Apr 15,2024In an emergency I called the company and they were on site in around 1.5 hours. The plumber, Lorenzo, was very polite, friendly and helpful, exactly what you need in a crisis. He then completed the job and gave me some tips on how to prevent frosting of the pipes when the winter comes again. The admin side was great too, got the booking, contract and payment instructions by email. It was all done and dusted in a matter of seconds. I could not recommend this company highly enough. The plumber himself was very friendly, had the spare part in his van and had finished the repair job in double quick time. Sometimes it's worth paying a bit extra for peace of mind and a prompt service. Quite relieved not to spend a worrisome weekend.

Apr 15,2024Terrible terrible company - do not use them. Wish I has read Trust Pilot reviews before engaging them. They charged 120GBP call out which was said to include attempt at unblocking drain. No attempt was made. They quoted 650GBP to unblock a drain which i said was excessive - they immediately dropped to 595GBP. They completely misrepresented the complexity of the job advising it was complex. But in reality they were done within 45mins. I actually paid a drainage guy a rate which was twice that of NHS brain surgeon or 4 x rate of dentist. They used high pressure tactics with a call centre pressing you to agree to pay before starting the job and asking for bank transfer and would not accept credit card as advertised. They even asked if I would pay 595GBP in cash to the engineer on the door step. Totally regret being strong armed into agreeing to this service. I have made a complaint to Trading Standards and I would urge others to do the same.

Apr 14,2024Steer clear of this company, I wish I had checked Trust pilot first as there are lots of others saying the same as me!! I have never written a review (good or bad) before but I feel ripped off! Quoted £120+vat to come out on a Sunday to look at a leak from a downstairs toilet. This cost was for an investigation and any small repairs. The plumber explained that a valve was leaking and would need replacing. The main office then called to say to replace the valve would be £450! I asked about the £120 I had already paid and they said this wasn't included in that price. I said I would not pay this much and they immediately dropped the cost to £295, which I also refused. The plumber, who was lovely, explained that he was not allowed to leave until I had paid the initial £120 +vat, which I reluctantly did. This company is a rip off!! Please don't use them!!

Apr 14,2024EXCELLENT SERVICE Plumbing engineer arrived within 2hrs (As specified). Assessed the job (A leak on the water mains coming into the house). Explained to me what he was going to do and gave me a price. He worked hard. Was a very polite and likeable chap and completed the repair within 30 mins. All in all, I highly recommend this service should the need arise for you. Outstanding Customer Service and follow up to make sure everything was ok as well! *****

Apr 12,2024pm247 attended my house on the day a large leak was found in my downstairs cloakroom causing flooding. The plumber Andre was great, explained exactly what the issue was and what to look our for in my 4 other bathrooms (which he took the time to check). Really quick service and he even cleaned up after the job was done so all I needed to do was wash the towels. Fab and quick service!

Apr 12,2024I had to get an emergency call out to sort a leak coming from my upstairs toilet into my downstairs toilet and i didn't want to muck it up any more because its an awkward shroud toilet, they managed to get a plumber (harry) out in an hour or so and he did a great job of finding the problem, fixing it and getting my unit back on the wall and re-sealed. would recommend their service!

Apr 11,2024Insane prices. Call out charge £120 plus VAT to be told that it would be another £695 plus VAT to clear the silted up pipe to our soakaway. Absolute rip off and obviously didn't accept.

Apr 11,2024A very fast efficient service, the PM247 call centre dealt with everything promptly, and had an engineer on site within the hour. During the afternoon the engineer kept me updated as to progress of the works, and left site clean and tidy. An excellent service that I shall be using again (should the need arise).

Apr 10,2024I hada wonderful experience with PM247. We discovered on Sunday morning that our washing machine had not been connected correctly by our builder and as a result was not filling up. We called up at around midday and were told they could have an engineer out to us same day between 2 and 4. Payment was done online and all super efficient. I got a call at 3:15 to tell me that my engineer will be due between 3:30 and 4:30. At 4pm the engineer arrived. He was super polite and incredibly helpful. He diagnosed the issue straight away and called up the office to let them know parts needed to resolve, they then called me to let me know and advise on additional money to pay. Again payment done online and he carried out the work and left within an hour. Really speedy and it meant we could actually wash and dry our clothes! Would definitely use them again if I ran into any issues.

The staff were clear and kind with the possible outcomes and prices, beforehand. The engineer arrived on time, identified and fixed the problem with ease. He clearly knew what to do and how best to unblock the drainage. He too was professional, kind and clear. I felt at comfort knowing they would complete the job thoroughly. The process and communication for transaction was equally clear and concise. I can say that I am happy customer which I rarely shout out, however I have to. Thanks to all at PM247. You guys are good!

Apr 08,2024Gav from PM247 attended my property on bank holiday Monday due to a leak from a radiator pipe that had soaked our walls and floorboards only days after we had moved in. This was not an easy job due to the fact that the pipes had been laid into a dormant fireplace. Gav was utterly professional and friendly, and we felt completely assured he knew how to fix the issue. He spent all day with us fixing the issue and then tested all of the radiators and the boiling to ensure there would be no further problems, and gave us further advice on the radiators and energy efficient use of the boiler. The office staff were polite and friendly, and I appreciated receiving an upfront quote for the work. I understand all trades are different but if you are in the South Essex and need a plumber then I can highly recommend PM247.

Apr 15,2024TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, ONLY INTERESTED IN GRABBING CALL OUT FEE. We have never had a problem with anyone we have called for a job but this company engineers come and then don’t touch a thing to make an evaluation We had a gas leak they came and said you need new pipe work and quoted almost £3000 and all this without checking for a leak properly behind cooker or underneath the boiler…SHAMEFUL.Charged us £144 for just showing up. When I tried to complain operators were rude and not interested. We then called British Gas and they said leak was behind the cooker and fixed it in 10 mins and saved us from being robbed by this horrible company.
