We’ve moved entire home from oversea. The delivery was incredible smooth and professional. The staffs are very nice, pilot and helpful. Put everything well in the right rooms too. Great experience and highly commend for those who want to move home!
The first stage of our shipping process went extremely well. The support from our account managers (Hamish and Charlie) was brilliant. Very helpful advice and supporting us through the process. Also, efficient in responding to questions and requests. Both were very accommodating regarding our late request to change our collection date. Now awaiting a container to become available to ship our boxes to Australia.
Fantastic team that arrived within the timescales advised and worked extremely hard both days ! They took great care with our belongings and were a pleasure to have working for us . DON’T USE THEIR INSURER The insurance claim to Removal Claims Service who is the insurer for PSS Removals is a complete waste of time and money. They paid out a quarter of what I insured my TV for. No proof, no evidence that I can purchase a replacement for the low value they offered. It’s a completely one sided transaction and they rip you off. DO NOT USE THEM. Save the money that you would have spent on insurance and use it to buy any replacements you need yourself. Don’t think you will get the amount you valued your goods at and paid to insure them at. You won’t, you’d be lucky to receive a quarter of that from Removal Claims Service.
From start to finish the surveyor and staff were very helpful with queries and kept in touch throughout the process to ensure we understood everything and dealt with any questions however small. The packers were brilliant - polite, super efficient and friendly. Couldn’t have wished for a better service.
If I could give no star I would. This company fraudulently is holding my money for A deposit link they resent multiple times for one deposit. They sent link for £ 350 and £50 and are now holding £1150 due to multiple charges for the same link . No contracts have been signed by me to agree to their removal and they are refusing to refund the money for services which none have been completed. Or Agreed to. Doing business with No set fees and continue charging and not doing anything correctly in terms of finances. Said that there will be no refund because the team came out and did a survey of my removal property.? So I have to pay an unagreed to and no contract existing amount? For £1150 for a removal that should at top cost £2100 from UK to US? But I get no refund even though I said I do not want to and do not agree to move forward with the service or the company ? Shady. Can’t and shouldn’t be able to take the single time use deposit link deposit multiple times. Was promised the multiple pulls would all be refunded. The items were not refunded and now refuse to release/refund the amount due.
I was recommended to contact PSS by Thakeham Antiques in Dial Post as their recent experience shipping to Australia was very positive. However, it was slightly different for me as I was sending family antiques to my grandchildren as a 'living inheritance'. There were three certificates I needed, CITES - from HMRC, LAPADA and valuations from a reputable company. There was also a time factor to be considered and Australian customs to be navigated. The latter being very robust. I had considerable help and kindness from the ladies who were managing my shipment but for them, too I think, it was new territory. Now it's on its way and I'm hopeful that the outcome from Australia will be a good one.
Everyone at PSS from the sales team to the admin and move managers to the brilliant guys who came to pack up our house on the day were totally fantastic- replied so quickly to all our questions and were consummate professionals. Could not have asked for a better team to look after our move!

We used PSS this summer to move abroad from UK. We had several issues with them: 1- The process will be smooth and they would be very professional until you pay. They will send you an outstanding document to sign before packing. It was the warranty one even though we didn’t ask for it. We had to fight to cancel it. 2- Our container was delayed and stayed in departure port for 2 weeks with no notice. They will not respect the timeframe. 3- Once the shipping start and you made the full payment, they will ask you to pay an extra invoice: foreign exchange volatility!!! 4- Few days before arrival, they will send you another non sense invoice: “the shipping line has imposed further increases in the freight costs..” 5- Hidden fees in the arrival port: Customs, container discharge, inspection…. At the end for us we had to add about 1000£ extra as of course they will put your shipment on hold until you pay. 6- Today, I was added by mistake to an email exchange with another customer, they were asking him same costs…!!! This company is the worst I’ve seen so far, and if you can change and find a serious one, pls do…you won’t regret it
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND REMOVALS I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO AVOID PSS INTERNATIONAL AT ALL COST!!!!! They are more interested on your money and will not take responsibility of any damage of your items. After you have paid them and your items are shipped, they no longer care. You give them your custom and what do you get back? When you items are damaged, they resolve themselves of all responsibility and shove you off to a claims management company that are really there to make sure your damaged items are not replaced by not reimbursing you to replace you damaged goods. Please be warned. I am warning people now because we really shouldn’t have gone with them - but you live and learn I suppose. We paid for standard liability shipment cover for a few items, which included our televisions. One of them, the 65 inch sky glass tv was delivered damaged. I sent an email to Helen, our move manager, regarding this and she forward it to RCS, apparently their removals claim company. I provided all the information requested and the value of the TV. They came back with a ridiculous offer of payment, £200, for a TV that cost us £1,049. Absolutely ridiculous! We have contacted PSS and apparently they are unable to help with this and are pushing the responsibility to RCS. We didn’t deal with RCS when we paid the liability cover, we dealt with PSS. This is how they make money from people - get you to pay liability cover and pay the bear minimum that will not replace your precious possessions that have been damaged. We are so devastated and annoyed.
