Apr 06,2024I wouldn’t recommend anyone to hire their services.. They promise but never delivers, we agreed a fix price of £144 including vat , to open blocked drain with rods and plunger, which raised our eyebrows but assured that worked normally 90%, they also advised if this won’t work pressure jet will be used to clear up which will cost us in total £195 plus vat. Their so called Engineer demanded from our attendant to pay upfront £144 before he carried out any work within 5 minutes without using any rods or plungers claimed this will cost us £544plus vat, Simultaneously had a call from their company with same demand which we challenged but to our surprise their Engineer disappeared with the payment. We are taking this matter to legal and sending a petition against this company PM247. Please be aware and think twice more likely 100 times before using this so called Scam.

Apr 04,2024Just an all round scam, quick response and very quick to confirm that there was in fact a leak, which was fairly obvious from the water gushing out to be honest. Attendance lasted about 60 seconds for which they demanded a fixed call out fee (£150) whilst refusing to give a quote to actually repair it. The plumber was a nice bloke but was ordered to sit on my driveway until I paid. I always thought invoices could be paid within a reasonable time frame but after 5 or 6 threatening phonecalls from the office over about an hour, I did just to make them stop. Once I had paid the fee, the quote which was apparently complicated to produce and would take up to 48 hours arrived immediately. Reading it, it was obvious why they were hiding it as it was utterly outrageous, in this case circa £600 to replace a single pipe, I had this work done by another plumber a few days later for £65.

Apr 03,2024I felt we had been completely ripped off, less than an hours work cost us £350, we are pensioners this sort of price should not be allowed, you have already paid the call out charge so they then know they can charge what they like. We would not recommend this firm.

Apr 02,2024£144 for call out, literally looked at the work and then decided to add another £260 plus vat to clear the kitchen drain!!! Drain could have been cleared 10 minutes or so and had they said £50 or £70 more, that would have been fine And i dont think you should believe this bit on their website Dedicated to delivering an exceptional quality service with absolute focus on Customer Care. Our service is underpinned by our core values of Integrity, Commitment & Success. We enjoy the privilege of working with each & every customer. The engineer came back and said they would do it for £295 cash So ask questions of what you get, as it appears to be a maximise the work from every job type fo company

Apr 02,2024Gav from PM247 attended my property on bank holiday Monday due to a leak from a radiator pipe that had soaked our walls and floorboards only days after we had moved in. This was not an easy job due to the fact that the pipes had been laid into a dormant fireplace. Gav was utterly professional and friendly, and we felt completely assured he knew how to fix the issue. He spent all day with us fixing the issue and then tested all of the radiators and the boiling to ensure there would be no further problems, and gave us further advice on the radiators and energy efficient use of the boiler. The office staff were polite and friendly, and I appreciated receiving an upfront quote for the work. I understand all trades are different but if you are in the South Essex and need a plumber then I can highly recommend PM247.

Apr 02,2024The service that the company provided was good however the prices are scandalous. £140 call out charge to diagnose and then another £360 to flush out a drain. Engineer was very nice and friendly, did a good job but pricing is way over inflated. I agreed to the work because urgently needed toilets unblocked but wouldn’t use this company again as prices are a rip off.

Apr 02,2024Paid £168 for a non emergency callout. Couldn't fix the dripping kitchen gooseneck tap. Wanted another extra £168 to come again to insert a new cartridge on top of labour and parts claiming it was for diagnosis. The dripping tap did not need any diagnosis as anyone with common sense could see. I put this company into the same category as time share, car hire cowboys. Avoid at all costs

Mar 28,2024Initial call out & diagnostic fee of 120 + VAT quoted, even though I already thought the drain needed jetting. Prior to getting them out I asked how much it would be to jet & was advised it started at £195 plus VAT total. So I got them round & the guy was not that helpful except to say that it needed jetting. (The engineer spent more time in his van then attempting to resolve the blockage!) The office then started quoting almost £400 to do the jetting, so I declined, then it went down to £300 odd. Just money grabbers in my opinion. My son then managed to unblock the drain in the man hole himself just using rods!! Which even more goes to show DYNOROD/ PMB 247 are not interested in delivering a good service. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN
