then I got a call to say that the additional work would be £320 + VAT. I was confused because as far as I was concerned the plumber had only looked at the problem with his eyes and hadn't tried anything. The guy on the phone Scott was incredibly rude to me and suggested I was stupid (we are an office of 12 architects so not entirely stupid). When I asked Scott for his second name as I wanted to make a complaint he said 'you're not getting a second name mate'. Charming. I demanded that the plumber be sent back to tell me in person what he had diagnosed from his thorough check up. He admitted he hadn't tried anything at all and brought back a 1.2m inflexible drain rod for outside sewers and said 'well, it won't even fit in will it' as though he had said something very profound. I said I was at a loss to understand why he had brought an inflexible sewer rod as his only method of gauging whether a kitchen sink was blocked. I will never ever use these dishonest cowboys for any work and I have told anybody who will listen about the terrible service.

Dec 13,2024ABSOLUTE JOKE!! DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY BEFORE THEY ARRIVE!! First off I rarely ever leave anybody a bad review, as I also run a small business myself, and appreciate things can go wrong. I therefore gave this company the opportunity to put things right first, however they ignored my first email and then gave a very poor response to my second and ignored me ever since. I simply requested a refund as they failed to turn up, to which they have refused to refund. They were aware we had to travel down to the rental flat to meet them, and they committed to call us beforehand, and instead just drove past took a picture and said nobody home and banked the call out fee, they demanded in advance. We were chasing for updates most of the evening, but just got fobbed off about engineer running late, then not told when he was actually there, but since left. No apologies and a couldn't care less attitude from the call handler! Literally the worst customer service I can recall in years!

Dec 13,2024Absolute rip off read the terms and conditions Told them on the phone exactly what needed doing to my boiler and I have the part here waiting (literally unscrew a part and replace) and they told me £120+vat to carry out a small fix i could of done this myself in 10 minutes if I wasn’t laid in bed waiting for a hip replacement The engineer turned up and I told him exactly what needed doing he said fine 5 minutes later he goes out to his van I then get a call from PM247 Services to say it’s going to be £580 I then refused and they said ok please pay the £120+ vat charge and when I refused saying your engineer was here for 5 minutes speaking to me and then went back out to his van they said that there engineer had diagnosed the problem and a small fix is tightening something I refused to pay anything and said see you in court as they was trying to take advantage of two old age pensioners and a bed bound disabled person PLEASE READ THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE AGREEING ANYTHING

Dec 12,2024They quoted £144 to unblock a drain and then sent a plumber to look at the blockage, who then called back to the office. Then the office calls me and says is will cost almost £500 to unblock the drain!. I refused to pay this and told the guy to go away and told the office I would not pay as they still wanted to charge the £144. They were insistent I had to pay the 'call out' fee despite having not done any work. What they are doing is charging you for a quote - which is not made clear. Furthermore the company accounts department then immediately called me to threaten to send a debt collector which is both unreasonable and clearly illustrates a lack of respect for customers and the greed of the company. They have been sending me multiple emails and texts I have told them I will not be paying for a service I did not receive and will pursue legal action if they persist in pursuing it. I later got a local plumber to do it for £180. I suggest you look at the reviews here and on google as they seem to have a similar strategy to rip people off. Avoid this company.

Dec 11,2024They arrived 3 hours later than promised then told me lies. The saniflow didn’t need replacing for an exorbitant £1600 it needed unblocking. Which I paid someone else a call out fee to deal with, and they made good for £200. Never ever use this company the whole process was very very dodgy.

Dec 10,2024Had this company out on 21st October 2024, as my drain was blocked. The engineer told me he had to put a camera up the drain and jet out the blockage. This cost me £834, which I had to pay before any work was completed. Was told by the engineer that everything was ok with the sewer pipe. Today 9th December, bathroom backed up again. Phoned PM247 and was told they only cover the drains for a month. So asked if they could send someone to have a look as there must be a problem with the drain. Was told this would cost £495. An absolute con!!! Would not recommend this company at all. I fill absolutely let down.

Dec 04,2024Charged for a part that they took away with them. The plumber couldn't even stop the leak and caused water damage to our floorboards and walls in the room below. They pray on those in a desperate situation. Once you complain their email communication turns infantile as they deflect and place all blame on you, using a condecending immature tone. Avoid this company like the plague.

Jan 18,2025Work was completed , only after a surly plumber demanded I pay up in full before he carried the work out . The said plumber had to leave my property to collect a part and asked why I hadn’t paid when he got back to my house . I did say I have no idea who he was and with recent scams being carried out I was cautious about paying bills over the internet, especially a large amount of money they were asking for . The plumber continued to ask a few times and was slightly threatening until he saw my partner and was instantly nicer about it .
