Feb 15,2022Highly recommend ProDog. My dog absolutely loves the food and looks so well on it, vets commented on what good condition she was in when going for her annual vaccination. Customer service is fantastic, whenever I’ve messsed up my order they have sorted it out for me so quickly.

Feb 09,2022I've been feeding my dogs on ProDog Pure bundle for the past 18 months. Tried a different brand during a special offer, and the dogs had runny tummies! So straight back to ProDog and binned the other! The Flexx Support supplement has helped my dogs who are 5 and 6, where Yumove hadn't done a thing. Noticeably, when I ran out of the Flexx support, my dogs started creaking and clicking! The subscription is a great way to save a bit of money and have regular, free, deliveries. The customer support team are such a friendly, helpful bunch, always happy to accommodate mistakes in orders or vouchers! An all round great company!

Customer service is excellent and extremely responsive, they always go the extra mile. Will not be buying my dog’s food anywhere else and recommend anyone reading this review follows suit.

Jan 27,2022⚠️AVOID⚠️ Unfortunately they use a courier service not fit for purpose They left my order in front of my door on a busy London Rd They refused to re-send my order I have instructed my CC for a chargeback ⚠️AVOID⚠️ Thanks for your reply I would have expected you to do the right thing as I was a victim of theft and re-place my order You lost a new customer and obviously I would not feel comfortable in recommending your food/service

Jan 26,2022My Black lab failed to thrive as a puppy. Dreadful diarrhoea, losing weight. The vet kept changing diets for him, all very well known kibble. Still having poos 7 or 8 times a day!! He was so bad he wasn't interested in food at all!! It was suggested I should try him on Prodog raw. Discussed with my vet who was keen to dismiss the raw diet but as the different kibble didn't work I decided to try him on the raw food. I had a very lengthy chat with Heidi oh my god, it was if she knew my dog straight away and her in depth knowledge was unbelievable. I met with Heidi who took the time to examine my dog and suggested the chicken diet. Within 24 hrs I had a different dog. He was pooing just small amounts twice a day, he loved the food and as the days went on he improved so much. He remains on Prodog which is an excellent raw food for dogs and I would certainly recommend it and my Labrador absolutely adores it. It totally satisfies his appetite. The Support from Heidi has been phenomenal. She has always been there for us. I truly believe if I had not switched to Prodog raw, I would have had one very sickly dog. Everyone comments on the sheen of his coat, it is spectacular. Thanks Heidi. Thanks prodog raw.

Jan 22,2022I feel the 1 star review left below me is very unfair as it seems like some people are very quick to do that once a little mistake happens or its out of the company hand as couriers can take a little longer than usual. Just wanted to get that off my chest first as personally myself I found the product and customer service to be excellent like many others on here. I tried the starter pack last week and my puppy absolutely loves the food and wow what a difference in his mood his coat and his stools which previously on his other foods was shocking everytime. I have now ordered a bundle box and this will be my dogs food for the foreseeable future. Thankyou guys . Great job and excellent raw dog food

Rang up and the lady I spoke to was pleasant but rather than just sorting it out on the phone it was “we will get back to you” when???? Jan 10,2022I decided to switch my dog to a raw diet around 4 years ago. After a great deal of research I decided to use PRODOG RAW. It was the best decision I ever made. Firstly, the product is amazing. The ingredients used are ethically sourced and human grade. This is key. If it’s not good enough for me I’m not feeding it to my dog. So much pet food is made from sub standard, not fit for human consumption rubbish. NOT the case with Prodog. There is also a fantastic range available with a massive variety of different proteins available. The difference this diet has made to my dogs health and well-being is incredible….for example - better coat, teeth, energy levels, and mood. Finally, this is such a great company to deal with. Once the order is placed you have a choice of collection or delivery. Communication is clear. Delivery/ collection is efficient and on time. On a personal level, if you want to discuss your nutrition then that option is available too - Heidi is a mine of information and knowledge. I can not recommend this company highly enough - first class.

Jan 09,2022I have used Prodog since I had my two Dogue de Bordeaux pups, Frank & Eadie. A representative of Prodog in Weston Super Mare “ mentored “ me through the feeding, correct weight gain, and supervision of my pups , eating Prodog. The result is my dogs coats, weight, energy levels are excellent. A local dog trainer who trained them from pups said “ they are in great condition, not overweight, which lots of DDB’s are!” I have ordered direct from Prodog in Hull more recently, and due to my lack of “ tech” skills prefer to order over the phone. The staff are helpful, polite, and always get me what I need, whether bundles or mixed cases. They arrive in a timely manner, well insulated. I would highly recommend Prodog to anybody. 👏 Alan Jones. We went from kibble ( before I had him) to this and the change in his physique and energy levels is astounding. Really happy with the overall experience with pro dog. And the delivery guy is also so lovely

Jan 09,2022Customer service needs seriously addressed, Order 3 times from pro dog raw and all orders have been delivered with either the wrong products which was purchased or completely wrong requirements of food. With having dogs that are sensitive to certain meats and foods we ordered exact bundles for a reason. However without notice or a heads up, pro dog raw thought it would be acceptable to just send substitutes that didn’t even meet the requirements for the dogs. So in fact useless to us. Upon telling them our issue, they battled to say they were in the right and this is their procedure due to ‘ lorry driver issues’. If a heads up had been given this would of alleviated any problems rather than put the issue on to someone else. Also we must state frozen raw food had arrived on multiple occasions thawed and unfit for purpose. Which cannot be frozen again. This is a major problem and a health hazard to dogs. Must also note that our delivery area states on their page that it is Highlands and Islands. which includes an extra charge of £17, although if you look on their delivery partners it does not say this information on their page. We are in fact not highlands and island. Their delivery states on their page 1-2 days shipping with extra charge. All our orders take over 5 days to arrive and un frozen. With all these issues we will no longer be ordering from pro dog raw, as these problems need to be addressed as seem to be a vast number of customers with the same verdict.

Jan 04,2022I switched from butternut to raw with no issues at all. Quality seems great and there's plenty of choice to keep him interested. Whilst pup is happy and healthy and continues to enjoy his food I will keep on buying it as it's good value compared to some other raw brands

Dec 24,2021I came to ProDog due to ongoing medical issues with my young pup who is a blue Staffordshire bull terrier. The medical conditions consisted of itchy skin, constant ear infections, vomiting, dizziness and over weight. I joined some groups on Facebook for advice and they advised to switch my pups food from branded royal cain dry food to raw. I messaged Heidi who was super helpful and gave me all the advice and knowledge I needed to help my poor Rubi roo. ProDog is local to me and she got Rubi down to a healthy weight and never had to visit the vet since switching to ProDog Raw. Rubi now tells me when it's dinner time as before she would just pick at her food,as to her it must have been like having cereal everyday! A year later she is thriving and it's all down to this team helping her get there,I cannot recommend Prodog Raw enough. If your unsure on if raw is the best thing for your dog, or if your new to raw feed like myself, this is the brand you should consider.

We compete in agility and I find the Revive supplement really helps my terrier cross recover and have prolonged focus. Delivery is to your door and the company are really helpful for any questions or queries.

Dec 18,2021My dog loves ProDog food, he does a dance every meal time, he gets super excited. The bowl is always 100% clean when he is finished. Aside from this food being the simplest way to feed a quality natural diet the genius yellow tubs have also helped with behaviour issues. Because dogs see yellow he recognises the tub instantly and knowing he only gets what's inside once he sits nicely, all it takes is for the yellow tub to be brought out and "ta da" instant good manners.

I will definitely use in future when buying treats or away from home and would recommend to those looking for this kind of service.

Feb 17,2022Update 24/3/22 I received an email yesterday with DEFRA's animal byproduct department. They advised the company has no right to refuse returns. They are misadvising that this is DEFRA's advice. I also found they are only registered and NOT APPROVED by DEFRA. This means that they are NOT regularly inspected as they quote. I know a number of people have had this issue. Please do return your items for a refund if you have had issues with this food. DEFRA are clear you have a right to return. THEY HAVE SINCE IGNORED ME AFTER PUTTING ACROSS DEFRAS ADVICE. As for their comments regarding emails. Over the course of the day additional thoughts had come to me, which I added by email. I am happy to share my correspondence with people of they'd like. I have not harassed anyone. Months on I am still trying to get my dogs confidence back in eating. Its been horrendous. She's old a d has cancer. I don't need to have her made ill by lack of nutrition on top. They have seriously damaged her psychology. Edit 17/2: having looked at Feefo reviews and their site many dogs are fine on the sample pack but are not when it comes to reorder. I shall be contacting my bank to indemnify the payment. I am disgusted, I just picked 3 comments from their own site, I hadn't seen Feefo at the time. As they say they feed 1000's of dogs, yet there are not 1000's of reviews. The comments are a snapshot and most people will walk away and not shop again and without making complaint. Yes their dietician did everthing she could to find every other reason this was happening........ I have also checked their responses to similar issues. It's a carbon copy of sorry your dog didn't transition well. Funnily I've tried all sorts of brands and it's never happened with any other company! But of course it's not their food, couldn't possibly be...... Disgusted at their lack of values and that they have psychologically damaged my dogs eating habits. I'm still struggling now...... Perhaps they'd like to refund the money, they would of they had any values. Please also check Feefo and the negative reviews here before you buy. Original post: I had to go back to the company as my dog started vomiting and itching. It happened at the end of the trial pack with duck and turkey but just assumed it was because they were a new protein. I gave her the first few meals from the new order, she started turning up her nose until she wouldn't eat. We had vomiting and constant itching. I contacted customer service. I was told the dietician would call me and she was gone before I could even say goodbye, I was slightly startled. The dietician was a nice lady and while we had a good conversation, I wasn't confident she ws correct. I decided to go and buy the raw food she was on before. She wasn't confident but after some cajoling she started to eat again. We lost the vomiting immediately and a few days later the itching had stopped. So having bought 6.5kg, only 500g eaten (which had to have sensory ingredients added). I opened a a kilo pack, vomiting got worse along with the itching. So I opened a 500g tub of beef, tripe and offal, knowing she can't resist tripe or offal I wasn't expecting further vomiting and refusals to eat. I have 3.5kg in the freezer, the 1.5kg she's refused, They email me back again mitigating everything I say, telling me it's isolated. Even sending them studies they ignore and find excuses. They ignore that it happened with the trial pack towards the end. That assuming it was the proteins not ordering those. Which, they tell me I ordered the same as the sample pack, clearly I didn't repeat the complete order. I then went to their website and found others saying the same. The sample pack had been ok but on reorder theor dog wouldn't eat. Again, clearly not the isolated incident they professed. Studies show much of the chicken used in raw diets has salmonella contamination. Judging from the order I fed her I think this might be the issue. Being an older dog she's susceptible to bacteria. I had hoped it was just the food being rich or something to do with the added ingredients but now I am unsure as I also bought from the pure range. So they say sell it on social media or give it away. I'm already feeling robbed, and do not have social media. I am utterly disappointed, it's the same everywhere, they brainstorm great phrases to pepper their branding. They profess who they are and what their values are and when it comes down to it, it's rubbish.
