Dec 04,2020Thanks guys! It was such a stressful time for us but you helped me and my sister through it. We had to sell our mums house as we couldn’t afford it in these times. They were really helpful explaining the details to both of us and answering any questions. It’s a shame we ended up with less money but the fact that it was quick was worth it for us.

Dec 03,2020Really smooth process, my case handler even went on maternity leave halfway through and the transition was seamless. I was really impressed how quick it was in the end- 23 days! We’d already had the flat on the market for 9 months and had had 3 sales fall through and just couldn’t take it anymore. Yes we ended up with less than market value but we couldn’t risk it going on for another 6 months or more especially because of covid.

Nov 16,2020If you need to sell this way then these are the guys. I researched other companies but they seemed most transparent and upfront. For me it was hassle free and I didn’t need to check that they were doing their jobs.

Nov 13,2020Excellent service and highly recommended. Took a little longer than was originally expected; days quoted turned out to be working days. We thought the offer initially received was a little high so were not overly surprised when an amended reduced offer was made after a survey. Property Rescue were in regular contact and the updates from Dino and Alex were appreciated. We used a legal firm that they recommended (Links Legal) and they were fantastic too. Our property was empty so we handed keys to Property Rescue and they did the rest.

Nov 06,2020Might work for the very cash needy. They are responsive and efficient but their proposition, if not exactly deceitful, is somewhat exploitative. They are openly honest about the fact that you will only receive 85% of market value and they will keep the rest. But ... the notional amount is agreed up front without valuation or survey. When you exchange they don't buy your property, instead you sign over complete control giving them the authority to do whatever they like with and to it. You remain the legal owner with many of the obligations and liabilities that come with that. They appoint and pay for their own solicitor to handle your side so you have limited control (that said, I didn't try to appoint my own solicitor). Once you've assigned control over to them they put the property on the open market and you receive a (very small) cash deposit. If you ask they may very slowly drip feed you a couple more cash advances in the coming months to keep you quiet but be prepared to fight for it. And though their ads say 'cash purchase in a little as 24 hrs' it takes as long as it takes to sell; normal market conditions apply. Until then, you remain the owner. When they finally find a buyer only then are valuations and surveys booked, and there is the inevitable price 'renegotiation' based on survey, searches and market conditions and when it finally completes you get the rest of your money. In reality, you can take it or leave this re-evaluated price which, no surprises, is generally less than initially agreed. If you reject this you're in breach and liable for all costs, including the solicitors fees that they originally agreed to cover. So you could find yourself tied to ownership of the house for much longer than if you just sold it yourself and even more out of pocket than the 15% you were prepared to lose. This is only going to work if you are desperately in need of the small cash advances available. My advice would be to proceed with caution and get all legal documentation up front. Initially they get you to sign what looks like a simple agreement that doesn't seem to commit you to much. But it ties you in so that when you receive the real stuff shortly after it's already difficult to pull out without incurring costs.

Oct 24,2020Stay well clear of this company they are a rip off. Was offered 2 amounts a high amount if we completed in a normal time or a lower amount if completed in 14 days, we took the higher amount then after about 4-5 weeks they said we need to expect the lower amount and complete in 14 days, we said no and asked if it would cost us anything to pull out and was told no. We have just completed and found out they had put a restriction on the lease so we had to pay them £1500, they are a rip off scamming company just stay away from them

Mar 11,2020We choose to go with property rescue for the simplicity and time scales that they offered. There was a little complication with our sale due to a third party, but all the team at poperty rescue went out of their way in order to help us resolve the problems.. And in particular I'd like to thank Alex, who was absolutely brilliant in helping us, and really went that extra mile, all the while remaining calm and level headed.
