Dec 19,2023Used this company to fix a continuous toilet flush. Kass (Plumber) came out promptly and fixed the problem in no time. Pleased with service, if a little expensive. Would however use them again.

Dec 18,2023I contacted PM247 regarding a broken toilet flusher. The plumber arrived an hour late and told me that he would need to remove the entire cistern and replace the fascia to fix the toilet and quoted me £490 to do this. I said I thought this was expensive and I will get a second opinion, the following day, a local Plumber came to look at the toilet and found it simply need it a quick adjustment. I was charged £30 including VAT for doing this. I believe PM247 to be a rip-off, especially as I ended up paying £168 for the engineer to look at the toilet flusher and give me a full story to try and generate more, unnecessary work. This company is nothing, but a huge rip-off do not use them!!!!!!

Dec 18,2023I was unsure after reading some reviews here and on Google. Also the company doesn't present their service as reassuringly as it could. In the event, the plumber arrived promptly on time, checked, and did the job quickly. A payment link followed - for the original price quoted - when the job was done, promptly followed by an invoice. It was all over within 2 hours of my call.

Dec 16,2023DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, AGGRESSIVE SCAMMERS!! We should have looked at all the negative 1 star reviews before calling them. (15% '1' stars on Trustpiot, Hundreds on GoogleReviews, 17 '1' star reviews out of a total of 19 reviews on Yell) My wife called about our blocked drain, and asked if there was a 'Call Out Fee?' She was told, 'no', but then an email arrived (after the engineer had come) saying as soon as the engineer enters the property, a £160 'Investigation' fee is charged. The engineer then offered 2 different prices to unblock our drains, and then a 3rd price if paid in 'cash' This gave my wife the jitters so she asked him to leave our property. He then continued to hammer on our front door, while their head office called my wife repeatedly demanding the payment. I had to phone them and threaten to call the Police as he was intimidating my wife. If you read other reviews, this seems to be the companies MO. To either charge ridiculous amounts for the unsuspecting, and the elderly, or to demand this 'investigation fee' to people who sense that they are being cheated. Truly Disgusting. I wish we could do more to remove companies like this. But for now, please vote this review as 'helpful' to raise awareness.

Dec 15,2023The good: called PM247 as I had a water leak and they were quite quick to come and check it. The bad: as normal in the vast majority of water leaks there were a couple of parts that needed replacement, the cost of the parts was surely less than £50 in total (checked in Screwfix), yet they asked me for an additional £230 (on top of the £168 for the emergency call). I could understand if they were asking for the cost of the parts, but £398 for 30 minutes of work and a couple of parts that cost less £50, is an abuse. As I said that I would pay for the emergency call and get someone else to fix it, they reduced the total to £294. Still an abuse, but it would come out pretty much the same if I had told them to go and got someone else to do the rest of the job. Won't be using them again, not because of the quality and responsiveness, but I refuse to be a client of companies that only want to get the maximum possible out of their customers, specially in emergency situations. There are a lot of companies out there that do emergency calls and if the repair does not take longer than 1 hour, only charge for the parts.

The engineer, Cameron, was courteous, informative and professional. The work carried out was a high standard and totally fixed my problem. Was even given an aftercare call to check that everything was still working as expected and that the repair had been successful. The whole experience was made simple, easy and pleasant, which is exactly what you need in a plumbing emergency! Will definitely use again.

Dec 13,2023Appalling service! Charged £168 for a call out with no investigation nor work done and then they issued me with a quote for up to £995 plus VAT for a new shower fitting which didn't even include a repair to any damage caused to tiling.

Dec 13,2023Excellent Service and arrived within an hour of calling them. Their engineer Lee was very helpful and very accommodating and explained what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. He spent around an hour sorting out a blockage in our driveway and left everything clean and tidy and made sure we were happy with everything before he left. It was a bit more expensive than I thought it would be, but that seem to be the norm with everything these day. Hopefully I will not require their services again, but if in the event I did have another problem, I would not hesitate to call them out again.

Dec 12,2023I needed 3 things done, a replaced electric shower, new kitchen taps and a sink unblocked. My engineer Norbert was brilliant and fixed all three within a few days. PM247 was good at contacting me when a part was delayed in arrival. My negative experience was that on the website it says payment upon completion of job. I always pay for work done upon completion. Before the engineer was finished I got a few phone calls, texts and email reminding me to pay the outstanding 50%. When I queried this they said that the engineer would not be able to complete the job until full payment was made. Evidently this was sent to me in fine print beforehand. Why not mention this on the website? The service is expensive but efficient.

Dec 12,2023Andrea was our engineer , he was very pleasant and very helpful.He went out twice to get parts for the pump that was being renewed. It was quite difficult to sort out as it was under the bath but he managed to sort it out . Our tenants are pleased as the pump has made a difference to the water pressure on the shower .
